Are you sure that error is from Dropbox and not your computer hard drive? If you did a copy command do you have enough HARD drive space? Also, is that a paid for account as space is restricted on free trials - although I'm sure its more than a few TB.

Pleased its sorted. Its important to note that this wasn't a Dropbox issue (this place would be overran with people posting if it was!), however, my guess as its resolved when home is that the files simply weren't given enough time to upload at home before you disconnected/shut down. Its a simple mistake to make but can…

fortinne wrote:Now Dropbox is creating a new Dropbox folder and downloading all of my files. Did you tell Dropbox when setting up the install to use the already created directory? You usually need to do this via the Advanced Install menu options.

These have to be created via the website: https://help.dropbox.com/share/create-file-request

See here.

Whats the issue exactly? Are you not getting the code to enter? Is it failing if you enter it? Do you not have access to the email address to get the code? В чем именно проблема? Вы не получаете код для ввода? Он не проходит, если вы его вводите? У вас нет доступа к адресу электронной почты, чтобы получить код?

Ben S.31 wrote:copy the data via the app and only wait for a sync/check, no copying of actual data. You can do that now. Its how I've always done it and it works fab. The only thing to be careful of is to either do it before you install Dropbox, or, install Dropbox, let it log on and then immediately pause it, replace all…

However, what Id also say is that Dropbox simply isn't designed for hosting - its a syncing tool, not a content distribution system. Dropbox HAVE changed the way links are made or…

Another page which may also work and help is www.dropbox.com/events :)

The family plan includes 2TB, however, it can be shared: https://www.dropbox.com/family

Have you logged tickets for it? What are those ticket numbers?
-
Easiest way is to do it via the Dropbox app on your phone - as long as the file is big enough. Click on the big blue + and follow prompts. Keep the app open while its doing it.

Not for a shared folder, no. If you leave its just removed. If your wife is also seeing that can she rejoin the share OR can she find them somewhere else - often if a cleanup tool is used and hidden files deleted this can cause that.
-
Can you rejoin at www.dropbox.com/share ?

Have you had a look at www.dropbox.com/support ? Or you can ask specific questions here, as well as having a search around :)

Apologies, I missed that - however, I believe its across the whole of the folder. So you should be able to change it at parent level

It isnt possible to set up options on Family Room: people have access to it and that's it I'm afraid Have a look at https://help.dropbox.com/share/share-files-family-plan#familyroom for info.
-
Folders always stay shared unless they are actively unshared - but, it is possible that somebody who has shared it previously has actually left the share without unsharing it. Hence you get the menu options you have. If you were owner you'd be allowed to unshare it, however, as you arent you can only remove from Dropbox -…

Unfortunately the recovery window for a family account is still 30 days: https://help.dropbox.com/delete-restore/missing-reappearing-corrupted-files As the files were deleted longer than 30 days ago they are not recoverable I'm afraid.
-
Have you tried a different browser? Clearing cache and cookies often also works That error is usually a localised one not one from Dropbox.
-
They just need to tap the X or click on the 'close (or exit)' texts to get past this screen. Then it will be downloadable.

@"JoshL1" wrote: I have tried what you have suggested, yet it does not help. You need to contact your bank again. And the only way to speak to support is on the links given. There is no phone support. If you've put in a ticket what was the number?

Your bank should be doing that for you - especially if you say the authorisation has been removed. However, via Dropbox the ONLY way to do this is at www.dropbox.com/support while not logged in if you are not a paying member yourself. An incognito window may be better.
