When you say if you download it to your phone, what do you mean by that? Are you opening the file in the Dropbox mobile app, or do you have to mark it as available offline first to preview it?

Hi @"Milesprpic", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Does the link load normally on the Dropbox site, or do you get an error message? Was the link always empty when you opened it on the Dropbox site? Have you tried contacting the company to ensure that they sent you the correct link, or that they haven't deleted…

Just so you're aware, for a shared folder on a team, you can change the permissions for the folder to allow non-members to access the content. If you need any further info, please let me know.

Is this a shared folder or a team folder you're trying to share? It might be restricted to members within the same Dropbox team .

Hi @"noragoddard", if you're seeing the 'larger' folder, which would be the parent folder on the shared page, then this means that the parent folder is the actual shared folder. You can only remove that parent folder from your account. You can't selectively 'remove' subfolders from within a shared folder, since this would…

However, there should be other apps and services that can detect duplicate files, after connecting to your Dropbox account. I'll leave this thread open for other users to comment…

Hi @"DCulton", thanks for messaging the Community. There are two features here you've mentioned, which have different functions.
