Hey @"Lyn14" - sorry to jump in here, but could you clarify if you're previewing the file on the Dropbox website directly or if you're opening it through the Excel integration instead?
-
Thanks for keeping me in the loop on this @"gbonawitz" Would it be OK if I sent you an email to look further internally at this point?
-
Could you also send us a full page screenshot of where you're spotting the icon @"Kevin-54"?
-
You should be able to see the option that allows you to save your screenshots to Dropbox in the app's preferences under the backups tab @"dukiebluedoc" If you choose to reinstall the app and give it a go, let me know of the outcome!
-
Only the files and folders that are stored in your Dropbox folder will be affected by this as the desktop app will sync your changes, Michael. I hope this clarifies!
-
Hey @"dukiebluedoc" - sorry to hear about this. Have you tried disabling the feature through the app's preferences? Let me know and we'll take it from there, Caroline.
-
Hey @"anaheimu" - sorry to hear you're having issues with this. Can you please let me know if this happens with all of your uploads, namely even if you try to upload only a single, small file? Are you getting stuck at a certain page or are you getting any kind of errors? If so, I'd appreciate a screenshot too. Thanks!
-
Hey @"Kevin-54" - sorry to hear you're having issues with this. This orange box icon comes from One Drive not Dropbox. Are you 100% sure you completely removed it from your computer? Let us know more and we'll take it from there.

Hey @"Pocket Merlin" - thanks for joining our Community! Just to make sure we're on the same page, are you referring to Dropbox Paper on the website or maybe the mobile app? Let us know more and we'll take it from there.
-
Hey @"Old_timer" - thanks for the nudge on this and your patience while I looked into this internally. All I can say at this time is that this error is related to our connecting processes and that our team is currently investigating. We'll let you know more as soon as we have an update.

Hi there @"Avocado-Mike" - thanks for using Dropbox and welcome to the Community! When you say you already store those files on your computer's hard drive, are you referring to your Dropbox folders or another locations perhaps? If it's the former, the deletions will be synced across your devices and the website too. I hope…

Hey @"Pavel_G49" - sorry to jump in here, but could you try creating a new OS profile or start your device on Safe Mode and let us know if this persists? If you have any antivirus or firewalls or VPN/proxy settings on your computer, you can temporarily disable them as well.
-
In that case, would it be OK if we sent you an email to have a further look internally @"ReddEmpress"? Otherwise, you can reach out to our support team from your end via this form. Just make sure to use an incognito window without signing into any Dropbox account and fill in all the relevant information.

Hey @"Lyn14" - sorry to jump in here, but could you clarify if you're seeing this behavior with only this specific file or if it's affecting others as well? Does your spreadsheet contain any macros by the way? Any additional information is more than welcome!
-
Thanks for the nudge on this @"ee22" Could you let me know if you notice any difference in the Recents area if you log into your account through another browser? Also, where do you usually access your files from? Is it locally on your devices, through the website or via a 3rd party app/integration?
-
To un-link your account from the app's preferences, you'd need to click on the Sign out button in the 'Accounts' tab @"gbonawitz" From there, you simply log in to your account anew. Let me know how it goes!
-

Does your collaborator see their changes on the shared folder if they navigate their account from a web browser @"WhyDoHumansNoLongerExist" ? Also, can you clarify if the app is stuck at syncing the exact same number of files for a while now or if it's progressing at all?
