Hi @"TuttoSpam79" You cannot add tax details to Plus as Plus is a consumer product not intended for businesses. All info you can amend and update is listed here: https://help.dropbox.com/billing/customize-edit-invoices
-
It cannot be a mistake. You need to contact your card company and tell them your card has been used. If you did not do the transaction somebody has the card data. They need the card, secure code and access to things like your postcode to do it. It isnt a mistake.

I dont belive it is possible, no - its a service I use lots and the official way to change where it saves via cloud is to install the software and change the save location (https://www.pfu.ricoh.com/imaging/downloads/manual/ss_webhelp/en/help/webhelp/topic/ope_cloud_save_imagedata.html)

Yay! No idea why nobody is replying from Dropbox though 😞 @"Megan" ? @"Jay" ? @"Hannah" ?

All customers, especially business ones, should (or rather would) have some sort of Business Continuity Planning in place as well as multi-site backups so that should one site lose all access to everything (e.g., Dropbox), it is recoverable and restorable from another service. As has been said you need to log a ticket and…

I've discovered you can remove the shares via the mobile app @"Kateymw" and @"hilpara" . Not ideal but at least its a work around!
-
@"Megan" - any ideas on this one? I've just had about 10 Team folders appear in my Dropbox saying I added them when I havent (they were historic folders that were inside of a Share I had previously). As with others it isnt letting me leave them as they are a Team folder. I havent joined any Team

You cant modify how Dropbox produces links I'm afraid. All I can suggest is trying to mask the link via something like Bit.ly ?
-
Have you control clicked?

@"hh67" wrote: Thank you! Very much. Do you know if there is a way I can transfer all my data og Dropbox Password to my existing Dropbox account? Or do I do that manuelly? Komd regards H You would need to do it manually - hence my suggestion of going the other way (free -> paid and then cancelling the paid one).
-
Have you opened the preferences menu of the Mac app and clicked on to 'Account' and signed in on the personal one?
-
Hi Lars I'm afraid your understanding is a bit mixed up - there is no link between folders in other locations and Dropbox. You need to work on the files and folders in Dropbox for them to sync with Dropbox. Note that they will not then copy back to other locations. The best thing to do is to move things from your other…

@"vjh4290" wrote:Plus googling change thumbnail on dropbox video comes up with instructions on how to do it on the "Share" page. But I don't find it. Thats when you export to other services such as WeView - you are changing the thumbnail on that service, not Dropbox links
-
It isnt possible to combine or merge accounts, so, you will need to do that manually. Your best bet may be to move everything from the free to the paid account and then cancel payments on the paid account. Info on passwords is here: https://help.dropbox.com/installs/how-to-use-dropbox-passwords

As you have joined a Team - thats part of a Business set up. As for how to leave I'm not sure sorry 😞 Hopefully somebody can help tomorrow. I'm going to join this with another thread with same issue as that makes it easier for support to see.
-
The way to contact support is at www.dropbox.com/support WHILE NOT LOGGED IN - even to here. However, they wont circumvent it. You set up 2FA to stop people gaining access to your account without the credentials to do so OR the codes to recover. The whole point of 2FA is to do this. Allowing somebody to just remove it puts…

Is it a Team folder? If so you may need to look at it via a different way, or, get work to remove you: https://help.dropbox.com/organize/team-folders
-
You have to have accepted it at some point as Teams (same as Shares) cannot just be linked without approval. Have a try at using https://help.dropbox.com/organize/team-folders
-
Hi @"tankbar" Have a look at https://help.dropbox.com/sync/access-files-offline

@"Kristian001" wrote: I don’t have that phone anymore wiped it and sold it Then you need to use the recovery codes given when you set 2FA up. If you didnt keep them safe then you cannot recover your account I'm afraid.
-
You could look at some recovery tools which may scan the computer, but, they are not very reliable once a device is re-formatted. The formatting process is designed to be destructive and wipe a drive. As for tools you could use I'd suggest a google, but, in the mean time the relative must stop using the computer completely…

Zip files are not editable via the Dropbox web interface. They are only previewable: https://help.dropbox.com/view-edit/file-types-that-preview#File-types-that-preview-as-a-zip-file https://experience.dropbox.com/en-gb/resources/how-to-zip-files
-
Team folders are not shared folders as such - they operate differently and have different setups and properties. Did you ever 'join' the Team? If so does https://www.dropbox.com/team/decide this help?
-
No, they are not recoverable at all via Dropbox I'm afraid - because he was over his 2GB limit Dropbox didnt sync them. As the messages would have said on his machine and via email all syncing stops once you hit the limit. Simply put Dropbox doesnt know they exist - they were never ever uploaded to Dropbox. Same with any…

Are both still showing as linked at www.dropbox.com/home ? If you add a file to your personal account does it show online and online where you can see the business one if you toggle between them?
-
@"Kristian001" wrote: I dunno just when try login sends text too a number no longer active so can’t login The only way to change 2FA (which is what sends a code to your phone) is to have the device or the emergency recovery codes given upon set up. There is no way, at all, to get around this.
-
Youve not said where they are not clickable - as that isnt a Dropbox issue. Dropbox just make the links - it doesnt add it or make it usable in Word or Outlook etc.
-
My guess here is that he is editing the file on a folder outside of the share OR Dropbox on his machine isnt running. Check if he is updating and editing the file that he can then see it at www.dropbox.com/home. If not check Dropbox is running and where he is opening and editing it from - it needs to be in the shared…
-
You will need to share it with them. If you send a link it is read only and they access it via that link everytime they need it. If you add them to the folder they can add it to their own Dropbox as long as they've enough quota - your files will use up their quota.
-
Hi @"nate22" It isnt possible to change the owner of the root directory of Dropbox - that would mean you couldnt access anything. You need to move everything in to one folder and share that if thats what you want to do (its probably also easier than sharing lots of folders)
