Have you checked www.dropbox.com/backups? Also it can take a few hours to update the website quota page
-
You need to contact support and ask for help I'm afraid: https://help.dropbox.com/plans/refund
-
Dropbox cannot do this within its own software. You'll need to download the music you already own from Dropbox and upload/share it to programs that can do this for you.
-
Just to add to what has been said - you cannot send an album to Dropbox, you can send individual files over, however.

Sounds like when you renamed it you deleted the extension on the file (the bit after the . such as .mpg). Can you try readding it, or, restoring it to a previous version
-
Is www.dropbox.com/backups empty?
-
Unless Microsoft offers tools, no, sorry. You will need to download everything and reupload it.
-
I dont think its possible @"MKendle" Can you regain access to your email?
-
Set up www.dropbox.com/backups ?
-
Hi You need to contact Dropbox support and ask for a refund. You can get the info via https://help.dropbox.com/plans/refund Note that they may not do a refund as the terms do state its only where legally obligated to, but, they'll be best placed to discuss it.

www.dropbox.com/backups ?
-
How did you initially pay - was it via the website or via mobile? Are you at the point of renewal? I dont believe you can downgrade mid term - so if you have 4 months left of Pro you need to wait until that is finished before you can downgrade
-
We need more info here - why not? What is happening? What does it say etc.?
-
Anything in Backups? www.dropbox.com/backups ?
-
What about if you recover an older version of the file? https://help.dropbox.com/delete-restore/recover-older-versions
-
You need to leave the shared folder: https://help.dropbox.com/share/leave-shared-folder

Hi @"CaptTeeCee" There is no way to fix this other than set up a brand new account with the correct email I'm afraid. Dropbox dont, and wont, update emails on accounts unless they can contact the account holder - which is obviously not working or you'd get the email and be able to update it.
-
Based upon the error she hasnt accepted. Note she'd have to accept the invite with EXACTLY that address. So, if she used (or didnt and you had) some punctuation in the email or googlemail instead of gmail it wouldnt work.

Hi @"karenhartnett" How do you mean hacked? What has happened?

Have you checked www.dropbox.com/backups ?

If you are only seeing 2gb @"Bo JustMe" you've signed in to a different account, or, accidentally set a new one up. You can test that by going to www.dropbox.com/events - can you see any activity before you bought the new device? What about www.dropbox.com/account/security - does that show the previous devices connected?
-
I have to be honest and say 'no idea'! I know that email is not considered secure at all, as to how often compromises occur etc. I'm afraid I'd have to pass.
-
No, to send a shared link with password protection you need to pay. The work around could be to Zip it or password protect the actual files rather than the link. And DocSend starts at $10pm - there is no free tier.
-
I'm not sure it'll be the end - until very recently external drives werent supported. Plus, they come with HUGE risks of data loss. For example if the drive disconnects or Dropbox doesnt open quick enough then it can be seen as a complete deletion of all files. I think the bigger issue is around online and offline folders.…

Hi @"Testbed" As long as it was removed within 30 days you can recover via https://help.dropbox.com/delete-restore/recover-deleted-files-folders. Then once recovered click on it and look at previous versions and that should show WHERE deleted it (or who)
-
You should be OK - it should probably show 'guest' if they have the link tracked at all.
-
Not via Dropbox, no. The only thing i can think of is to embed the links in to the document so it is hidden behind the text.

Backups can only be activated by you I'm afraid but the wording on it is easy to miss especially on install. I'd also say ignore all of the data it gives on the screen about size - the whole program is badly designed and implemented and buggy as ******! If you stop backups via the software on your desktop and THEN delete…
