Is your entire Dropbox folder 25GB, or have you removed folders and files through selective sync or by making them online-only to bring it down to 25GB? Also, which version of Dropbox are you using? You can hover over your Dropbox icon to see that info.

Dovresti riuscirci cliccando con il tasto destro sulla cartella Dropbox e impostandola su "disponibile offline". Puoi provare e farmi sapere se funziona? -------- You should be able to do that, by right-clicking the Dropbox folder itself and switching it to "available offline". Hey Gerardo, can you clarify what you mean by "Synchronisation only takes place for the files I open"? Do you mean that after moving your Dropbox folder to the external drive all your files are set to "online-only"?

This is quite a strange issue indeed, @"Jazdude". What if you open the link from a private browsing/incognito window, without being logged in to your Dropbox account and download the file that way? What happens then?

Thanks for the info, @"Marc von Amsberg". Does the Dropbox application on that computer sync files as normal? What do you see about your backups when you click on the Dropbox icon in your system tray? And are all the entries about the backup in your first screenshot referring to that PC?
