HI @"dmjdona", thanks for the details. In order to look into this matter in more detail, I'd recommend contacting the support team directly for them to investigate further.

Hi @"ltpace610", just to be certain, the events page is completely empty, meaning that you have no files added, edited, or deleted within the last 30 days visible, is that correct? Are you certain that you're logged into the correct Dropbox account, and that the files aren't in similarly named folders on another account?
-
Okay, so the link you're referring to is one that you click on from the Dropbox site, and not from the desktop app, is that correct? Are you using the Open button feature, which is closely related to what you're describing?
-
HI @"shelley241", as your queries might be account or device-specific, I'd recommend contacting the support team directly for them to assist in further detail.

Hi @"pyxye", thanks for bringing this to our attention. When you save files using WPS Office, are you saving the files in the Dropbox folder, in order for the Dropbox desktop app to sync it to your Dropbox account online? This will help me to assist further!
-
Hi @"guilhermesv", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Do you recall where you changed this setting originally? Are you able to see any options in the Dropbox desktop application preferences? This will help me to assist further!
-
Hi @"Francois4", that error message should be unrelated to the device limit on your Dropbox account. Could you try an advanced reinstall of the app using the steps in this link?

It's possible that this is what caused the issues you're experiencing, since if the Dropbox folder can't be detected by the desktop app, then unexpected issues could occur, such as data corruption, permission issues or even data deletion. In this instance, there were selective sync conflicts, and you mentioned that your…

Thanks for the details, I've removed the email for your own privacy and security. Are you certain that this was the same account you've always used to log in, and not another very similar email address provided by the school? Are there any other email addresses you could've used to log in to Dropbox? Do you see any recent…
-
Hi @"jakebrew", thanks for the info. Please could you forward that email to abuse@dropbox.com in order for the team to be made aware of what you received, and in order for them to investigate further. Thanks for reporting this interaction you had earlier.
-
Hi @"lokimac", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Did you make any recent upgrades to your Mac device, or use a migration program? Was the external drive with the Dropbox folder on it disconnected at some point while the app was running? This will help me to assist further!
-
Hi @"mhuang45", thanks for bringing this to our attention. As you mentioned you used the Google SSO to sign in, are you using a Gmail account, or another domain in general? Do you have any other devices that could be logged into the old Dropbox account? This will help me to assist further!
-
Hi @"Mattflix", thanks for the info. Did you have another Dropbox account that was connected to a Dropbox team, and then link this personal and work account using these steps? This is because your Dropbox folder would've been changed to Dropbox (Personal), hence my question. The 'Dropbox' folder with the arrow most likely…

Hi @"Soo Li", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Could you try to open the shared link yourself on an incognito/private browsing window (meaning you're not logged into any Dropbox account) and see what options you get? There should be an option to log in to a Dropbox account, however, beneath that prompt, there…

Hi @"squips", thanks for the suggestion! This should help other users who have similar queries and are looking for an answer for their requirements.
-
Hi @"sarahberry9", thanks for the images. Just for clarification, is the site not displaying the folders in alphabetical, and numerical, order? I'm not sure I can see where 2025 comes into play when you're showing a screenshot with 2022 and 2023 folders. If you could provide more detail, this would be greatly appreciated!

Have you recently made any changes to your phone, such as a recent Android OS update?
-
Is this occurring for all files you're attempting to export, regardless of the size? Do you have any proxy, VPN, firewall, security software, or even ISP/router settings that could be restricting traffic to the following Dropbox domains?
-
What happens when you attempt to save the file using another app from the previous options you had there?
-
If you choose one of the other apps there, does it save a copy of the file itself, or a URL file again? If you tap 'Options' under the file name, what do you see there?
-
Thanks for the info. Could you try marking the files as available offline in the Dropbox mobile app first, and then try exporting them to your device?
-
Hi @"RoryP", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Are you certain that the full file is being downloaded? If a URL file is being downloaded, then it could mean that a shortcut to the webpage, or the webpage itself, is being saved instead of the file. Could you try testing to save the file into the iOS Files app, and…
-
Could you clarify what you're trying to do when downloading files? Are you trying to export the files to another app or to the file system on your phone, or something else?
-
Hi @"Agressive_Napkin", thanks for bringing this to our attention. It should be possible to convert HEIC files once they're uploaded to your Dropbox account using this feature. Does the camera upload feature automatically upload the heic files when you select the album you want to upload in the settings? This will help me…
-
Hi @"Mikeylectro", @"bennymac", thanks for bringing this to our attention. If you're not on a Dropbox Basic plan with more than 3 devices connected, could you first try clearing the cache, and then uninstalling the app, rebooting the device, and re-installing it to see if this helps? Keep me updated with any progress!
-
Just to check, have you removed all your shared links on this page? Do you also have any open file requests? These also contribute to the daily limit for data sharing.
-
Personally, we wouldn't recommend moving the system folders that way, as it could lead to unexpected events such as permission issues, corruption or data deletion. If you were to move the folders that way, it would be at your own risk since this isn't officially supported by Dropbox.

Hi @"bers", is it possible that the file you're sharing gets a lot of traffic, or is quite large and lots of people download it? In general, your access to shared links is temporarily paused for 24 hours for the first instance, which could've been that time a few weeks ago that you mentioned. Each time your links are…
