The space should come back instantly unless you in a Team which can take up to 8 hours. However, you will still show out of space until you are below that - so deleting 100,000 files wont change that error if you are still over quota. Another thing to check is if you have set up Backup: www.dropbox.com/backups
-
Have you set up Backups? www.dropbox.com/backups ?
-
There isnt an email address - its all via the website. If its not clicking try using a different browser, or, one in incognito mode. What I would say, however, is if you did not give Dropbox your card info you need to speak to your card provider as your card has been cloned.

-
Have you tried updating the Dropbox app? What version of the app is it (and OS and version on the device?)
-
We need a bit more info... whats happening / errors etc.?
-
Hi @"MultiConstruction" Dropbox Transfer is a one time only transfer of documents. If you are updating and changing things you would need to create and send out a new Transfer to people. They will then need to download it again. If you wanted to have a one time link that people accessed where you could keep things up to…
-
Is it giving an error or anything?
-
Do you have enough quota? www.dropbox.com/account/plans
-
@"Pete R" - that usually means your machine is only capable of running S-mode
-
@"IGOTHACKED1" You need to get your card provider to cancel the card and refund you that way. If they have used it to purchase things here they are going to do the same elsewhere.
-
You need to go back to Quicken and tell them this - it is very, very common that they issue codes which have already been used. This isnt a Dropbox fault its a Quicken one.
-
Yes if you send a link anybody could access it unless you put a password on it? https://help.dropbox.com/share/set-link-permissions. Mind you even in a shared folder the files are only as secure as the people you send them to. They could copy/paste the files to another directory and share them, or, share log ons etc. and…
-
Do they just need read only access? If so why not just create a shared link for everybody
-
Not in a shared folder, no, thats not possible.
-
That is the correct location. Why is it not accepting the code? We need more info here.
-
@"RobertoMaria" They are the same thing 🙂 You use them if you cannot use the device which receives the 2FA codes
-
Dropbox should be uploading in 4mb chunks and restarting for that last 4mb block. So if it failed at 4.5gb it should restart at that point when connection resumed etc. However, I am not sure if the 'online only' setting maybe distorts that? I'd be tempted to leave it local and then once uploaded change it to online only.

@"gordbox" Just as a ref. point this is the article I was talking about: https://blog.dropbox.com/topics/company/dropbox-to-acquire-boxcryptor-assets-bring-end-to-end-encryption-to-business-users
-
@"gordbox" from what I've read Boxcryptor is going to be an offering to paid business users rather than anybody and everybody. So unless you have a DfB account it wont be possible to use it
-
Have you gone to www.dropbox.com/coupon ?
-
I think this is a bug in Apple Ventura OS actually as I'm getting it for lots of different apps at the moment. It started when I updated to 13.1
-
@"Tatiane1" - they can if you have the appropriate set up on your account (i.e. you are a paid business account). For Business level support it is only reasonable to expect to pay for it. The work around is not too cumbersome - simply set up a new one, or, if its a business domain reactive the employees account who has…
-
Have you accidentally set up Dropbox backups? www.dropbox.com/backups ?
-
You can see your own checklist as per links in the help document or at www.dropbox.com/gs
-
@"FadiElGendi" no you cannot. You cannot even link multiple paid accounts if one of them is not a Business one.
-
@"marius_magherca" Dropbox cannot alter them once they've been uploaded, so, if they uploaded fine (and you physically went to the Dropbox website and checked them) then something else has altered them. However, unless you noticed within 30 days I'm afraid they are not recoverable on a free account.
-
That isnt how Dropbox works @"Geri O" If files are on your machine if you click on them on your machine then you double click and open them in the app as usual. If, however, you actually are trying to open via an internet window then it is correct - you cannot open straight in to an app easily. I suspect as you mention…
-
Hi @"FadiElGendi" You can have multiple accounts, yes, however, you cannot use them both on the same app unless one of them is a paid for account (at Business level) - basically to stop exactly what you are trying to achieve.
-
Hi @"atopouzian" What exactly is the issue? How do you know its not uploaded? You are not trying to watch the video via the website are you? If so that only provides a time limited preview of the file (see https://help.dropbox.com/view-edit/video-length). Note that if it wasnt fully uploaded it wouldnt preview at all - or…
