Yes it is 🙂 Just share the subfolder - the only thing to watch is if the parent is also shared it may not work - this is plan dependent, but, you are told this when you go to share.

Its almost certain you will not be able to I'm afraid: https://help.dropbox.com/account-access/lost-email-access Visit the Support page while you're NOT signed in to a Dropbox account, including these forums, and you'll see an option for Sign-in issues. It's best to use an Incognito or Private browsing session to make sure…

Hi @"RJWriter" First thing to check is that Dropbox is running on all devices and not reporting any errors - mouse over its icon on the status bar to see what it says. Next thing is that they are ALL using the exact same email and log on. A good way to test that is to add a file (a photo say) and see where it appears. In…

Why? We need more info. Whats the error etc.?
-
How exactly do you mean? If you mean on a different PC to what it was initially installed on, no. Thats because the install usually creates things like registry keys and files elsewhere. This is aside from copyright issues.
-
So what exactly is the issue? Dropbox is a folder on your machine like any other. Simply make sure everything is 'available offline' and drag it out of the Dropbox folder if you want - same as you'd do on any other folder etc. Theres nothing else to do.

@"Robert Paterson" wrote: can someone please advise how i can lodge an official complaint to dropbox , as i am getting no satisfaction via the chat option Simply put. You cant. There is no such escalation procedures of systems, unfortunately. Yes. Aware its madness. However, this is from experience 😞

@"misterhank" wrote:No/ I don't think I permanently deleted it Was it a shared folder? If so you need to rejoin it at www.dropbox.com/share

You need to contact Dropbox support direct. This is a public forum so nobody here can help. Note that unless legally required refunds are not normally issued: https://help.dropbox.com/plans/refund

How long ago did you delete the files @"Z3TA4" ?

@"benhum" wrote:I'm looking at the current (UK) pricing page: https://www.dropbox.com/en_GB/plans Has the description always read "As much space as needed, once purchased"? Yes - it means that you cannot get extra space if on a Trial. However, I suspect it is going to change soon.... maybe worth getting screengrabs now!?

If the link isnt working the owner has removed you, or, changed it. Ask them for a new one AND make sure you have space available - if you don't it may not open on your account
-
Being honest here @"Collection-of-Letters" Dropbox support dont seem to know what they are doing as every person who messages is being told something else. It may be worth trying again and see what happens.

Will Dropbox install on the device? www.dropbox.com/downloading

As wary as I may be of giving word, full access via my iPad, presumably (as I’ve been using Dropbox and work together for many years on my MacBook) I must have already done so on my laptop at some point? So my iPad…

Can you see them on the Dropbox website? What if you download to a computer? How large are they?

You dont need a link to access your own files @"junaidiqbalshaikh" - just navigate to it via www.dropbox.com/home

@"geeveff3" wrote:I realized I was out of space so I've upgraded my account but I'm still unable to access any of my old photos. How can I fix that? So if you are out of space syncing just stops. @"TylerTheHanson" wrote: Any plans for those features for better file sharing? Dropbox doesnt release road maps I'm afraid 😞 I suggest that you create a thread requesting this is added, however.

Sounds like Dropbox on computer 1 isnt running OR is showing an error. When you are home check for its icon on the status bar (near clock) and if it is there mouse over it to see what it says. If it is not there relaunch it via the Apps/Start menu

What happens when they click on it? We need a tad more info here

@"nikhilkp" wrote:Hi,i have the same problem after clicking on redeem from myasus app it installed dropbox app and told me to signup and after i signed up ,there is no 500 gb space .It shows only 2gb Have you done the rest of what is needed and completed www.dropbox.com/gs ?

Hi Yes the 30 days record doesnt apply if something is permanently deleted - by that all record of said file (events etc.) is also removed. The ONLY info available is https://www.dropbox.com/account/security. Nothing else is stored / kept.
-
@"DannyJPN" It is easy enough to upgrade between plans so you could always go with Plus and then if needed upgrade to Pro. Its a bit more difficult to go down as you need to wait until your payment for the plan has finished before it will change.
-
Hi @"penostrosa" There shouldnt be a link between Google and Dropbox so you should be OK but you could always try with 1 first? 🙂
-
The Dropbox folder on your computer is a folder like any other. Just make sure whatever you want is set to 'offline access' and copy/paste or drag/drop as anything else.
-
What exactly are you trying to do and we can try and advise? If you are wanting to have Dropbox automatically move files and photos to another directory or folder then this isn't possible I'm afraid.
-
Dropbox does frequently send out emails like this and given the URL is to a Dropbox.com domain I'd say it is legit
-
Hi @"AWei" 1) if the files are permanently removed they disappear from both Events and Deleted items. Files are recoverable for 30 days but only if not permanently deleted. If they are there is no recovery. 2) the only info about the device is what you see on that page I'm afraid. Dropbox has/stores no other info. I assume…

@"LK10" wrote:you also said the reason we might not find is because it was permanently deleted. How do you permanently delete a file? https://help.dropbox.com/delete-restore/delete-files Once a file is deleted click on 'show deleted items' and THEN delete them a second time. If this happens they do not show up in events…
