Dont use the user agent actually use a different browser (Chrome for example).

Can you try clearing cache and cookies? What version of Safari is it? Oh and does it work on another browser out of interest?

Does right clicking on it work?

Fab, that makes sense. So, personally what I'd do to tidy this all up a bit is move everything to a new directory maybe on your desktop (so create a new folder, something like 'Dropbox temp'). Put all of the files/folders you want from both account into this new folder. Log out of Dropbox on your machine and then delete…

Yes :) The Offline Sync is machine specific so you can work it however you want across whatever devices you want. Another option could be to look at Selective Sync (again machine specific) to totally remove directories you dont need on certain devices - so I do that with Music on laptop as it syncs to my phone from…

How exactly do you log on and work this @"Ruud-J" ? As it isnt possible to have two installs of Dropbox running and working at the same time the way you are working this is going to be important.

Offline files would move them to cloud only and download as and when you need access to them. So, as an example, I have about 750gb on my Dropbox but its only using about 60gb of HDD space

From experience as they get so many applications they are usually very strict on the rules and do not give or allow alterations to the policy or rules set down - which they have to do to keep it fair for everybody. Literally thousands of people apply for these posts. If you are graduating in the right time scale in the…

If its not letting you I dont think it will work. Dropbox isnt designed to work on external drives due to the huge, and real, risk of data loss. For example if the drive disconnects, or connects after Dropbox launches it can cause it to be seen as a mass deletion. There are safeguards in place for this, but, they dont…

Sounds like Dropbox has done an update to the software and is just setting things back up - possibly moving to the new Cloud location structure. Yes these are legitimate messages so just approve :)

Have you done an Advanced Reinstall?

Hi @"rforster262" You can delete backups at http://www.dropbox.com/backups In terms of files you can do this yourself at http://www.dropbox.com/home OR the Dropbox folders on your computer. There isnt really a way to search by date produced etc. so its going to need to be done manually by you.

Just create new folders and move them :) Dropbox wont reupload photos at all - its a one time only upload so even if you delete some it wont reupload :) I actually have just yearly named folders within my Camera Upload directory that I move things in to for exactly this reason

Why? What happens? Whats error etc.? We need more info

The best and easiest way I always find to do this is just install Dropbox on machine number 2 (i.e. the MacBook Pro) and let Dropbox sync everything itself. It will take a bit of time, but as long as you dont have huge amounts of data its fine :)

I am not sure there is anything that can be done here as plans are not transferable. All I can suggest doing is contacting support at http://www.dropbox.com/support to ask for help. OR send a shared folder from the account that will downgrade to the one which is upgraded to move all data over to it quickly. That way you…

It should just move to a second screen. No popup blockers installed? No anti-virus/malware software? No ad blockers or things like little snitch?

Simply put, no it isnt unless one of the accounts is a paid for Business account. If this is the case you can then link a Business and a personal one together. The only other work around is to have 2 user account log ons to the device and swap between those when needed - so install Dropbox twice, once on each user log on.
