Dropbox is technically not supported on Opera: https://help.dropbox.com/installs/system-requirements#web although I know many people do use it.
-
You can email them directly in 🙂 https://help.dropbox.com/create-upload/email-files-to-dropbox
-
You dont have things like Little Snitch installed do you? What happens if you connect your phone to the network that your computer is on (if possible?)
-
It means exactly that - your phone doesnt have enough free space for it to continue to run I'm afraid. So even though you have 400mb or so you will need to free up some more space.
-
Hi @"john l.134" Have you redownloaded Dropbox and ran it? www.dropbox.com/downloading.
-
Hi @"pwll" No its not possible now, sorry. Even if you'd continued paying recovery is only possible for 180 days.
-
You need to reply to it @"mosi3311". However, from experience if you dont have the 2FA device or the recovery codes it isnt possible to recover an account - that has been publicly stated here many times.
-
Hi @"Jtavernor" Do they just need to view it? If so why not use a shared link? https://help.dropbox.com/share/create-and-share-link
-
Have you enabled Backups? www.dropbox.com/backups
-
Unfortunately its not possible to do so now. Even with a paid account you can only restore for 180 days. Sorry
-
How do you mean 'lost' ? Unless you are a paying user history is only available for 30 days and after that wont show.
-
You can get a shared link to documents via https://help.dropbox.com/files-folders/share, however if its to a bank you may want to ask and speak to them about what format they'll accept - many wont take links via File sharing sites for example
-
Hi @"Marc A.6" Before renewing did you cancel and downgrade on the plan you already had (I assume via website)? Reason I ask is that it isnt possible to swap payment plans between app stores and the website while one is in progress. So, if you didnt do that then you have accidentally set up a second account
-
Have you tried tapping on 'restore purchases' ?
-
What is the Dropbox version and what does it say if you mouse over its icon on your status bar?
-
The second email must be on the other account, so, you need to log on to that account (use www.dropbox.com/forgot if you are unsure of a password) and EITHER delete it or change the email on it. Then you can use the email on the account you want to.
-
But what are these changes @"clientreleases" ?!
-
Oh no @"clientreleases" You've started posting again minus changelogs
-
You cannot not register it. The Events log is automatic and not changeable. The only work around is to delete a file and then permanently delete it - that doesnt show in the Events log, however, everything else will.
-
Have you actually logged in to your account and set it up on the device yet? Those options looked greyed out as the system isnt running yet. Make sure you are logged in, set up and syncing and THEN set it up. OR uninstall completely and reinstall and use the advanced options to set it up as you go.
-
You will almost certainly be charged on Sunday. If you do not want to pay for the plan, especially if via Apple, you need to tell it to downgrade today (as the iOS store rules say to give 48 hours notice). You will keep the space until the end of the trial but if you dont do that you WILL be charged and as per the terms…

Once its at 12 months the data is automatically removed - as thats what is in the T&C's. There would be huge legal issues if they decided to randomly keep some peoples data when they said it was removed. Sorry 😞
-
Hi @"mrw2" Unfortunately without access to the email you cannot get access to the account. Also, if you set up 2Factor security and do not have the log on details or secure codes Dropbox wont over ride that - they've publicly said this lots of times. When its set up you are warned to make notes of the info etc. and told it…
-
They cannot be on the cloud if that page shows they are deleted unless they were in a second location and so the ones you listed were deleted elsewhere.
-
Hi @"TobyBaz" Unfortunately as they were deleted over 30 days ago its not possible to recover via Dropbox - even upgrading wont work as recovery windows are not retroactive. The only hope is seeing if the files are still on the old device at all.
-
Hi @"mark_urq" Have you also deleted the old iPad connection? If you are reinstalling its possible its trying to set a new connection up rather than using the old one already there.
-
If you are a free account there is no such thing as an Admin for it - its simple people who are users with accounts. That means you have no control over anybody elses accounts and they dont over yours. The only thing shared would be folders you share between people. So, if you want to set up a new structure and share with…

Dropbox is installed on local internal drives - it does not work on flash drives. Remember Dropbox was designed to replace flash drives. It isnt designed at all to work with them - and trying to do so will almost certainly cause data loss. If you want to save a file to Dropbox and then the flash drive you need to save it…
-
Hi Sorry what you are looking for isnt possible. Dropbox creates a folder on a local device. Work needs to be in that to sync to the cloud - it, however, does not have any link at all to any other device or location. So updating files inside Dropbox will sync to the Dropbox cloud (and other computers running Dropbox), but…

@"Brandon9" wrote: This update is going to break all of the file paths that we have tied into different things. Does anyone know if there is a way to completely opt-out of this update, or a solution so this update won't break our file paths? Thanks. Unfortunately not - you can postpone for 30 days but not opt out.
