You will need to contact support at www.dropbox.com/support for help if you cannot see them at www.dropbox.com/account.
-
You will need to speak to Apple Support via the Apple App Store help system. You can usually do that via iTunes. Dropbox has no control, or access to, any payments or plan info for stuff via Apple Stores.

@"tmax100" wrote: Or is it because the service is deemed to take place in Ireland ? Pretty much yes 🙂 I'm charged VAT now for most services and products I buy online regardless of where they are based. VAT laws have started catching up with e-commerce.

@"Ani Avanesyan" wrote:thank you, what if you improve the dropbox plus plan? Will this not make it possible to restore files? No. Because the files have been permanently removed. So its exactly that - they have been purged from the Dropbox systems. They are not recoverable I'm afraid. At all.

1) As you can only have 1 Dropbox account per email my guess is that either she moved on to a Business account with them and they wiped the account (because they now own that account - they own everything in that account as its a business, like if they put the stuff on a server in your building) OR they deleted the files…

Hi @"IlCubano1" Let me just check this @"IlCubano1" This is one computer isn't it? And you have D:\Archivi\Clienti where you have files and folders and also you have a Dropbox directory in Dropbox\Achivi\Clienti Is that right? If so its exactly as I said at the start - Dropbox wont, and cannot, see the folder on D. That…

What is www.dropbox.com/events showing?

If it is \Dropbox\Customers\*.* and you add a new folder there it will update to the cloud but nowhere else on the computer. If however, you have copied the \My Documents\Customers\*.* folder to Dropbox and add a new folder here then it will not update to Dropbox or sync anywhere.
-
Dropbox will only sync files and folders inside of the Dropbox directory. So if you add something in to Dropbox or a subfolder it will sync. If its to another location and you've copied files over, it wont.

Dropbox states that its not supported on mobile apps to open Zip files: https://help.dropbox.com/view-edit/viewable-file-types So, unless you had an app that was a third party one doing the actual opening it isn't Dropbox.

How are you trying to preview? Website or app on mobile?

@"Debbiebruno " wrote: Yea I tried that. Does that option not appear then?
-
It does: https://www.dropbox.com/features/productivity/document-scanner/ocr But only on certain paid accounts.
-
Where and how are you downloading it? Note that if it is downloading and opening the file itself is correct and working - so you and the other person are doing it differently. If the file was actually missing a few gb of data you'd get an error and it wouldn't play.

Is Dropbox actually running? What does it say if you mouse over its icon on the status bar? Have you tried a reinstall? www.dropbox.com/downloading

Hi @"Rob727" No, if you delete it from your computer regardless of if its Online or Offline only it will delete from all connected accounts and devices - including people in shares. As others said, when you set to Online Only you reclaim the space after a few days but everything still shows on your device

Can you delete them from www.dropbox.com/home ?

@"Garymitchelle35" wrote: I have tested this myself and it seems apps will keep logging in automatically as opposed to asking for a sign in each time. Yes, you wont need to log in every time, but, you can set pin codes or face ID's to lock the app within the settings menus.

Where exactly are you getting the error? What are you trying to do when it appears?
-
Hi @"duncan620" My guess is you are trying to just drag/drop from iCloud to Dropbox. That will cause issues if your internet etc. times out. You need to download the files locally to your computer/device and THEN upload to Dropbox

@"jjbveld" wrote:I once changed the name of a folder. When I share that folder with someone, they get to see the old name. How come and how can I avoid this? The only way to change this is to start a whole new shared folder. Shared folders will always keep the name they initially had upon sharing. However, its worth…

Have you clicked on the three ...'s as the help doc says?

What is www.dropbox.com/referral_status showing? Note that you have to have sent him a referral AND he has to install it on to a unique computer - mobile devices do not count.

Hi @"DanniViolet" Its like any system if I'm honest - its as safe as you and your devices make it. So, for example, do you have passwords set up to access the devices themselves, have you set passcodes etc. to access the Dropbox app on mobile, is the hard drive on your machine set to use encryption (like most modern OS's…

So Dropbox uploads what is taken on the phone - so at the moment your phone is set to take HEIC pictures. You need to change that to JPGs (note that's not anything to do with Dropbox). Then when you upload to Dropbox they'll upload correctly.…

@"LdeLeon20" wrote:This makes not sense at all especially when Dropbox is advertising that we can DISABLE DOWNLOADS! What exactly is the issue @"LdeLeon20" ? It is possible to disable downloads on Dropbox links. However, on Shared ones which are editable it isn't - because by the sheer nature of them being editable people…

What exactly are you trying to do @"terri232" ? Dropbox has no control over the iPhone itself - it simply uploads what the device takes.
