Thanks for the feedback, currently, there wouldn't be a method to determine why the InDesign documents work differently between your setup and the other user's setup. It's possible that all users on that team are using File Provider, meaning that all Dropbox folders are located in the CloudStorage location, regardless of…

Thanks for the details, in order to look into this matter in more detail, I'd recommend contacting the support team from your team account directly for them to investigate further.

Hi @"JHSEsq", thanks for posting today. Could you let us know from which page you're trying to delete the file? Would it be possible for you to copy and paste a screenshot in your next reply, while hiding any personal details, in order to understand what you're seeing? This will help me to assist further!

Thanks for the info. It sounds like you're using a team folder to share files and you and the other users are on a Dropbox team. As there isn't a suitable solution we can provide for your situation, I'll leave this thread open for other users to contribute their suggestions.

Hi @"Hebephrene", thanks for messaging the Community! You can mark files and folders as online-only by right clicking them and choosing the 'Online-only' option. You can do this in bulk by selecting the entire Dropbox folder itself and marking it as online-only, and also make online-only the default for any new files added…

Hi @"jobee2", thanks for messaging today. In general, we do recommend using relative paths when needed in formulae and other documents, since Dropbox folders rarely exist in the same location on multiple devices. However, as you've noted, InDesign can't use relative paths, which rules out that option to resolve the issue…

Hi @"tom d.31", the information we received from our specialist team is that storing the Dropbox folder on a network drive isn't a configuration we officially support, so we’re unable to troubleshoot the issue you're experiencing. To resolve this, they recommend moving the Dropbox folder to a local drive. In the meantime,…

Just for clarification, are you on a Dropbox team, or are you using a personal account? For Dropbox team admins, they can change these early access/beta settings for the team by following these steps.

Hi @"Yaseen2", thanks for messaging the Community. Could you let us know what plan you're currently using when accessing Dropbox Sign? How large are the files you're trying to upload to the site? Any other info or screenshots, while hiding any personal information, would be helpful.

HI @"MarkDawes", could you try temporarily quitting the Dropbox desktop application, and then try to navigate the Dropbox folder and let me know if the issue persists?
-
Just for clarification, are you dragging the Dropbox folder to the sidebar, or the Dropbox app itself from the Applications folder? Could you paste a screenshot of what you see when trying to drag the Dropbox folder to the Favorites bar?
-
Hi @"Ben S.31", thanks for contacting us. Are you renaming the folder on the Dropbox site or in your local Dropbox folder? How many files do you have in the folder you're renaming? Are you certain that the files are resyncing again, or is the app instead reindexing the files? This will help me to assist further!

Could you try temporarily disabling BitDefender and then reinstall the Dropbox desktop application to see if this helps?

Do you have any proxy, VPN, firewall, security software, or even ISP/router settings that could be restricting traffic to the following Dropbox domains?

In order to use a Dropbox Advanced team plan, the licenses would need to be actively used, as this plan isn't intended for personal use.

Could you try downloading the Windows offline installer from this page and see if that helps?

HI @"Group Sec", thanks for the info. If the committees need to meet separately, and have their own agenda and policy responsibilities to review, then there is no other option but for them to have separate shared links to different folders. As we can assume that none of them have a Dropbox account, this means that sharing…
-
Hi @"Susan D.11", thanks for messaging the Community! I would agree with @"Mark", as personal accounts don't get any extra benefits when linking to a Dropbox team account. If you want both your Dropbox team accounts to sync to your computer, then you would need separate computer profiles/logins with a different Dropbox…

Hi @"MegRunsTam", could you try using Force Quit to exit the Dropbox desktop application, or try using these steps my colleague suggested to exit the app. Once done, try following the rest of the steps to reinstall the app, and let me know how it goes!

Thanks for the suggestion. We appreciate the feedback on this matter and we take all comments into consideration when improving the Dropbox desktop app and services.

Hi @"Merill", there should be an option to mark the folders as offline. Could you copy and paste a screenshot in your next reply showing the context menu items of when you right click a folder?

Hi @"MegRunsTam", thanks for posting today! Just for clarification, are you on the latest Mac OS update for Dropbox, using File Provider? Is your Dropbox folder located in your user folder, or the CloudStorage folder? This will help me to assist further!

Hi @"ErnieDee", thanks for posting today. This icon means that this is a shared folder on your Dropbox account, so other members can access it directly from their own Dropbox accounts. Are you sharing the folder to their account directly, or are you sharing a link to the folder? This will help me to assist further!

Hi @"Mattsson", thanks for bringing this to our attention. After some brief research, I can see that there are similar errors from other password providers when trying to import CSV files into Keychain. As this error message appears to be related to Apple Keychain, and isn't related to Dropbox, I'd recommend checking with…

If you have no evidence on your Dropbox account, or in any emails from Dropbox, showing that you were sent files, then it could mean that you didn't receive anything from a user using the Dropbox interface. As you can't contact the sender of the files, there wouldn't be any other way to determine what was sent to you, and…
