Since it says 'Manage backups', it means that something is enabled there, could you click that to see if Dropbox Backup is enabled for that device? If you tap 'All photos' on the iPhone, what options do you get?
-
Please could you attach a screenshot showing your camera settings showing the default photo size you have enabled on your device.
-
Hi @"flyhen", it sounds like you've enabled the Dropbox Backup feature on the Mac, is that correct? This is why files from those folders are appearing in Dropbox. Which folders did you select on your phone for the camera upload feature, since it should be possible to select more than just the camera roll?
-
Could you clarify what you mean by 'standard mode'? By default, images should be 16:9, and Dropbox can't change your images in this manner. It will only upload what is generated by the phone, which would mean the images could be 4:3, and then the original unfiltered 16:9 image is also uploaded. Do the filenames have…

Thanks, I've merged your post to that thread. Please see this reply showing that the issue should be resolved by now. If you're still experiencing this after rebooting your device, please let us know.

Hi @"Ragnar93", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Are the files originally being uploaded with that amount of information, or are they definitely changed at some point to lose all their data? Can you see the version history of one of the affected files? This will tell you which user and device uploaded and changed…

Hi @"oliviabay", just so you're aware, every account has the ability to permanently delete files, though it has to be done manually via the Dropbox site or mobile app, unless you're on a Dropbox team and the team admin has disabled permanent deletion. Regarding your missing files, I'd recommend that you contact the support…

Hi @"PouryaShamsi", when you have a chance, could you let me know more information about this matter in order to assist further?
-
Hi @"Paul D.4", in order to understand this in more detail, could you sort the files by date and attach them together side by side, with the same files in order (since they're blurred we can't tell which is which) so that we can see what the difference is?
-
Hi @"jonasos2001", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Are you using the Photos tab, like in this thread, or are you trying to view files from the normal files page? This will help me to assist further!
-
Hi @"Da1GoodBadGuy", thanks for contacting us. As @"Rich" suggested, it should be possible to make a one-time purchase of 1 TB of quota using the steps mentioned in this article. If you need any further assistance, please let me know.
-
Hi @"smithtim47", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Is it possible that you enabled the Dropbox Backup feature on your device? Have you recently made any changes to your Dropbox account, or signed into a different account entirely? This will help me to assist further.
-
Hi everyone, are you still experiencing the same issue on your devices regarding accessing images via the Photos tab?
-
Hi @"tgreene", when you send a shared link with a edit privileges, this means that people would have to join the folder in order to edit files.
-
Do you take pictures using the built-in camera on your phone? Do you add any filters to your images during the picture taking?
-
Hi @"mrmrtno", this setting is only for new files added to the Dropbox account itself on the site, and not for files that are already there. If you want to make changes to the Dropbox folder, you'd need to right click the folder itself and choose the appropriate option to mark it as available offline or online-only.
-
If you're transferring manually, could you try moving the files from the camera into another folder entirely, and once they're all copied over, move those images into the Dropbox folder?
-
Hi @"Hugo Silva", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Are you using the camera uploads feature, or are you uploading files manually to your Dropbox account? This will help me to assist further!
-
Thanks for the info, have you been using the automatic camera uploads feature on the Dropbox desktop application, or have you been transferring the images manually to your computer?
-
Hi @"yofitofi", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Are you able to see any event history or deleted files on your account? Are you certain that you're logging into the same email address as before? This will help me to assist further!

As some businesses require certain security measures and regulations, they might need their data to be located in their region or country. This is why only Dropbox teams have access to this option. If you are a business that would need this, then you would need to follow the steps in that article to be eligible for this…

Hello @"yu06ko12", Dropbox will sync any files given to it, so if someone syncs a virus, it will be synced to any computers linked to their account or any computers linked to accounts with shared folders containing such files. However, this doesn't actually infect your computer because this simply means the data is on your…

Hi @"SLHSB", thanks for messaging the Community. We appreciate the feedback on this matter. Currently, this option is only available for team plans with these specific requirements, and wouldn't be made available for any other plans. We take all comments into consideration when improving the Dropbox site and services.
-
No worries, I'm glad to hear you were able to resolve this matter. It shouldn't be possible to enable this setting without having access to the admin console.
-
We're unable to view external links for images, could you copy and paste the image in your next reply? Are you certain that the option for commenting hasn't been disabled for the team using these steps?
-
Hi @"Rustle", thanks for bringing this to our attention. We're not experiencing this behavior on our accounts. Could you attach a screenshot or screencast to illustrate what you're seeing? Is this on any Paper document you're using? Are you using Dropbox team or personal accounts? This will help me to assist further!
-
It should take 24 hours for the pause on your shared links to be lifted. You can also try deleting the files that could contain any viruses in them to help with this process.
-
Hi @"famkong", thanks for bringing this to our attention. It sounds like your sharing activity has been interrupted due to the information in this article. Generally, sharing of links would be paused for 24 hours, and subsequent breaches would take longer to resolve. Have you tried removing any recent file that you tried…

Hi @"Keolatina09", thanks for messaging the Community. Could you clarify what you're experiencing in more detail, as I'm not sure what the issue is in this case? Are photos being uploaded from the camera incorrectly somehow? Are you not able to locate them on the site? This will help me to assist further!
-
Hi @"PouryaShamsi", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Could you clarify what you mean by deselecting images? Have you already selected images at one point? A screenshot showing this and which page you're on would help greatly.
