Hi @"ruffabit2" If the version history and restore options are missing it means that EITHER the folder has been unshared or you have been removed from it. Can you rejoin at www.dropbox.com/share or get somebody to reinvite you back?
-
Yes even if you see the file in the Events list you cannot recover beyond your own limit.
-
Hi When you logged out did you also either delete or rename the Dropbox folder on your device? If you didnt when you tried to log in again Dropbox will realise that theres already an install there and try and use it. Simply put, Dropbox is not designed to do what you are trying/want to do and doing so is going to put you…

Hi @"Kansit" Unfortunately not. Once outside of the recovery window (i.e. 30 days here) they are not recoverable. Thats the same even if you pay. Have you asked the other party if they have copies still? They could have just moved to another directory?

@"DebraV" wrote:Hi thanks for your response. One account is an organisational one and the other is my personal account. I was wondering if there is a way of viewing either one or the other via the pc app. Is there a way to log out of one to allow the other to appear? The only way to do this is set up a second user account…

@"omerzafeer" wrote:I was added to the team not more than 6 months ago. I thought my personal account and files were mine and nobody else had access to them. When you are onboarded to the Team you are told this is the case. Everything that you 'had' becomes the Teams' when you join. Its why you are almost forced to set up…

www.dropbox.com/account/plan and have a check of www.dropbox.com/backups

@"Entenmk" wrote: I have some pictures and a couple documents. Certainly there are other solutions to back those up. Pictures you can do as @"Rich" said, however, for documents the app itself will need to be able to connect to Dropbox, or, you'll need to be able to do something like email it to yourself/save in files and…

@"ctctc" wrote:How do I see a message that I sent to someone, through the dropbox Interface, with whom I shared a folder? Hi @"ctctc" I'm afraid as has been said you cannot.

Have a look at https://help.dropbox.com/share/share-file-or-folder

@"Judge Joyce" wrote: why shouldn’t we be able to just drag and drop from one account into the other? My guess here is that Dropbox is designed and intended that each person only has one account. You are not supposed to have multiple ones. They dont want people having lots to 'cheat' the quota system.
-
No they wont be, all syncing will just stop.

@"abueljebain" wrote:So, all 9 GB since 2008 is gone? Quite possibly unless you can get access to the email etc. again. Note as well that if you dont/havent logged in for over 12 months the account is also removed for inactivity.
-
As soon as you hit your limit it will stop syncing. So files above your storage space wont be uploaded to Dropbox and would stay on the devices themselves waiting for you to get more quota

@"mftuchman65" wrote:I'm afraid I have to disagree. The file explorer makes it more difficult to change some settings in Dropbox, such as its co-opting of the print-screen key. I don't see a preferences menu unique to Dropbox in the file explorer app. Thats because there isnt on. You need to open the menu from Dropbox…

Hi @"abueljebain" I'm afraid @"maher1982" is almost certainly right - it is in the Dropbox help centre files that without access to email its pretty certain you cannot gain access again. See here for that document. You can try and contact support at www.dropbox.com/support but do not hold your breath I'm afraid
-
Hi @"Aleksej_82" Your friend cannot automatically get an account of 5gb. The free account starts at 2gb, so you yourself already have additional space. If he has extra space he has aquired it from somewhere.
-
It could be another file or folder you've previously shared. The only way to fix is via support at www.dropbox.com/support.
-
Dropbox wont, and cannot, backup the apps and things on your device UNLESS the app itself has a way of syncing to Dropbox. iCloud is the *only solution* to cloud backing up your iPhone in its entirety.
-
Dropbox website just previews them. If they don't display correctly download the whole file locally and watch it that way
-
You need to manually type them in one by one or copy/paste a list to the Share email box on that popup
-
We need to know why, what happens etc. as well as any error messages if we are going to try and assist.
-
You've not actually said why it isnt working and what the issue/s are @"Mike C.45" ?
-
To add - the other thing just to be cautious of is make sure your plan is in currency your card is in.... I have a cracking 50% off on my Amex card, but, its in £ and my bill is in $ - means it doesn't click in and give me it 😞
-
Hi @"Jas Blackthorne" While I'd never say never, BF and CM are not something I've ever seen Dropbox embrace
-
All support options are at www.dropbox.com/support. It sounds like you have used a trial and not then cancelled it. So, you need to try and ask for a refund although note that they usually only do so where legally required.
-
You will need to contact support at www.dropbox.com/support and ask for assistance.
-
It looks like there is some tech fault with the site and that button isn't working - a few of the SU Team have been to replicate as well. We've already shared it with the Team. As a workaround can you do it via https://www.dropbox.com/transfer ?
-
Refunds can take 5 or so working days, so, when were you told you'd get it? You will need to contact support again I'm afraid to ask for help - you should be able to reply back to the email messages you got about it.

Does your device meet the minimum requirements? It wont install if not: https://help.dropbox.com/installs/system-requirements#The-Dropbox-mobile-app-for-Android
