Thanks for that, @"Rinconman". Just to check if it helps, can you also turn on accessibility for Dropbox?
-
Thanks for the additional info, @"Rinconman". I'd like you to try something; as a test, try to move a file out of your Dropbox folder, to see if all file system warnings have been affected or just the file locking one. If you try to move a file out of Dropbox, you should get a pop-up warning you that the file will be…

Hey @"benreed", thanks for the additional info. If you simply quit the Dropbox app, and perform the steps you usually do to open the Dropbox folders/files, do you get the same behavior?
-
Hey @"Finnkara2000", thanks for the screenshot. Just to confirm, is the email address this email went to, the same as the one you see in your account settings here?
-
Sorry to hear about your experience, @"tenderfoot". Have you tried reaching out to our support team the way Jay described above?
-
Hey @"ArielSoto", thanks for your post! Are you getting some kind of error when trying to view an embedded video with downloads disabled on the link? Can you send us a screenshot? Thanks.
-
Hey @"williamstan", thanks for the nudge here. Let's see what we can find, so we can get to the bottom of this. In graph 3, it appears as if your Dropbox application is indexing a Dropbox system file; has the sync status changed since or is it still stuck on that same message?
-
Thanks, @"gjdarr1954". If you've restored access to your email address, you should be able to login to your Dropbox account and access your files from this page. Were your files perhaps deleted? What happened to them?
-
Hey @"wa4cbg", if this a brand new installation, this could be expected, depending on your initial choice during the installation about how to sync the files. However, in any case, you can simply right-click on the Dropbox folder itself and choose "make available offline". This option will download all the files in the…

Hey @"shinbeth", thanks for bringing this to our attention. You should have sync icons on your files and folders in the Dropbox folder actually, so let's see what might be happening. Is the Dropbox app running/syncing as normal? What do you see when you hover over the Dropbox icon in your menu bar? Let me know and we'll go…
-
Hey @"Marcus D.9", thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community. And thanks for sharing your experience with us and keeping us updated on the process. Were you eventually able to delete the files? We do appreciate your feedback on this as well and I have passed your comments along to our team. Thanks.
-
Hi there, @"Rinconman", thanks for your post. Was the prompt to lock the file Dropbox related or macOS related? Because the file might have been in the Dropbox folder, but the Dropbox folder is just like any other folder on your computer, just with syncing abilities. Have you tried to do this through your OS instead? Keep…

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, @"obmunh". Do you see the same error when searching for files using private browsing or an entirely different browser? Keep me posted.
-
Sorry to hear about this, @"cento". It sounds like you had enabled the Dropbox backup feature on your computer, before deleting the Dropbox folder. Is the Dropbox application still installed on your computer? Are you able to see your desktop folders here?
-
Hey @"Tripwires", thanks for reaching out to us and for your feedback on this. Indeed, syncing Logic Pro library files on cloud-storage services (including Dropbox) is no longer supported on macOS 12.5 or later. Your files of course won't be lost, but you might need to consult with Apple for more info on how to continue…

Thanks for keeping us updated and for sharing your experience, @"burgundywine"! I have passed your feedback along to our team. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask!
-
Hey @"Machaut2024", you should be able to see the version number, by hovering over the Dropbox icon in your system tray, or in the "general" tab in the preferences.
-
Hey @"Arlyne Salcedo", sorry to hear about this. You can find the backups page here: https://www.dropbox.com/backup/all
-
Hey @"hshupe16", sorry to jump in here! Would you mind temporarily disabling OneDrive, then closing the Dropbox app and reopening it, to see if that makes a difference?
-
Hi there, @"JeremyD", and thanks for joining our Community! Is it possible that the folders you're missing from your local Dropbox folder have been unsynced with selective sync? Check out the steps here, to confirm.
-
Hey @"CICPA-CGA", thanks for reaching out to us. Did these two emails go to the same email address? What do you see under the plan tab in your Dropbox account settings here? Does it show you're still on a trial?
-
Hey @"cachaito", I just reached out to you myself, so make sure to check your emails, when you have a chance. Thanks!
-
Indeed, @"lucadc", our engineers are currently looking into this issue. I've moved our convo to the thread about this issue, so you'll get notified when there's an update. If you need anything else, let us know!
-
Thanks for bringing this to our attention, @"burgundywine". The Dropbox app itself should definitely not take up so much space on your device. Do you have all your Dropbox files available for offline access? Can you tap on "account" > gear icon > "clear cache" and let me know if that helps? Thanks.
-
Thanks for the additional info, @"ale0805". If you go to your backups page on dropbox.com, does everything appear as expected? Do you see all your backups, or are any files missing there too?
-
Thanks for the screenshot, @"T-squared"! I can see a "not now" option in the yellow notification there; can you click it and let us know if it helps?
-
Hey @"lucadc", thanks for reaching out to us. Does the issue in this thread seem like the issue you're currently facing or is it something different? Keep me posted.
-
Sorry to see that you didn't receive my email, @"Angelines". Thanks, however, for the ticket number. It's been passed along to the appropriate team, so you'll be getting a response the soonest possible. Have a great weekend!
-
Hey @"T-squared", would you mind clicking on the Dropbox icon once again and then sending me a screenshot of the window that pops up?
-
Hi there, @"mitja", and thanks for your post. Can you try the steps here and let me know if they help? Thanks.
