Hi @"buckleyp" You have slightly mis-read it.... the article is on about recipients and their quota. If you send somebody a shared LINK then they dont need to add it to their Dropbox account and as such it doesnt use their quota. A shared folder with read/write access DOES use quota. However, as the files are on your…

Hi @"Mick_C" Unfortunately, nobody but the owner can delete it. However, if you have edit access you could, in theory, delete everything within it - it wouldnt delete permanently but it would remove it from the share and everybodys account. THEN you could leave it. To everybody else they'd then just have an empty folder in…

Yes there is Click on the 'Personal' icon on the bottom, then tap cog at the top and you can set a PIN
-
I dont believe it is available to purchase any more. If it is it will be available via https://www.dropbox.com/manage/subscriptions
-
Hi @"Taraobservatory" Simply put you cannot - Dropbox doesnt have such a feature. It isnt intended or designed as a sales or content distribution tool and program. You would be much better off finding and using a tool designed to do this instead of trying to shoehorn Dropbox into doing it.

All services are up and running. Have you tried the link yourself? Asked for a screen shot of error?
-
Unless you have a card available to use in one of those countries I dont believe you'll be able to. You are going to probably need to find a different service which offers functionality in your country.
-
Yes they are safe. Dropbox has no link, at all, to files or folders in other locations. If you want to test it just delete one and go check 🙂
-
Hi @"Petamo" No, only the one you delete will be removed. There isnt a link to files elsewhere.
-
I dont think Dropbox will work here @"roguitar88" - simply due to the bandwidth required. Dropbox on all account has daily bandwidth limits which I suspect will be hit pretty easily given your target audience of 10,000 viewers.

If you need more space to share files you can upgrade to a bigger plan: www.dropbox.com/plans. Also remember that Shared Folders do not use up that 20gb/day limit. And no, I'm afraid you just need to ride out the ban. There isnt a way of having it removed unless you upgrade.

They are what is in Dropbox - so that is a count of the files that it is syncing and changing. If you dont recognise the number my guess is that you've set up Backup or something and so its syncing files from other directories.

@"DMASSON" wrote:Hi Rich, Thanks! So, not possible anymore to save file directly from the mobile inside dropbox? Before, I opened a file on my mobile directly in dropbox and I saved it in a folder of my backup. Then, it synchronized directly on my computer. It was very easy. Now, if i can only see my backup on the website…

@"DAVEN L." wrote:So how do i know whether i hit that 32 referrals? You can see at https://www.dropbox.com/account/referrals

@"DAVEN L." wrote:Hi, So are you saying, only new uses accept invites and install either in laptop or desktop counts? Yes. That has always been the case. For it to be a valid referral they need to install on to a unique (i.e. not used before) desktop or laptop. Mobiles and tablets dont, and never have, counted.

When you open Dropbox on your machine (the actual folder via Finder) can you see any folders which have the syncing icon on them? If so drag them out of Dropbox to the desktop, let it sync to white box and then replace, that often helps.
-
@"DAVEN L." wrote: About 10 years You've not answered any question.... Also, note that there is a limitation to Dropbox of 32 referrals. After that you stop getting space.
-
This is correct I'm afraid. I believe its because Apple hasnt released the API to do so.
-
If it says you are syncing 32 files then there are 32 files waiting to sync - my guess is the ones you are missing. Have you tried a restart of Dropbox? Computer?
-
Hi @"mooerss" What versions are installed? Of Dropbox and Android. Its important to remember that Office 365 is not Word - the Word that its looking for. Its a totally separate program that contains all of them. There are still quite a few issues across all apps of software not detecting this correct.

@"DAVEN L." wrote: I invite a new user but I wasn't awarded 500mb of space Inviting doesnt get you the space, them accepting the invite and installing on a computer gets the space (note a mobile device does not count). You can see referral status' at www.dropbox.com/referral_status
-
That sounds like Dropbox isnt running - you can check for its icon on the status bar at the top. Simply restart it via Apps folder, or, reinstall from www.dropbox.com/downloading
-
That almost certainly sounds like Dropbox isnt running. Have you looked to see the icon at the top on the status bar? If it is there what does it say if you mouse over it? If not run it from apps or download an update from www.dropbox.com/downloading

Hi @"Tonee" What version of iOS and Dropbox are you using?
-
Are you going to the website to look for the Plan menu option? It doesnt appear on the software on a computer. www.dropbox.com/account/plan
-
Support is available via www.dropbox.com/support - I recommend using the contact forms instead for account issues 🙂
-
What type of account was it? It depends upon who 'owns' the account. If it was a linked business account (i.e. they paid the licence fee for it) they can recover and access it still just as they could when you worked there - they could log on as you at any point and view your data. When its a business account they own it…

Apple wont allow it to happen. Its a restriction from them to stop copyright infringement. As far as I'm aware there is no workaround without jailbreaking etc.
