Hey @"LEGER", thanks for posting on the forum! Is it OK if I open a ticket for you, so that we can check your Dropbox account? Let me know.
-
No problem at all. If you need something else, I’ll be around the Community.
-
Hi @"Vitor_Amorim", sorry for jumping in here. Just to clarify and narrow down the issue, can you let me know if you’ve also tried an advanced reinstall? If so, did it seem to help at all?
-
I’m glad to hear the issue’s fixed for you, @"ansarmiento"! @"Grizzicle", in case the issue persists for you, can you also check these supported browsers, and let me know what happens?
-
Hey @"Bryan L.12", I hope you’re doing well! If I get this right, you’re having trouble accessing the files on your Dropbox web account, correct? Can you let me know what steps have you tried so far, so that I can suggest something else perhaps?
-
Welcome to the Community, @"JuanHernandezITNEXT". At the moment, I’m afraid it’s only possible to link two Dropbox accounts, if one of them is a Business one and the other one is personal (Basic, Plus, Professional, or Family). What I can suggest though, as a workaround, is accessing both of your Dropbox accounts via…

Hey @"Henning-And", thanks for posting on our forum today! Was this file shared with you by someone else perhaps? Have you received any relevant emails by Dropbox stating that another user would like you to access this file? Let me know what you find.
-
Hi @"SDD76", and sorry for jumping in. If you’ve unlinked the unknown device from your Security page, I’m afraid it’s not possible to see more details. However, if you’re still concerned about the security of your Dropbox account, then I’d definitely recommend enabling two-step verification, as well, as an extra measure of…

Hi @"Ameelcurtis", thanks for posting here. First off, I’d like you to send me a screenshot of what you see exactly, after clicking on the “Manage backups” option. Have you also visited this page on your web account? If you wish, you can also send me a screenshot of what you see there, as well. Let me know.
-
Hi @"klang999", welcome to the forum! Can you send me a screenshot of the exact error message you’re receiving, so that I can have a visual? Let me know when you’re ready.
-
You’re all set! I’ve logged a ticket for you, so that we can check this together. Please reply back to me, when you’ve got some free time. Cheers!
-
Thanks for the screenshot, @"Oma5"! Can you try renaming the file showing in the error message? Does the same error persist after that? Besides that, I’d suggest contacting the support team of Kobo, so that they can investigate this on their end, since this is related to their integration, and not directly the Dropbox app.

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all doing great. From what I’ve been informed, this issue should now be resolved for all users. However, if someone is still having trouble with their Paper docs, please let me know, so that I can investigate further. Thanks!
-
I’m to hear you were able to figure this out, Denys! If you need something else, you can always give us a shout.
-
Hey @"ansarmiento", thanks for posting about this here. If you try to open an incognito window on Firefox, instead of Chrome, are you still having an issue logging in to your Dropbox web account?
-
Hey @"PDub81", I’m sorry to hear the issue’s back. If you want, I can open a support ticket for you and investigate this further. Let me know if that’s alright.
-
No worries at all! You can check this whenever you have some free time.
-
Great news! I’m happy the issue’s resolved now. If there’s something else you need, give me a shout!
-
Hey @"Cinbor", I hope you don’t mind me jumping in. If you’d like to have some files/folders hidden and you’re on a paid plan, you could perhaps use Dropbox Vault and move them in there, so that only someone with the PIN you’ve set can access them. If you have further questions on the feature though, give me a nudge.
-
No problem, Elijah! In case you haven’t already tried these steps, can you give them a go and let me know if they help? Aside from that, did you receive a receipt from Apple after purchasing your plan?
-
Hey @"HPR1", apologies for jumping in! Can you also send me a screenshot of what you see here and here, so that I can have a visual? Do you have any external drives perhaps that may be backed up to Dropbox? This feature is different to computer backup, so this could be a possible explanation why this is happening. Let me…

Hi @"Erica F", I hope you don’t mind me jumping in. Have you also checked your Events page? If the file’s been deleted, you should be seeing the relevant event there. Do you also remember when was the last time you were able to access it approximately?
-
Hey @"debbiemaycry", sorry to hear about this, and I’m glad the emails stopped shortly after. If this happens again, give me a shout and I’ll investigate further. Cheers!
-
Thanks for the extra info! It really helps. Is it possible to send me a screenshot of what you see on your end, when trying to preview one of your PDF files on your phone (preferably one that isn’t password-protected)?
-
Hi @"kevin_shkfjh12324", sorry to hear you’re having the same issue. Can you let me know what’s the current syncing status of your desktop app, as well as its app version?
-
Hi @"adamvnz", I hope it’s alright if I jump in. I’m glad to hear you were able to access your Dropbox account, after all. It’s expected to receive these prompts every now and then; however, you shouldn’t need to to complete them multiple times. In case this happens again, let me know and we’ll take a closer look.
-
Hi again, Carol! In order to see this option, you’ll need to click on the name of the file on https://www.dropbox.com/home, and click on the button showing on @"Rich"'s message. If you still can’t see the option to watermark your files though, please send me a screenshot of your Plan tab. You can attach a screenshot here…
-
Hi @"aaronlacy", I’m sorry to hear you’re facing the same issue. Is this happening for all types of files, like other users have mentioned? Also, does the same issue persist on different browsers/incognito mode?
-
Do you remember any filenames perhaps or keywords that may help us investigate further? I know this is about photos, so it‘s a long shot, but it’s worth a try.
-
Glad to hear that, @"hselling"! If you need something else though, you can always give me a shout. Cheers.
