I was really happy to help, Yuriy! If you need anything else, let us know. Have a wonderful Friday! ☀️

Thanks for checking that, @kobushi. To be honest, if this all happens within the Excel app instead of the Dropbox app, there's a chance that this might have to do with Excel rather than Dropbox, but we'll definitely get to the bottom of it. Which version of the Dropbox app are all these devices using? This can be seen in…

——Hi there, @으니루 thanks for posting to the Dropbox Community. Just to make…

I completely understand, @Juxedo, it does sound very frustrating, but we'll get to the bottom of it. Can you send me a screenshot of that yellow alert bar you mentioned? And just to confirm, you're only getting this behavior when updating/uploading files from the local Dropbox folder on your computer, right? How about the…

No worries, Jeff, I'll try to explain things as best I can! Since the current account that uses the Gmail address has obsolete files, all you need to do is upload (add) your updated files to it. You mentioned that you've already copied them to your Documents folder for safekeeping. Can you now try to upload them to the…

Thanks for checking, @gzag. I reached out to you via email to the address linked to your Community profile, so we can investigate this. See you there!

Hey @tedbear27, sorry to see that you're having an issue with your referral. I moved your post to this relevant thread, I hope that's okay. Using the same network is probably the issue here, but I just sent you an email, so we can take a closer look. Just get back to me when you have a chance!

Hey @RTM, if the iMac was working fine, there wasn't a reason for the files to be moved out of the Dropbox folder, as syncing is a computer-specific process. How is syncing on the iMac now? Still stuck? Can you hover over the Dropbox icon in the menu bar and let me know exactly what the message is there? As for the Mac…

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, @kobushi. We haven't had any reports about this, but let's see what we can find. If your updates didn't get saved, can you try to copy them somewhere locally on your phone and then try to delete/reinstall the Dropbox app to see if it helps? Also, what is the iPad OS version of the…

Hey @kupepe, thanks for taking the time to post about this issue and for the additional info you provided. I moved your post to the relevant thread and wanted to let you know that our engineers are aware and still working on this. We'll update you as soon as we know more.

Thanks for reaching out to us, @andygefc. I just sent you an email, so we can take a closer look at this. Just get back to me when you have a chance. Thanks!
-
Thanks for letting us know about this, @Area51. 👽️ As a first step, can you take a look at our system requirements and make sure that your computer has the correct setup for the Dropbox app to work? Let me know and we'll go from there.
-
Thanks for the update, @TeamPhil. Would you mind sending me a screenshot of that email you received, so I can take a look? Just make sure you hide any personal info, like your email address.
-
No problem, Yuriy! I just replied to your email and I'll see you there!
-
Hey @gzag, thanks for posting to the Dropbox Community. I'm sorry to hear about your file. When was it deleted exactly? Do you see the deletion event in your events page? Let me know.
-
Got it, @Kjacobs01, keep me posted!
-
Thanks for the update, @Juxedo! Regarding the 500 MB limit you mentioned, I'm afraid there's no way to change it. Now about the following: When creating a new Office file/or saving another version of an already open office file onto Dropbox - the file is not set-up for collaborative working (the AutoSave toggle in MS…

Thanks for letting us know about this, @earthlingJen22. Are you having the same issue when trying to download files using our website as well? Are you using the Dropbox app on an iOS or Android device? Can you try clearing the app's cache to see if it helps? You can find steps on how to do so here. Let me know how it goes.
-
Hi there, @TeamPhil, thanks for posting to the Dropbox Community! From your description of the issue, it sounds like you might have a second Dropbox account, but let's investigate to confirm if that's the case. Can you check your account settings on the Dropbox website from your PC and the "account" tab in the Dropbox…

No problem, @Weatherguy! If you need anything else, let me know. Have a great day!
-
Hey @Juxedo, thanks for your post! Just to make sure we're on the same page, you're referring to the collaborative Microsoft Office editing feature described here, right? As a first step, can you take a look at the article I linked above to see if the entire team has the appropriate system requirements and settings for the…
-
Thanks for taking the time to post here, @SanaNelson. I'll make sure to pass your feedback about this to our team. We really appreciate your comments. I did find this idea that's similar to what you're suggesting and there's a recent update on it, if you'd like to check it out. If you need anything else or have any…

Could you please send me the link to the thread you're referring to, Alan?
-
Not a problem, @YuriyH, I just re-sent my email, but if you cannot see it again, you can track it from the support page as well.
-
Sorry to see that you're having this issue, @Alan030. And thanks for looking into it and trying some troubleshooting as well. Have you tried downloading the file while connected to a different network, if possible? I just want to see if that will make a difference. Let me know how it goes.
-
Got it, @RTM, let me know how it goes when you have a chance to try things out and we'll go from there!
-
Thanks for the additional info here, @akotsko. I just wanted to give you some details and clarifications on this issue. So, the Dropbox app operates passively when it comes to files manually placed within the Dropbox folder, which means that it syncs any changes or file system events as they occur. To our knowledge, as…
-
Thanks for checking that, @RTM. I think the fact that you don't have any Dropbox control-click options, indicates that the app itself is not working as expected, so that might be the reason for the way the files are syncing. That means that you'll probably need to uninstall and reinstall it, to see if it helps. One more…
-
Hey @ckassianides, sorry to hear about this. When did this issue start happening? Is it recent or has it always been this way? Which version of the Dropbox app are you using and what is the sync status? You can see that by hovering over the Dropbox icon in your taskbar. Also, what is your Windows version?
-
Thanks for the update and the additional info, @Chbattle! Let me know how it goes!
