Have you tried simply restarting Dropbox? Often a pause and restart of Sync will work. Another thing to try is dragging the offending file out of the Dropbox folder, wait for it to sync to green tick and then replace.

Yes thats correct. The limit is 250gb When you send a file request to somebody they do not need a Dropbox account at all.
-
Dropbox changed it earlier this year, which isn't really unreasonable - lots of other services would delete as soon as you arent paying.

The limit has nothing to do with their quota its a restriction based upon your account (Plus). Plus file requests are limited to 2gb as per this help article. To get higher than 2gb you'd need to upgrade to Professional.

Dropbox doesnt do promos I'm afraid. However, if you have a credit card have a look at if they do any cashback type promos. My Amex card often has a percentage rebate for Dropbox purchases.

I'm afraid nobody here can help - the only ones who can are Dropbox support as they can access the account info

The only people who may be able to help are Dropbox support. However, they often will not give access to an account without access to the email I'm afraid. You can contact them via http://www.dropbox.com/support

I suspect its because you are on Dropbox Plus if I am honest. The ability edit PDF's requires Professional, Essentials or higher: https://help.dropbox.com/view-edit/edit-pdf

Admin Console only apply to Business Users with multiple licences. Can you post a screenshot of the error so we can see whats happening?

If they arent uploading it means they've previously been uploaded. If you try going in to the Personal menu on the iPhone then Camera Uploads you can change when uploading starts from, that may work.

LB3444 wrote:It is shared from the same account/ exact same link I used before If it isnt showing at http://www.dropbox.com/links then the link isnt from the account you are logged in as. So, if the link is still working its coming from a different account.

No there isnt, sorry.

Can you try via here or here?

Hi @"ReneeHuntley11" That almost certainly sounds like you've taken out a Business Plan - all of which come with a minimum licence of 3 users: That would mean that the price point and payment is correct. You can check what your subscription is at https://www.dropbox.com/account/plan

I dont believe there is anything you can use other than the official Dropbox one you already mentioned. If the files are local (i.e. all downloaded and saved locally) you may be able to run a tool on the folder structure instead but given the quantity you are talking about I assume thats unlikley.

You wouldnt need to install something it would be a setting within the browser.
-
Is something clearing your cookies on your browser automatically? That could cause both issues for you :)

The blue 'Allow Downloads' option means they CAN download - its toggled on at the moment. If you click it and it goes grey then they would be able to view it on website only and there would be no 'download' button showing. However, that option is a paid for feature.

I'm not sure this is an API question actually, but, what version of Dropbox are you using if you mouse over its log on the computer status bar?

How did you rename them and if it was on a computer did you give it time to sync? Do you have enough space on your account? Can you see them at http://www.dropbox.com/events

steefff wrote:how can I change that I'm not the 'owner' and I have not to updrade? If you need read write access I'm afraid you cannot. All users within the share use up quota. If, however, you just need read only access ask for a shared link instead and leave the share.

Have you tried reinstalling the app? Its possible its out of date now and so cannot connect: http://www.dropbox.com/downloading
-
Unfortunately yes, its very likely that you you've lost access. When you change the 2FA account you have to confirm the information to make sure that it worked. It isnt possible to do so without doing that. You are also forced to download backup codes when doing so via the website - and confirming you have done so. These…
