Hi @"Cesare Corrado", thanks for messaging the Community. Currently, this wouldn't be possible without a local folder to sync files from. You might be able to create an app using the Dropbox API to achieve what you're looking for. If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.

Hi @"JSheppard42", I'm not sure I understand exactly what you're referring to. Are these shared folders you're seeing, of a shared link on the site? Do you access those other folders using different account credentials? Please clarify exactly how you're accessing both sets of files to assist further.
-
That's correct, when you add photos to a folder that already has a shared link, the link itself will show these new images.
-
A shared link is the best method for them, since it doesn't require them to have a Dropbox account with any quota available. In answer to your original questions, if you add a file to that folder, the link to the folder automatically shows whatever is currently in that folder. Users won't get notified, since they're not a…

Hi @"Josephus F.", just for clarification, are you asking to pay in local currency, or are you asking for a local number in order to receive faxes? This will help me to assist further!
-
Hi @"Tania" Photography, thanks for messaging the Community! How are you sending the photos to users, are you using a shared link to a folder, or a shared folder which is added to their Dropbox account? This will help me to assist further!
-
Hi @"WildGingerSGP", thanks for bringing this to our attention. You can disable the computer backup feature by following these steps. Keep me updated with any progress!
-
It does sound like there is something on your network or browser which is affecting the connection to the Dropbox site, which is why I recommended trying a different network entirely. Could you try disabling all browser extensions and try again? Do you have the mobile app installed on a phone or tablet? Are you able to…

Hi @"James V.1", thanks for bringing this to our attention. The files in your Dropbox account should be in that CloudStorage folder, so I'm not certain what this other folder is. Does it contain any sync icons in it? This will help me to assist further!
-
No worries, glad to have helped out!
-
Hi @"Christian E.9", you need to click on the ellipsis to the right of the folder to get that option to calculate the size, like in the below image.
-
Thanks, keep me posted with any updates!

Hi @"TOBES33", thanks for bringing this to our attention. I've moved your post into a new thread as it was unrelated to the previous discussion. Are these files in random locations in your Dropbox folder, or are they all in one specific location? Is this a private or shared folder? This will help me to assist further!
-
Hi @"Karen1961", if you dragged the file out of your Dropbox folder, then the shared link would be deleted. My colleague suggested restoring the file, which is done via the website. This should restore the old shared link. Dragging the file back into your Dropbox folder, as you mentioned you did, wouldn't restore the link,…

The article I linked previously contains this information. Change the dl=0 in your shared link to a file to raw=1, and it'll preview in a browser.
-
Thanks for the info. Currently, it's only possible to render images and videos from shared links on your account via a browser, and not the shared link to a folder itself.
-
Hi @"RichardP11", thanks for posting today! Are you referring to displaying an image that it located on your Dropbox account? Are you going to be using shared links, or some other method to do so? This will help me to assist further!
-
Hi @"BeachBum1085", if you sign out of the Dropbox desktop application, and then sign into the other account, that account's files will then begin to sync down to your computer. What error did you get exactly when trying to do so?
-
Hi everyone, the issue you're experiencing could be related to the recent File Provider update to the Dropbox desktop application. Unfortunately, syncing Logic Pro library files on cloud-storage services (including Dropbox) is no longer supported on macOS 12.5 or later. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Hi @FuelOn, thanks for bringing this to our attention. Are you connected to a stable WiFi connection? Have you tried using a different network, or cellular data instead? This will help me to assist further!
-
Hi @"rtenny", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Could you try the advanced reinstall of the app again using the steps in this link, just to be certain, since this is the best method of getting the app to run? This will help me to assist further!
-
Could you try this command for the beginning portion of the Terminal prompt?
-
Hi @"JoB76", have you checked my post to see if you have anything that could be blocking the Dropbox domains? Does another computer on the same network have this same issue?
-
Hi @"cruxt", thanks for the ticket ID. I can see that you're currently in communication with a specialist agent regarding this matter. They'll be able to continue to assist you from there on. I've gone ahead and prioritized the ticket to expedite matters on your behalf.

Hi anonymous, thanks for bringing this to our attention. Since the folder and file have spaces in them, you need to add quotation marks (") from before the /Users/ path to after the .lrdata part of the argument. Keep me updated with any progress!
-
That can be done by following the suggestion I made earlier. If we assume your whole team has 10 people (meaning in the default 'Everyone at' group), but the group you want has 3 only, create a group (Finance for instance) and add those 3 members to it. Add that group to the Finance team folder, which should have the…
-
You can use groups to invite certain people to view or edit folders. Any person not a member of these groups wouldn't be able to see those folders at all. Just make sure to remove the default 'Everyone at' group, once you've assigned the group members to the folders, in order to remove the entire team from those folders.
-
Hi @"Richard Anthony", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Just for clarification, are these normal shared folders, or are they team folders (if you're part of a Dropbox Business team)? This will help me to assist further!
-
Hi @"Chemist", are you certain that you're clicking the small Dropbox icon near the clock on the system tray? What happens if you Ctrl-click that icon?
-
Hi @"matteorox", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Is it possible that you're running the new File Provider version of the Dropbox desktop application for Mac OS? The Photos library is no longer supported by Apple for it to located in the Dropbox folder, and needs to be moved. This will help me to assist further.
