Without access to the email it is unlikely you'll be able to do so I'm afraid - unless you have a device already logged in. You need to go to www.dropbox.com/support while not logged in - even to here and ask for help. All support is at www.dropbox.com/support - but you need to make sure you are doing it via one of the accounts logged in that is paid.

So, Dropbox cannot alter files - if they are appearing corrupt they were uploaded corrupt. One thing to check is that they are local versions and not online-only files, which can cause issues. Hi @"TC55" You need to ask that the company remove you note they must not delete you. Then you will be removed and downgraded back to a free account at which point you can re-upgrade. The only people who can do that though are the business themselves. 

Unfortunately you can only have one or the other - iCloud or Dropbox on a folder. So, if you want Dropbox to do it you need to download them all locally first and disable iCloud.

Sorry to hear of your loss @"MotherOfTheGroom" How long ago did she pass? The reason I ask is that whole accounts are wiped after 12 months of inactivity meaning if nobody was logging on in that time the data would be wiped which is irreversible. 

No issues as such - and dont seem to have seen any reported on here. Out of interest are all your files/folders on internal drives and within the \Dropbox folder? i.e. no symlinks or junctions being used?

There is no email submission available. If the site isnt submitting try a different browser or make sure that all add ons are disabled and clear cache and cookies etc. 

They should get am email with notification if its a link, however, many many ISP's block Dropbox emails unfortunately. You are much better off copying the link and pasting in to your own email - that way you also have proof of sending should it ever be needed. 

If there is not showing any version history available at all on the file it hasnt been edited in over 30 days on Dropbox. Is it possible you moved it / renamed it / relocated it? Dropbox sometimes doesnt link moves together easily. Have you checked www.dropbox.com/events to see when it was last edited? 

I wouldnt delete it, but, you should be OK to empty it 🙂

I am also on a Mac and find the sorting infuriating as well - how it can sort different across all different folders! There is a way of resetting all and starting it again from a Terminal command. And thank you 🙂
