Could you try using Safari in private browsing mode, without any extensions running, to see if this issue occurs again?
-
In general, when you upload files manually via the Dropbox mobile app, the current date and time are used. As you used a different method for the JPG images, this changed the way it was added into the Dropbox account.

Yes, we're simply reinstalling it while it's installed, just to repair any potential issues in the program itself. All settings will remain the same.

Hi @"azalea4va", to change the UAC, you can follow these steps to see if they help. Keep us updated with any changes.

Thanks for the info. Could you try reinstalling the app without uninstalling it first using this link?

Hi @"Darko G.1", thanks for the info. Try getting in contact with our support team directly by opening an incognito/private browsing window, while not signed into your account, and accessing this link. From there you should be able to contact support. Make sure to enter an email you can access, otherwise the email would go…

Just to check, this is the normal window to save files from the web. Is the window not going away when you click the Save button?
-
Are the JPG images being uploaded using the camera upload feature, or by manually uploading them using the same method you provided?
-
Thanks for the info, could you try the steps in this thread to see if the Dropbox icons appear in the top of the registry?

Hi @"floraup", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Are you inviting them to a team folder? This would force them to join the team in order to view the folder. When you share a normal folder, make sure to allow permissions for non-team members. If you need any further assistance, please let me know!

Hi @"thomashayden", could you copy and paste the screenshot directly into your post instead of via a shared link? Have you tried using a different browser to see if the behavior is different when downloading files?
-
Hi @"arthurtx", if your access has been removed from the shared folder, this means that someone in the folder deleted your access. You'd need to contact the creator of the folder to re-invite you back so you can add it to your account again.

Hi @"Faabbbbio", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Could you clarify how you're uploading these images? Which device and app are you using? This will help me to assist further!

Do you have any proxy, VPN, firewall, security software, or even ISP/router settings that could be restricting traffic to the following Dropbox domains?
-
Thanks, I've sent you an email, please could you reply to it when you get a chance!

How many files do you have in your Dropbox folder approximately on the local machine? Are all the files local, online-only, or some in between?
-
Thanks for the info. In order to look into this matter in more detail, would it be possible to reach out to the email associated with your forum profile?
-
Hi @"fubha", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Did the friend complete all the steps to accept the referral bonus? They would still need to verify their email address on top of signing into the Dropbox desktop application. Keep me updated with any progress!

If you're not on a Dropbox Basic plan with more than 3 devices connected, could you try uninstalling the app, rebooting the device, and re-installing it to see if this helps?

Hi @"megawhite", the amount of RAM and CPU usage can vary at times. Could you let us know what processor you're using, and the total amount of RAM on your machine?
-
Hi @"awss00", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Currently, the selective sync feature will always sync files in the root folder, since it isn't possible to deselect the root folder. If you don't want the root files to appear, you could place them all in a separate subfolder and deselect that new folder when using…

Hi @"syntrak", thanks for the ticket ID. I can see it's been forwarded to a specialist team, who will investigate this matter in more detail on their end. I've added your comments onto the ticket so that they are aware you've been in contact on the Community.

Hi @"aaronpanganiban21", could you provide an example of the end of a shared link you're getting, but change the key itself for your own privacy?
-
Hi @"ALICHIA4", thanks for bringing this to our attention. If you're not seeing the missing files on the events page, then there's a few possibilities as to why this might be the case: * The files are on another Dropbox account * They were on a shared folder you don't have access to any more * The files were deleted…

Hi @"DeWalta", could you attach a screenshot showing us exactly where you're seeing this message?
-
Hi @"RichieRich1891", just to be certain, could you attach an image of a normal file or folder which is marked as online-only, to confirm that the cloud icon appears on non-shared folders?

It does sound like something is affecting the Dropbox site when using Chrome. Do you get similar errors in another browser?
-
Does a similar error occur in another browser? Could you try using incognito mode in Chrome without any extensions running to see if this occurs again?
-
Could you try these steps, namely opening the file in Excel when there is a WiFi connection first? Afterwards, when you go offline, you should be able to edit the file.

Hi @"amcoffice", thanks for bringing this to our attention. We're not experiencing similar issues on our devices. What version of Chrome are you running on your device? How much RAM does your computer have? Does this occur when Dropbox is the only tab open in Chrome? This will help me to assist further!
