Hi @"fendercodes", have you tried the previous troubleshooting steps provided by my colleagues above?
-
Hi @"Karl_1379", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Are you able to recreate the same email address in order to login to your account? This will help me to assist further!
-
Hi @"Champeen Reet", did you try the steps provided by my colleague to sign out of the Dropbox account? Are you able to access the preferences from the system tray/menu bar?
-
Hi @"kristiwatson", if the option to recover your account isn't there, then it's only for two reasons: * The account was deleted over 7 days ago * The contents on the account were transferred to another team member. There is no other reason for why it might not appear. You'll have to ask them to check again to see if the…

Thanks, I've sent you an email, please could you reply to it as soon as possible!

Thanks for the info. Currently, it isn't possible to delete the comments on a video shared via Dropbox Replay. If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.

I've edited the image as posting your details goes against the Community Guidelines. Are you viewing this comment on the Dropbox site, or the mobile app? Is this file definitely in a shared folder? Was this file shared using Dropbox Replay?
-
Hi @"msimon", thanks for the info. Could you follow these steps provided by @"EvanDBX" to contact the support team directly for them to investigate this matter in more detail?
-
Hi @"JT2222", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Do these steps to delete a comment not work for the video that was shared with you? What do you see instead? A screenshot, while hiding any personal names or images would be great. This will help me to assist further!

Hi @"danny81", if the Dropbox icon isn't showing as white (or black depending on your desktop theme) in the system tray, then this means that the files aren't fully synced. This is an easy way to check if there are any issues syncing files on your account.

Could you try using incognito/private browsing mode without any extensions running, clearing your cache and even resetting your browser entirely to see if this helps?
-
Yes, the left hand menu is only for navigating the Dropbox account. To edit the folder names, you need to go to the parent folder in the right window and hover over the folder there.
-
Hi @"Kibrisgavin", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Are you doing this on the Dropbox site directly? When hovering over the file, do you not see the ellipsis on the right, like in this image? This will help me to assist further!
-
Hi @"Schwenck", if you're editing the Word files in the Word for the web app, do you experience a similar issue?
-
What you're looking for isn't currently available with Dropbox. Additionally, you can't have an admin of an account and another user to only have read-only access. Sharing an account would be a violation of the terms of service, and can result in your account being terminated.
-
Hi @"tomikobako", could you try quitting all open applications and anything running in the menu bar, including the Dropbox desktop application, and then try uninstalling the app using the steps my colleague suggested, to ensure no other apps are trying to use the service?
-
Hi @"dennisgaudenzi", all photos means that is scans your entire camera roll to upload those images, excluded images that were previously uploaded. New photos will only upload photos from the moment you choose that option, so no older images would upload, only brand new ones from today onwards.
-
This sounds normal, since the Photos tab only uses the modification date of the file (which is usually the same as the creation date if it hasn't been edited since). What you could try is to search for an app, service or script that can edit files by changing the modification date to the current filename (assuming it's…

Hi @"SLFI59715", thanks for bringing this to our attention. In order to look into this matter in more detail, would it be possible to reach out to the email associated with your forum profile? This will help me to assist further!
-
Hi @"makingscrogan", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Currently, it isn't possible to change the default sorting method of the Photos tab. Do these photos have the correct modification date when opening the file, or a more recent one? This will help me to assist further!

If the context menu item is still missing, then there could be something else device-specific that is affecting its appearance. If the Dropbox desktop application is installed with admin privileges, then all options should be available. Is it possible there are some other security measures which could prevent the option…

Hi @"tobiaspe", thanks for messaging the Community! Could you try using incognito/private browsing mode without any extensions running, and even resetting your browser entirely? Keep me updated with any progress!

Currently, it isn't possible to track the bandwidth usage of shared links on your account. The limit isn't for a single link, but for the entire account, and included repeated listens of tracks. If you're on a Dropbox Professional plan and in one day, your account uses over 1 TB of bandwidth (across all your shared links…
-
Could you clarify what that means exactly? Are you going to be using shared folders, or having them login to your account? Currently, the only method to have two Dropbox accounts syncing in the Dropbox desktop application at the same time is for one account to be a Dropbox Business account, and the other a personal account.
-
Hi @"eapen", by default, there is always a group with all members of the Dropbox Business team, and it cannot be modified. This is to make it easy to add all members of the team to specific folders. If you want the user to just be a member of a new group, you'll need to invite them to a new group. To restrict access to…

Thanks for the update on this matter. Keep us informed on how it's proceeding after uninstalling the app and deleting the Dropbox folder.
-
Thanks for the comments. In general, when syncing files via the Dropbox desktop application, the smaller files are uploaded first, with the larger files done last, to ensure the most amount of files get uploaded quickly.
-
Hi @"TheSwedishKing", thanks for messaging the Community! Are you planning on sharing the credentials for a single Dropbox account to the ten users, or will this be a Dropbox Business team, with each user having their own license for the team? This will help me to assist further!
-
Hi @"miltoros", thanks for messaging the Community. The Dropbox Passwords app at first uses the password for your Dropbox account, as it is linked to your account. For subsequent logins, you'll need other devices to access a prompt to sign in with, or your recovery words. If you have any further queries, feel free to…

Hi @"iggy-man", thanks for bringing this to our attention. The Dropbox site can be used for previewing files, although it is worth noting that there are a few restrictions on bandwidth used, depending on your plan. For audio and video files, there are more limits on the amount that can be streamed per file. If you have any…
