Oh I do hope Recents is being hidden @"ernstMreicher58". Now wouldnt it be lovely to know if this was intended behaviour via a changelog, or, actually a bug?! Hmmm.....
-
I can assure you it wasn't marked by Rich or myself. We have an unwritten rule that we don't mark posts as solution. It was marked as solution by the person posting it (i.e. A Dropbox employee) so it bounces to the top and stays there, as I said, and for no other reason.
-
Been doing some checking as that post marked as solution is, well, not one. Been told it's been marked as a solution just to keep it up at top where people will see it. I've no other information than that.
-
You've not given us any information to work on I'm afraid.... So, you need to rename it either on your computer if thats where you are having the trouble via the normal way of doing it (Google if youre not sure), or, by clicking on the white space next to the file name at www.dropbox.com/home and then clicking on 'Rename'…
-
Then you need to add the extension back via a rename and all should work :)
-
Does the file still have the extension on the file name? E.g. 'My book' wont open in anything, but, 'My Book.docx' will open in Word.
-
The result would be : Folder renamed Folder 2 deleted AS WELL AS ITS SUB FOLDERS (i.e. File2.txt) Dropbox is a syncing tool. So whatever happens on one device mirrors to all others.
-
It looks legit, but, is possible that somebody has used the webchat feature while logged in to your account / accidentally user your email when starting it. You can forward on suspicious emails to abuse@dropbox.com and ask for help.
-
No there isnt I'm afraid. It is (annoyingly), however, a commonly requested feature.
-
Why? What happens Redshadow? We need more information here - remember we cannot see over your shoulder.
-
The only ways to gain free space are via www.dropbox.com/gs and www.dropbox.com/referral. I have to say though I'm not 100% sure if these include Business accounts.
-
No there isnt Frankie, as unfortunately has been said in this thread.
-
You mean *IF* anything has changed surely? :o)
-
This is via the website patariro999.
-
It is included, yes, but, I have seen people get confused previously by the wording of the shared folder error messages when trying to accept a share that is too large for their account
-
As its the same version Gaabriee please also log a ticket. Before you do that though please check that you have actually left that share at www.dropbox.com/share as it could still be sitting on some quota.
-
Drat. Was going to direct you to the thread for that official build, but, it doesnt exist! Can I suggest logging a ticket at http://bit.ly/cm-support and maybe copying in this threads URL? Replies may take time, especially as its a bank holiday weekend but you can track at http://dropbox.zendesk.com
-
If you mouse over the Dropbox icon on your status bar it'll tell you the version number (e.g. mine is 23.4.19).
-
Are those quota's from www.dropbox.com/account AndyL? Which version of Dropbox? Also, have you checked you have enough hard drive space?

-
I'm moving this to API forum as you'll need to fix the issue in your app for it to work.

As per the help article the only thing to do is uninstall the application and use the website. Unfortunately I cannot see this changing.
-
That is correct Wiene.
-
That could have been an older version or a glitch.
-
I'm 99.99% sure thats because that tab isnt designed to show that information. The notification they'd receive would be a small pop up notification on their screen for a few seconds. That notification screen is for larger updates (e.g. 'X shared a folder with you. Accept / reject'). I'm just checking that though now.
-
What do you mean 'tab notifications is empty?'. Sorry. Not quite following :) As an aside maybe an update would help? www.dropbox.com/install
-
They should get the notification as long as they have Dropbox running AND they've turned on notifications within Windows (I assume?) and the Dropbox client itself.
-
I'd suggest thats best as unfortunately it is there app that needs to have the capability to either connect to Dropbox, or, accept files being opened.
-
Are these on mobile apps? If so I suggest speaking to Procreate to ask how they suggest you import files.
