It isnt possible to download any more as it is now built in to the new Paper 2020: https://help.dropbox.com/files-folders/paper/paper-2020-faqs

Unless you have a device already logged in @"cpren" I'm afraid not.
-
You are viewing a thread that is two years old @"miaoreo" . The tab you want now is called 'Backup'.

@"AndSoOn" Or do as the product intended and download and install Dropbox on your device and let it all download in one go without any human input at all. Remember that the whole point of Dropbox by design is to use it via the software from www.dropbox.com/downloading. The website is only intended to be used when people do…

Would this page help? It shows all posts you've made: Notifications | The Dropbox Community

If your account got locked its been closed by Dropbox for breaching its T&C's - that would also be why payments stopped. I'm afraid nobody here can help. The only people who can help are Dropbox support via www.dropbox.com/support - you may need to be logged out or using an incognito window to get options.
-
Yes, you would need to create a new folder, move all the files in to it and then share that with everybody if you them to have that name. But, remember - they can change the name themselves... to anything they want. The reason it keeps the first name given is that anybody, at all, who has that shared folder can rename it…
-
You need to create a totally new shared folder @"greta2" https://help.dropbox.com/files-folders/share/rename-move-shared-folder
-
No, sorry, there isnt. Are you still logged in on a device? Did you set up the emergency text system or not?

Hi Have a look at https://help.dropbox.com/accounts-billing/settings-sign-in/lost-email-access

The message is from Dropbox not the computer.... So, that person has a larger quota than you - hence they can store it. You either need to get more space at www.dropbox.com/gs or www.dropbox.com/plans. Shared folders use the quotas for all.
-
I know @"Здравко" But I've also found examples on mine of folders that are not - hence why I said to go the other way 🙂
-
One thing to just check @"JOfE" is that you've not accidentally shared them with yourself.... when you go to www.dropbox.com/home and find the folder that will tell you how many are in the share and let you remove things etc. One thing to note is that if you stop a folder being shared you lose all file version history of…

Dropbox has always only ever given away 2gb for free without referrals etc. - I think you are getting mixed up with Box.com which I believe does a 5gb free account.
-
No, I dont think it has any native apps as yet - the web pages certainly do not list native ones.
-
Does the offline version work from https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Dropbox-desktop-client-builds/Beta-Build-117-3-356/td-p/499856 ? However, reading some other web pages it looks like Rosetta may be a requirement for install. I cant seem to find any info on that on the help centre, however.

Dropbox cannot alter files at all - it simply hasnt got the capability or capacity to do so. You've not said which files are not opening BUT my guess is the ones starting 6.2 etc.? If you notice the .pdf (or .doc/docx) is missing from the end of the file name, so, the computer doesnt know how to open them. Simply rename…

Я боюсь ты не сможешь. Dropbox не поддерживает встраивание видео.

Which parts in particular @"jordancarter" ? I think for a lot of people they dont 'get' the concept that Dropbox is on their local hard drive and is essentially a mirror to the cloud. I do, however, believe that the new backup feature is badly explained/implemented and causing far too many confusions.
-
Without access to the email or a device already logged in I'm afraid you cannot do anything to regain access.
-
If its not showing any activity on Events I'm afraid they are unrecoverable - that list is wiped, I believe, after 6 months (the maximum recovery window for paid plans). So, as nothing shows there the files are not recoverable via Dropbox. You will need to try any linked devices or your own backups I'm afraid.
-
Do you mean 'no activity' at all? As in the Events log is totally blank? Does anything, at all, show at www.dropbox.com/home ?
-
As its a third party tool you need to speak to Pocketbook I'm afraid

Hi @"David Noone" Delete, or rename the Dropbox on E: to something else and then use the move Dropbox option in the menu to put it on the other drive. Please make sure its an internal one though. https://help.dropbox.com/installs-integrations/desktop/move-dropbox-folder For info if you ever need to do a reinstall again if…
-
Dropbox does play nicely with second internal drives... thats very badly worded that document. I always had my Dropbox folder on a separate D:\ drive when I used Windows. However, its right that it doesnt play nicely with external drives and that should be avoided.
-
The best thing to do is email abuse@dropbox.com with the appropriate links. I've always found them super quick at replying.
-
If you are getting a 404 error the link is either not created right, or, its not being shared correctly. Other errors show when you get different issues. Can you detail the steps you are taking to get the link?
-
You can delete / unlink old devices from www.dropbox.com/account . Click on security and then you should see all devices listed

Is the rest of the Business team still valid? If so the only person who can help is the Admin of the Business team - they should hopefully be able to restore it for you
