Just to check, does the mobile app contain any of the passwords visible in the desktop version, or is it only new items that aren't syncing across? What happens if you add a password on the mobile app?
-
The Dropbox Backup feature can backup external drives to the site directly. The backup would be one-way and would only be visible from the site.

Hi @"Rebecca_Skillman", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Are you certain that the emails are referring to the same account you're currently using? Is it possible that it's referring to another Dropbox account under a similar email, or another one entirely if it's a shared inbox? This will help me to assist…

Hi @"IMightAsWellBashMyHeadIn", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Could you try switching browsers to see if this helps? Otherwise, you can try using incognito/private browsing mode without any extensions running, clearing your cache and even resetting your browser entirely. Keep me updated with any progress!
-
Hi @"Pinkrunners", I've sent you an email, please could you reply to it as soon as possible!
-
Hi @"crchapin", just for clarification, the email address would be the one visible on your Dropbox account here. If it is correct, please confirm it so that we can contact you.
-
Hi @"drb01", if the file is in a shared folder, then the Badge will only activate if another separate Dropbox account accesses and edits the same file. Using the same Dropbox account on different PCs will not activate the Badge. Just for clarification, are you allowing other users to access your Dropbox account and…

HI @"BG2017", there may be some other apps or services that might be able to assist on this matter. Dropbox doesn't have any specialist apps to assist with distorted videos.

The Dropbox folder is just a normal folder on your computer. When the app is installed and running, that's when the folder syncs to the site. Could you try reinstalling the app using this link and tell me exactly what error you get?
-
Hi @pokerpollack, thanks for bringing this to our attention. If you click on the Dropbox icon in the system tray, what message do you see on the bottom left? This will help me to assist further!
-
Hi @"ai0ia", thanks for bringing this to our attention. The saved information should sync from one device to another. Are you 100% certain that the same Dropbox account is used in the extension and in the mobile app, since this would be the only reason passwords wouldn't sync to another device? This will help me to assist…
-
Hi @"John H1", thanks for posting today! Currently, this wouldn't be possible via the Dropbox desktop application, since online-only files don't reside on the computer, the files need to be downloaded first into the Dropbox folder. You could try downloading the files directly from the site into the external drive, though…
-
Hi @"pgb22", thanks for messaging the Community! Currently, this wouldn't be possible, since every user doesn't have the Dropbox folder in the exact same location on their own machines, and even the names of shared folders can be different if a user chooses to rename it. If you have any further queries, feel free to…

Hi @"Nc22538", I've sent you an email, please could you reply to it as soon as possible. @"Longwayround", would it be possible to send you an email in order to investigate this in more detail?

Hi @"myfirsttech_sg", I've sent you an email, please could you reply to it as soon as possible!

If the files aren't on the events page or deleted files page, and there's no other information on the files being moved, then it means they were permanently deleted. This would mean that even the support team wouldn't be able to recover them, unfortunately. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful on this matter.
-
Hi @"tadamori", we appreciate the feedback on this matter. If the arrows disappear, it's still possible to navigate to the next page by using the physical cursor keys on your keyboard to go left or right. Regarding the comments, are all comments from a file disappearing in one go, or is it a single comment or two from a…

Hi @"DIGI-ONE", if need be, you can try to contact the team to see if you can access the account, and delete it manually if need be. You can do this by opening an incognito/private browsing window, while not signed into your account, and accessing this link. From there you should be able to contact support. Make sure to…
-
Hi @"Samier", thanks for messaging the Community. Currently, only Dropbox Business teams have the option to pay via a bank transfer using a manual invoice. For personal accounts, you'll need to use one of the payment methods visible on the payments screen. If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.
-
Hi @"Josephus F.", if the Dropbox icon isn't appearing on the menu bar, could you ensure that the app is running from your Applications folder? If it is running but you're not seeing the icon, try quitting other menu bar apps to see if the Dropbox icon appears, as Mac OS could be hiding it due to too many icons and not…
-
Hi @"czcante", what happens if you remove that file from your Dropbox folder or account, does it help the rest of the files sync across?
-
Are you able to export a file directly from the Dropbox app to an email by using these steps when you 'Send copy of file' to the email app?
-
Hi @"ImagePoint", I've removed the image due to personal information that was visible. From the screenshot, it seems that the Dropbox folder is in the Locations menu on the bottom left. Could you try accessing it directly, instead of the shortcut you created, to see if the context menus appear when you right click files or…
-
Hi @"JSO", if you're not seeing the missing files on the deleted files page, then there's a few possibilities as to why this might be the case: * They were on a shared folder you don't have access to any more * The files were deleted outside of the 30 day period * The files were permanently deleted Is it possible that any…
-
Hi @"frankjp", it depends on how the images are being uploaded to the Dropbox account. If the automatic camera upload feature is being used, then the files would have the correct date and time from the file. If files are being uploaded manually, then it would have the current date and time. If you're using another app or…

This wouldn't be related to Dropbox, since there isn't any redirection available on the site, so I wouldn't be able to assist on this matter. I'll leave this post open for other users to comment their suggestions.
-
Hi @"AirSearch2023", since you have a different username, this means that you have two separate Dropbox accounts under different email addresses. As you're using a file request link, there isn't a method to have users be automatically redirected back to your site.
-
Hi @"crchapin", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Are you using a public email provider, or a private or business domain for your email address? This will help me to assist further!
-
Hi @"kishan udeshana", thanks for messaging the Community! Currently, there isn't a method to automatically back up calls to Dropbox, you'll need to back them up manually. However, there may be some third party apps or services that can link with Dropbox to do this for you. If you have any further queries, feel free to…

You can try using a shared folder between both accounts to transfer files over. We wouldn't be able to provide advice on using different cloud providers, so I'll leave this thread open for other users to comment.
