Hi @"ericweathersart" If you were part of a business account they 'owned' everything in it and as such when they remove you they delete everything. The only way to fix that is ask the business admin to restore the account and then remove you from the business plan. However, that has to be done with 7 days or the data could…

@"beyon" wrote:How can I achieve this? Usually when merging folder structure's the computer ask if it should skip existing files and then it just adds the other ones. This is what I want. That would only be possible if you did it on the computer. Website upload has no way of checking files and so would upload everything…

The only people who can help are at www.dropbox.com/support. However, refunds are only issued where there is a legal requirement to do so.
-
Have you viewed the shared link in an incognito window to see how it displays? You are seeing it as the owner as when viewing it Dropbox knows its your image as you are logged in.

Dropbox are very, very, strict on not giving access to accounts - there are lots of cases on here where they've refused to do so. Ultimately thats a good thing as if not anybody could pretend to be a user and get their data. All you can do is contact Support and see if they can help. If they cannot then your only other…

If it says it exists it means there is already a Dropbox account using that email. So you need to log on to that one (use www.dropbox.com/forgot if you cant remember the password), log on and either delete it or change the email on it to a different one. You will then be able to use it on this account
-
Only if they are linked because one is a paid for business account. If not you need to sign out and in to swap.
-
If it's giving the option to do so, I'd say yes, it will work - it's just an administrative change more than anything else. My guess here is the help article is outdated (which is quite common)
-
You need to contact support. https://help.dropbox.com/account-access/lost-email-access
-
There is no way to do this I'm afraid - what I'd suggest is making sure that you have some plans in place for somebody to take over your account and set up future payments as and when the time comes.

Hi @"Rmorris8" This seems to be the new sharing model that Dropbox are using. Note that nothing has actually changed in the file etc. and you cannot actually edit it unless you do "Open In" and choose Word Online. However, I totally agree that it looks clumsy and, well, messy.
-
It will be taxes. If you want to swap to a plan via the website you need to let Dropbox downgrade via the App Store (cancel it, wait for it to downgrade) and THEN upgrade. If you want to just change to yearly there should be an option for that in the app store.

Are you using the full version of Windows or is it the tablet version/mode? If its the tablet version you cant - you need to be using and running the full version with file explorer etc.

Sounds like that has happened - this happens if they detect spam/viruses etc. It does sometimes do false positives though. You need to contact support at…

Do the files still exist within your account? Can you create links to files not inside of Paper?
-
They dont lock you out. You can use it without restrictions as long as you stay under limit. Once over limit they simply stop syncing, but, you can still log on and view what is already there.
-
Refunds are only given where legally required. You will need to send in proof of cancellation. You will need to contact Support at www.dropbox.com/support and ask for help.

Sometimes when things are blocked by Admins the messages are not clear. It would be worth asking the Team Admin. The other thing to consider is clearing cookies/cache etc. and then trying again
-
Has your Team admin blocked this from being allowed?
-
I think you are going to need to restart, unfortunately. Transfers usually are quite quick
-
It sounds like either the account is linked to a Business Plan, old Google log on OR has been banned / removed for some reason. You are going to need to contact Support via www.dropbox.com/support. Make sure you arent logged in to anything, including here, and then go to that link.

Some promo space is time limited, its possible it has expired now
-
If it says email taken have you done a reset on www.dropbox.com/forgotten to try and log on using a reset password?
-
You need to do it from https://app.hellosign.com/account/logIn I believe
-
They did inform people - there were lots and lots of emails and popups on the web page about it with directions to read FAQ's about the upcoming changes: https://help.dropbox.com/installs/macos-support-for-expected-changes

Hi @"HexaJay" It sounds like you hadnt download the files and made them offline in Dropbox before moving to iCloud. As they are all 0byte files it sounds like they are empty placeholders rather than actual files. I'd suggest abandoning and trying again with downloading first
-
You cant rename the Dropbox folder. But it should auto sync with the Windows folder as long as you havent changed any settings. You may be able to use the 'Move Dropbox' commands to do this instead.

Do they open if they are outside of the Dropbox folder? Have you tried a repair of Office 365?
