@"davidgaw" wrote:Unfortunately, it sounds like the change is being driven by Apple itself, not by Dropbox, which may mean that all alternative services face a similar limitation. If you continue to use Macs running Ventura or later, you may need to find another way to work or acquire machines with more internal storage…

The link has either been removed by Dropbox or its owner. You need to ask them for a new one
-
How are you checking its not working @"dmgonzales " ? If you are sending it and clicking on the link yourself Dropbox will detect its you and so you will be auto logged in. Try it via an incognito window or another device
-
Does she just need to send things to you @"JBPDX" ? If so why not send her a requests link?
-
Hi @"wmcorcor" I'm afraid the upload is totally controlled and limited by your internet upload speed. It should start speeding up once the file structures are created. However, the fastest way is via the desktop app itself.
-
If the email was not already confirmed its not possible I'm afraid. You will need to set up a new account and move everything over to that one.
-
Hi @"Fernando F" No they dont. However, if its saying it is 8gb in size then thats what it is I'm afraid. Do you need read only access? If so could you ask for a shared link instead?
-
I dont actually think its ever been allowed actually - so it must have been a bug that allowed it to share in the first place.
-
It should appear onscreen on the notifications (i.e. tap home screen and the Bell icon on a mobile device or the Dropbox icon on a computer)
-
Hi @"TeriDragon" Is this a folder inside of the 'App' folder on Dropbox? If so I dont believe its possible to share links to those folders.
-
You'll need to contact Dropbox via www.dropbox.com/support for assistance - as this is a public forum nobody here can help.
-
@"Kenville" - the only way is to regain access to the email address I'm afraid OR an already connected device.
-
No they wont. If you are really concerned you can always unlink Dropbox first 🙂
-
Hi @"NickArrow" Dropbox files would only get deleted IF you deleted them from the drive before you did the reset. As a Factory Reset would be done when Dropbox wasnt running (i.e. its from the BIOS / set up programs) it wouldnt actively delete the files in your own Dropbox

My guess here is that people have activated Dropbox Backup which seems to be not showing up on any page total unless you specifically go to the Backup page. The whole implementation and UI of it is, well, shocking. I'd be tempted to do a quick audit of staff and ask who has set that up and see if its possible to disable at…
-
How long ago did you delete the files? If you are in a Team it can take up to 8 hours to clear.
-
There is no page that will give that all in one go. You need to look at each folder or file individually. You can see all of them at www.dropbox.com/share but you will then need to click in to them
-
Hi @"iagdotme" So the simplest answer here is 'no'. Due to the changes Apple have made they are no longer allowing this. However, disclaimer here in that is the official supported line. There may be ways of doing so which involve tweaking / changing things BUT these wouldnt be supported by either Apple or Dropbox should…

Can you try and clear cookies, cache and temp internet files?
-
How are you trying to view them? From Dropbox's web page or a link?

@"Intrainfo" wrote: Same problem. 2FA is disabled but still asked for 6 digit code. Should I remove all weblinked sessions before toggling 2FA? Hi @"Intrainfo" Basically, this one-time security code email is sent to you, if Dropbox detects a "suspicious" sign-in attempt, but it's not related to two-step verification. You…

Does https://www.dropbox.com/dash/install work? My guess, however, is that it is technically not a currently supported program - the Command+E site asks people to sign up to be to told when you can install and set it up etc.
-
You can rewind before that BUT it may cause issues so I'd be tempted to wait until it was sorted first. The files should be stored in the local cache so shouldnt need redownloading again.
-
Hi @"NRW1" Why? What happens? Whats it saying/doing etc.?

@"Zigor" wrote:And if I pay another type of contract?? No. Its not possible to recover past the 30 days regardless of what you now pay.

@"jonsno" wrote:Thanks for this info. This is news to me! Is there a dropbox official release page where they have published plans and pricing as it relates to boxcryptor? Not as far as I'm aware. As the Dropbox articles say its going to be for Business / Enterprise customers so I'd imagine you get it via your sales reps.

We need to know why and what isnt working @"KBettmann" as nobody can assist without that info.
-
As a way of getting in use one of the emergency backup codes you had while setting up the account. All tickets are trackable at www.dropbox.com/support and can take a few working days for replies.

Hi Lisa Unfortunately you've misunderstood how shared folders work. Your upgrade does not give them any benefit at all. Shared folders use up the quota of everybody within the share. So, if they need read write access to the folder they need to also upgrade. Workarounds are shared links and File Requests to get uploads.

Hi @"Justin Jia" I very much doubt such a feature will ever happen (Dropbox was designed to replace flash drives), however, the place to request new features etc. is over here. Once you log it get people who also want it to happen to up vote it 🙂
