Oh no @"clientreleases" !! I hope the post yesterday with a change log wasnt a one off?!
-
Its just been announced (yay!) that this is now resolved on this build (146.4.4836). See @"clientreleases" change logs do help 😉
-
*faints* Wowser @"clientreleases" - thank you!!
-
Its an account you set up - only you can manually link the accounts together and to do that you would have needed both credentials to do it. So you need to use the log on email and password you created yourself.
-
Hi @"jfjdsa" You should be able to just log in to your second linked account via email and password.
-
Why? We need more info here. What does Dropbox say if you mouse over its icon on the status bar for example.
-
I'm afraid there is no way now to relink the accounts. You need to log in to the account via the email you had or used - and without that there is no way to do it. Dropbox arent able to look up the records I'm afraid as they dont exist. Have you tried searching emails for no-reply@dropbox.com ? Would somebody else on the…
-
Multiple emails have been sent to every Team owner so not sure where they've gone. This has the info on it https://help.dropbox.com/teams-admins/team-member/free-teams-overview And to reset up the Team you need to pay as a Business user from www.dropbox.com/plans OR just use Shared folders instead.
-
Dropbox hasnt deleted it if it was a free team. It has simply unlinked them from the other account you have. See https://help.dropbox.com/teams-admins/team-member/free-teams-overview To get in all you need to do is log on to that account via the website (possibly use an Incognito / private browser window) with the other…
-
Hi @"osamamansoor" This has happened: https://help.dropbox.com/teams-admins/team-member/free-teams-overview
-
I'm afraid this is correct. Dropbox no longer supports the linking of free Dropbox accounts. If you want to link both accounts on your computer one needs to become a paid for Business account: https://help.dropbox.com/teams-admins/team-member/free-teams-overview
-
Are you using OSx 12.3? If so there are issues over online only files at present
-
They've been unlinked so Teams wont work anymore. It means unless you are a paid Business user you cannot connect two accounts together and so can only have one on each computer at a time.
-
Can you try doing it at the website instead? Does that work? Are you in a Business Plan? Have you checked with Admin to see if sharing is disabled on your account
-
Can you share a screenshot @"silvi3" ?
-
Hi @"TBirds" You need to manually download the files first in the Dropbox folder and then open in Adobe
-
A Team was just a way of combining and sharing files and folders. It allowed people to also link multiple Dropbox accounts to one log in on the web and computer
-
Unfortunately this is correct. You cannot move to Family while on paid plans.
-
Were you a part of a Dropbox Team @"chuckbo" ? If so when they were disbanded an old quirk seems to have been identified and fixed in that bonus space for some doubled when a part of it.
-
Is Dropbox on the other devices running and have you given it time for them to update and sync the changes to the directories?
-
@"Matt1a" unshare and then delete those files out of your account, yes, you'll regain that space.
-
@"Matt1a" it says YOU have stored 7.09gb, but that screen shot also shows you have 0.5gb of space in shared folders which are using your quota - hence the error is correct. You are over quota. Shared folders use up the quota of everybody within the share.
-
Hi @"FLG" You need to let the account completely downgrade and 'stop' billing before then going to www.dropbox.com/plans and upgrading to a new one with your correct info.
-
The process is exactly the same, but, whats changed now is that Teams are not supported except in Business. So down grade and re-upgrade BUT be aware of things that are not supported - for example Teams or the granular sharing permissions Teams allow.
-
Hi @"SCBC treasurer" It depends, how are you opening the file? If you install Dropbox on your machine it will create a folder structure and you can open and access the files there and it'll auto save to others however you MUST MUST MUST make sure that nobody else has it open or editing it while you do or you'll get…
-
@"Estelleb26" tags are only available via the website.
-
@"kodemonkey" - Dropbox, sadly, are horrific at just closing tickets 😞 All I can suggest is (from experience) is open another which references the first one asking why it was closed and what is happening. But then again if @"clientreleases" happened to care about users and say what fixes were in place people could possibly…
-
@"Euergetes" if Dropbox isnt showing it in events then the rollbacks are irrelevant - the file has actually never existed on Dropbox. So the issue is why hasnt it saved on the device for those days.
-
Hi @"Euergetes" For whatever reason nothing has sync'd on Dropbox between those two dates (meaning Dropbox cannot recover anything). Was Dropbox running? It sounds to me like the Mac has had issues saving. What is www.dropbox.com/events showing?
-
I was just about to comment about how expensive that is!!
