@"MarcelB" wrote: 1) Can we see anywhere till when suspension lasts ? 2) Can we know which specific links are suspended when many links are in use at the same time. Is it all links from the user account or just the specific link having generated more than 20 gig of traffic? Hi @"rolejarczyk" 1) no there is no log of this…

@"DAVEN L." wrote:So how do i know whether i hit that 32 referrals? You can see at https://www.dropbox.com/account/referrals

@"DAVEN L." wrote:Hi, So are you saying, only new uses accept invites and install either in laptop or desktop counts? Yes. That has always been the case. For it to be a valid referral they need to install on to a unique (i.e. not used before) desktop or laptop. Mobiles and tablets dont, and never have, counted.

When you open Dropbox on your machine (the actual folder via Finder) can you see any folders which have the syncing icon on them? If so drag them out of Dropbox to the desktop, let it sync to white box and then replace, that often helps.

@"DAVEN L." wrote: About 10 years You've not answered any question.... Also, note that there is a limitation to Dropbox of 32 referrals. After that you stop getting space.
-
This is correct I'm afraid. I believe its because Apple hasnt released the API to do so.
-
If it says you are syncing 32 files then there are 32 files waiting to sync - my guess is the ones you are missing. Have you tried a restart of Dropbox? Computer?
-
Hi @"mooerss" What versions are installed? Of Dropbox and Android. Its important to remember that Office 365 is not Word - the Word that its looking for. Its a totally separate program that contains all of them. There are still quite a few issues across all apps of software not detecting this correct.

@"DAVEN L." wrote: I invite a new user but I wasn't awarded 500mb of space Inviting doesnt get you the space, them accepting the invite and installing on a computer gets the space (note a mobile device does not count). You can see referral status' at www.dropbox.com/referral_status
-
That sounds like Dropbox isnt running - you can check for its icon on the status bar at the top. Simply restart it via Apps folder, or, reinstall from www.dropbox.com/downloading
-
That almost certainly sounds like Dropbox isnt running. Have you looked to see the icon at the top on the status bar? If it is there what does it say if you mouse over it? If not run it from apps or download an update from www.dropbox.com/downloading

Hi @"Tonee" What version of iOS and Dropbox are you using?
-
Are you going to the website to look for the Plan menu option? It doesnt appear on the software on a computer. www.dropbox.com/account/plan
-
Support is available via www.dropbox.com/support - I recommend using the contact forms instead for account issues 🙂
-
What type of account was it? It depends upon who 'owns' the account. If it was a linked business account (i.e. they paid the licence fee for it) they can recover and access it still just as they could when you worked there - they could log on as you at any point and view your data. When its a business account they own it…
-
Apple wont allow it to happen. Its a restriction from them to stop copyright infringement. As far as I'm aware there is no workaround without jailbreaking etc.
-
When you downgrade you dont loose referral space but it does half in capacity. You get 500mb as a free user but 1gb as a paid one. Other space, however, is often time limited and so may be removed. You can see your quota at www.dropbox.com/account/plan
-
The . shouldnt cause an issue at all - its a simple move. HOWEVER I'm wondering were they set to available locally before the move? If not that could cause issues
-
No there isnt at all BUT there can be restrictions based upon characters depending upon the OS. Can you see all of the files at www.dropbox.com/home ?
-
You need to contact Dropbox support and see if they can help. It may not be possible, however https://help.dropbox.com/account-access/lost-email-access www.dropbox.com/support
-
@"dwhamilton" - if it says you are using that have you looked at www.dropbox.com/home for files? What about www.dropbox.com/backups
-
If its a shared folder and you cannot see it it means you've left it. You can try and rejoin at www.dropbox.com/share OR get somebody in it to reinvite you back

@"jeremymidstates" wrote:That is very helpful. Thats even worse than my guilty pleasure @"Sheena" !
-
It may be worth checking what account you are actually on - Dropbox has removed all unlimited plans and notified people this was happening earlier in the year: https://blog.dropbox.com/topics/product/updates-to-our-storage-policy-on-dropbox-advanced
-
How long ago did it expire? And has your plan downgraded yet? Both need to have happened to allow it to be picked up via website
-
How did you upload them @"DesDekker" ? If via the web then no, the system can not work out what has/hasnt been uploaded and you'll need to start from scratch. If using software on computer and you just moved the files in to Dropbox folder, simply restart Dropbox and it'll index and continue where it left off.

Have you accidentally set up www.dropbox.com/backups ?
