Hey @"Thibault26", are you able to open and play the video file on your phone as normal?
-
Hey @"sfemet", would you mind sending us a screenshot of the properties of a file that's showing this behavior? Also, how are you opening and editing the files?
-
Hey @"huyness", @"humb1t" and anyone else having this issue, if you've tried the following and they haven't worked for you, let us know, so we can send you an email, to investigate this further: 1. Use a different browser like Safari, Mozilla Firefox, or Chrome. 2. Clear your browser's cache. 3. Try Incognito Mode or…

Hey @"theeconomist1", with so many subfolders, I assume your entire file count is probably over 300K files, right? Have you tried reducing the number of files, by using selective sync to remove some folders off the Dropbox folder and see if that helps at all?
-
Hey @"mlindner", sorry for jumping in here as well and happy Monday. Are you able to login to your account using a web browser, instead of the Dropbox application? If your main browser is already logged in to a different account, try using a private browsing/incognito window, to login to the preferred account and let us…

Thanks for the update, @"sfemet". Does the Dropbox app sync the changes you make to your files otherwise? If you were to edit a file from your local Dropbox folder on the MacOS 12.7.4 computer, do the changes sync to your account online and your other computer?
-
Thanks for bringing this to our attention, @"LHH". Would you mind sending us a screenshot of the error, so we can get a visual? Also, does this happen only with those particular TIFF files or other files as well? Let me know and we'll go from there.

I completely understand where you're coming from, @"GianvittorioN", and I'll make sure to convey your feedback to our team. If you need anything else, please let us know. Have a great weekend!
-
Hey @"GianvittorioN", thanks for posting here. I'm afraid that if this was a special offer that wasn't redeemed, it wouldn't be possible to reinstate it. If you're looking for some ways to add extra space to yours or your wife's account, though, you can take a look at this page as well. I hope it helps!

Fatemi…

Hey @"rxiang", do you mind sending another reply to that ticket and let me know if you can do so without issues?
-
Hey @"basekidz", thanks for joining the Dropbox Community. When you're given edit access (access to upload/edit/delete files) to a shared folder, the folder needs to get added to your account, thus it will take up space in your account as well. If you just need to upload files to your client's account, they can send you a…

I tried copying the Desktop folder into the app This would be the workaround here, but you'd need to be working on the files directly from within the Dropbox folder, so that all new files and updates sync across your devices.
-
I understand where you're coming from, @"morningjo". I'm afraid it's currently not possible to go back to the older version of the backup feature, however, I will pass your feedback along to our team about it. On the original computer, your desktop folders should have returned back to their original locations, so you can…

Thanks for clarifying, @"SK81"! After you upload your pic, you can select it and you should see a pop-up editing menu with some options: From there, you can select how you want the pic to be aligned (left, center, right) and then click with your mouse next to it, to type your text. I'm afraid that if you add two pics side…

Simply uninstalling or closing the Dropbox app, shouldn't remove your Dropbox folder; would you mind checking, just by closing the app and let me know the results please?
-
Hey @"gem40", thanks for reaching out to us. Is it possible that you're sending your friends "can edit" links instead of "view only" ones? A link with edit permissions, would require someone to login to access and edit the file. Can you try these steps to create your link and let me know if it helps? Cheers!
-
Sorry to hear that, @"bella33". Can you send us a couple of example original names and what they changed to?
-
Happy to clear things up, @"SY8"! If you need anything else, please let us know. Have a great day!
-
Hi there, @"morningjo", thanks for joining the Dropbox Community and sorry to see that you're having trouble. It sounds like your backup was updated to the new experience. Can you access your backed up folders from your account online here as normal? Keep me posted.
-
Hey @"CarnahanT", sorry to jump in. If the database gets updated from your desktop, can you check if the changes also appear on the file on your mobile device?
-
Thanks for clarifying, @"SK81"! When selecting your images to upload to the doc, try selecting both at the same time; they should show up next to one another in the doc.
-
Hey @"Charlie Zhang", sorry to hear about this. Have you checked your spam folder in case the email ended up there? If not, you can also add no-reply@dropbox.com to your email contacts and try again. Let us know how it goes and we'll go from there.
-
Thanks for bringing this to our attention, @"Spillage". What is the size and usage of your external drive at the moment? Also, what is the format of the drive? Let me know and we'll go from there.
-
How about when the app is closed or uninstalled? Does the issue persist then too?
-
Does it work without the workaround? Would you mind sending me some screenshots of the steps you normally follow to do that?
-
Welcome to our Community, @"Antonio30", and sorry to hear about the issue. How did the admin originally share this file with you? Through a link? Or did they invite you to a folder with edit permissions? Also, are you updating the file using the Dropbox folder on your computer? Let me know and we'll go from there.
-
Thanks for getting back to me, Christine. Just to check, if you simply close the Dropbox app and try to replicate the issue, does it persist?
-
Hey @"Adropped", would you mind checking the Dropbox version again? It should look like this xxx.x.xxxx. For example, the most recent stable is currently at 198.4.7615.
-
Hey @"ainmo", thanks for the nudge here. While we appreciate your feedback, can you let us know what issue you're coming across when trying to delete your files?
