Hey @"claudiogardosi" - did you get the chance to see my previous response?
-
Hey @"ducsue" - sorry to hear you're having issues with this. Could you please let me know if this persists on an incognito window with no extensions or plugins running as well? If it does, I'd appreciate a screenshot as well. Thank you!
-
Thanks for keeping us in the loop on this @"gunjx" - much appreciated. If you're willing to give this a go, could you try reinstalling the app and let me know how it goes? In case the issue persists, we might need to open a support ticket for you to investigate further with account and device specific information.

I see, thanks for clarifying that for us @"Brizzy" Since the ask outlined there would cover both OSes, I'd suggest up-voting it to show your interest and maybe even share your own thoughts there as well. Note that I've also passed your feedback on to the team too and you can let us know if you have anything else to add.

If you choose to go with the shared links option, your family would just need the shared link to the files or folders you'd like to share @"Tamora672" - no need to log into your Dropbox account or even have an account to access the shared links. I hope this clarifies and please let us know if you have any follow up…

I see, thanks for the update @"MarkDawes" Do you happen to have any 3rd party apps that might be monitoring, backing up or syncing your files running on your computer? If you don't mind, you could also try creating a new OS profile on your computer and trying to install and run the Dropbox desktop app there. Keep us posted…

Did you see any difference after temporarily disabling, quitting or uninstalling those 3rd party apps on your original OS profile @"radicaledward"?

Hi from me too @"candice3" - thanks for the clarification and the screenshot too. I just gave it a go on my end on two different devices and I was able to create the folders just fine by hitting enter after I typed the name. Have you cleared your browser's cache and/or rebooted your computer since you first noticed this?…
-
In that case, I'd recommend creating separate folders for each committee and then use shared links for each of the folders as you go when needed @"Group Sec" Feel free to let us know if you come up with any follow up questions!
-

-
We'd need to revert to email for that @"radicaledward" Let me know how it goes on a new OS profile when you get the chance. PS: If you have any 3rd party apps running on your computer that might be monitoring, syncing or backing up your files, you may want to try shutting them down temporarily too.
-
If that's the case, it means that you must be using the older version of the Dropbox Backup feature @"Guy m" If you'd like to be able to rename your backups, you'd need to update to the new version by following the steps outlined here. I hope this helps a tad!
-

And will these committees need edit access to the shared folders or view only instead @"Group Sec"?
-
The recent build is very fresh so it might be because you didn't reboot your computer and/or quit and relaunch the Dropbox desktop app @"MH19" Let us know of any updates!
