What is the Dropbox version and what does it say if you mouse over its icon on your status bar?
-
The second email must be on the other account, so, you need to log on to that account (use www.dropbox.com/forgot if you are unsure of a password) and EITHER delete it or change the email on it. Then you can use the email on the account you want to.
-
But what are these changes @"clientreleases" ?!
-
Oh no @"clientreleases" You've started posting again minus changelogs
-
You cannot not register it. The Events log is automatic and not changeable. The only work around is to delete a file and then permanently delete it - that doesnt show in the Events log, however, everything else will.

Have you actually logged in to your account and set it up on the device yet? Those options looked greyed out as the system isnt running yet. Make sure you are logged in, set up and syncing and THEN set it up. OR uninstall completely and reinstall and use the advanced options to set it up as you go.

You will almost certainly be charged on Sunday. If you do not want to pay for the plan, especially if via Apple, you need to tell it to downgrade today (as the iOS store rules say to give 48 hours notice). You will keep the space until the end of the trial but if you dont do that you WILL be charged and as per the terms…

Once its at 12 months the data is automatically removed - as thats what is in the T&C's. There would be huge legal issues if they decided to randomly keep some peoples data when they said it was removed. Sorry 😞

Hi @"mrw2" Unfortunately without access to the email you cannot get access to the account. Also, if you set up 2Factor security and do not have the log on details or secure codes Dropbox wont over ride that - they've publicly said this lots of times. When its set up you are warned to make notes of the info etc. and told it…

They cannot be on the cloud if that page shows they are deleted unless they were in a second location and so the ones you listed were deleted elsewhere.
-
Hi @"TobyBaz" Unfortunately as they were deleted over 30 days ago its not possible to recover via Dropbox - even upgrading wont work as recovery windows are not retroactive. The only hope is seeing if the files are still on the old device at all.
-
Hi @"mark_urq" Have you also deleted the old iPad connection? If you are reinstalling its possible its trying to set a new connection up rather than using the old one already there.
-
If you are a free account there is no such thing as an Admin for it - its simple people who are users with accounts. That means you have no control over anybody elses accounts and they dont over yours. The only thing shared would be folders you share between people. So, if you want to set up a new structure and share with…

Dropbox is installed on local internal drives - it does not work on flash drives. Remember Dropbox was designed to replace flash drives. It isnt designed at all to work with them - and trying to do so will almost certainly cause data loss. If you want to save a file to Dropbox and then the flash drive you need to save it…

Hi Sorry what you are looking for isnt possible. Dropbox creates a folder on a local device. Work needs to be in that to sync to the cloud - it, however, does not have any link at all to any other device or location. So updating files inside Dropbox will sync to the Dropbox cloud (and other computers running Dropbox), but…

@"Brandon9" wrote: This update is going to break all of the file paths that we have tied into different things. Does anyone know if there is a way to completely opt-out of this update, or a solution so this update won't break our file paths? Thanks. Unfortunately not - you can postpone for 30 days but not opt out.

Once an account is removed for breaching terms of service it is not possible to restore them or the data within them: https://help.dropbox.com/accounts-billing/settings-sign-in/disabled-accounts.
-
If you now own the business does that include emails etc.? If so log on and change the password (and maybe set up 2FA?). Or, get them to provide the log ons etc. to the account and then log in yourselves and change them 🙂 You can also unlink any devices they have at www.dropbox.com/account/security.
-
Dropbox does not automatically delete files I'm afraid @"Tod1907" and no, there is no recovery either - you have to remember Dropbox is storing billions of files and the cost and storage needed to keep extra would be astronomical. They'd also be on dodgy legal grounds if they said data is permanently deleted and then it…

Hi @"Ashton W" It isnt possible to create an account with the same email - the one already in use has it and you cannot have two accounts with one email. Why dont you just log on to the accounts already created? That way all the files etc. are already there.
-
The only way to find out is to check emails for messages from no-reply@dropbox.com Dropbox support wont be able to find accounts unless you know the email. Also, please note that unless you logged in within the past 12 months the account would have been deleted for inactivity.
-
Hi @"IrisConsultingNE" Yes thats correct.
-
Hi @"davidferleger" Not sure how this is related to Dropbox? You are probably better off asking on Apple forums
-
Hi @"ECB" Have you made sure Dropbox is running? Restart it from the Windows menu or reinstall from www.dropbox.com/downloading.
-
What does www.dropbox.com/account/plan show? Please also remember that the N26 promo space is limited to 12 months, so, it may have expired now.
-
Hi @"hazrate agha" Shared content use up the quota of everybody in it. If you do not need read/write access to the files ask the other person to send you a link instead.
-
Actually I've just seen a few people mention it online - usually there is a clause in promo space that www.dropbox.com/gs has to be completed, have you done that yet?
-
Hi @"Larry Sessions" Thats not an offer I've seen mentioned anywhere before. Do you have a copy of it? Where was it?
-
@"DanielleHR" without access to the security codes there is no way at all to get access to it - ultimately that is the whole point of 2FA (to stop people without access to the device getting access). There may have been work arounds if it was a paid for business account at the time but that wont work now retroactively. If…

You cannot install the software on other drives, but, you can move the Dropbox folder via the advanced installation option.
