I believe Dropbox changed shared links recently so that they are not based upon the folder structure they are in, however, I'm not 100% sure on this and as such I'd be tempted to trial it in another folder directory first because IF they do change you cannot restore old links.

Upgrades are charged however you upgrade, so, my guess if you upgraded via an app store and therefore you agreed via the T&Cs to pay for the upgrade via that system after the trial. You need to ask Dropbox (or the app store) about a refund and these are only given where legally…

The ban is automatically removed usually after 24 hours on a first infringement. Or you can pay to upgrade and have it removed earlier. If you've had previous bans, however, each one takes longer to clear.

Activated backups? www.dropbox.com/backups Or, we need more info as to where this is happening
-
Hi @"kw9" The limit of three shouldnt be an issue. If you had that number already set up when the rules came in then it didnt stop any working - it just meant you couldnt add more, or, even reconnect ones that you remove. In terms of your files what does www.dropbox.com/events show?
-
Hi @"mcuttler" My guess here is that the folder structure OR file name contains illegal characters to windows (such as . , ! / ; etc.) Check for and remove those and hopefully it should appear. On the Win10 device you can also mouse over the Dropbox icon and it should give you a clue as to what errors its finding
-
Hi @"PatTok" No, if you delete in Camera Uploads it will only delete in that directory. It wont delete anywhere else.
-
@"bleedeex" Dropbox only work Monday through Friday. I'd not expect a reply until middle of next week I'm afraid
-
You need to have a look at https://help.dropbox.com/account-settings/dropbox-family-age-requirements and contact Support.
-
All Dropbox plans are viewable at www.dropbox.com/plans Also note that it is against the T&C's to have multiple people using 1 log on - accounts can (and do) get disabled and all data deleted for this
-
Dropbox only refunds where legally required: https://help.dropbox.com/plans/refund
-
@"bleedeex" You may want to contact other people who had copies, look in your backups etc. to see if they still have a version because it sounds very unlikely Dropbox can restore it. If its not on those places you have already checked its 99.99% certain its not recoverable via Dropbox.

The one work around I could think of would be to create an iPad account per device and just share the folders to that device that is needed e.g. ipad1@hahah ipad2@hahaha etc. And instead of using selective sync to restrict use sharing to do it.
-
Hi @"Admin2020" No there is no way to do this. Simply put because the idea of Dropbox is that its single user per account (its actually against T&C's to use it otherwise and can/does cause accounts to be wiped without notice). So, from a Dropbox point of view there is no security issue because person A on computer is same…

The application is only paid for if you give it your card. It is totally free before then. See https://help.dropbox.com/plans/refund for refund info.

@"Jay" wrote:Hi @"L0", I've merged your post to this thread to keep similar feedback together. Out of interest @"Jay" why? Why are some posts merged and others not allowed to be merged? It seems to me like there is no rational to this (or rather its a way of hiding well requested updates).

@"carldagostino" wrote:if someone invades my computer , gets in desktop, they can get into my dpbx merely using icon, so not safe to use icon, always log into dpbx with passwrd, never post icon ? You need to contact support for assistance: www.dropbox.com/support. This is a public forum where account issues cannot be looked at. Note, however, that refunds are only given if legally required: https://help.dropbox.com/plans/refund
-
@"demonboy" yes thats exactly how it has to be done I'm afraid.
-
Hi @"ghostdog72 " You need to download them to a device and reupload them to whatever other service you wish to use. Dropbox itself does not have any sort of file transfer tools/systems available.
-
On the old devices are you giving it time to sync all changes through? That can take time especially on devices not regularly used.
-
Accounts are removed after 12 months of inactivity. Unfortunately there is no way to recover accounts deleted this way. Аккаунты удаляются через 12 месяцев бездействия. К сожалению, нет возможности восстановить удаленные таким образом учетные записи.

Dropbox backups? www.dropbox.com/backups
-
I'm afraid that this is a user supported forum. Nobody here can help. The only people who can are Dropbox support themselves: www.dropbox.com/support.
-
Nope, you are still able to upload fine. You've not actually said whats happening though so nobody can really help. My guess is something has changed in Recorder Plus which is causing the issues. Have you spoke to them? Uploaded to newest version etc.?
-
Refund requests need to be directed to Dropbox support at www.dropbox.com/support. For more info see https://help.dropbox.com/plans/refund and note that refunds are only given when legally required to do so.
-
If you paid via GooglePay then Dropbox cannot, at all, refund you. You HAVE you get the refund via GooglePlay. My guess is that they are holding you to the T&C's around how long you have to claim a refund.
-
@"KRABHERU" - it cannot I'm afraid as has been said. You can only have 1 owner of a shared folder at a time.
-
Hi @"Bill C.42" As @"Hannah" said it will continue sync'ing from where the connection dropped (to the nearest 4mb). Thats how the desktop client works.
-
Hi @"rochallor" Its not actually anything to do with Dropbox the issue - Dropbox acts just like a tool to transport things, so, Dropbox has done what its supposed to do and got the files on to your machine. My guess here (and I strongly suspect it will be accurate) is that on the new machine you've not installed any…
