So www.dropbox.com/events isnt showing anything? ALL additions/deletions etc. are listed there, so if they aren't showing there something else has happened. Were these files a share at all?

Does that person have enough quota within their account to accept said share? They need as much space as the folder is based upon www.dropbox.com/account/plan

If you are using the official Dropbox app (i.e. from www.dropbox.com/downloading) it doesn't sync mobile devices - its one of the most common complaints here. It simply allows you to view what you put on and manually upload things yourself. Have you checked its an official app, or, that its not just the cache filling due…

The issue is space related. Dropbox wont sync once you are over quota. So, to get syncing to work again you need to delete the files that have sync'd (move them out of the Dropbox folder maybe on the Mac?). That should then allow others to download.

Hi @"Niki_p" It is almost certainly not resyncing BUT is reindexing (the wording on the app has always been terrible!). Dropbox will reindex each type it starts up but then upload any changes to files if it finds them when it indexs.

When you took them from Dropbox to your mac did you make sure they were available offline? Did you make sure Washing Machine deleted the correct versions? When you re-added can you restore a previous version?

Hi @"gnkwang" 1) you need to make sure you are working on the files and editing them INSIDE the Dropbox folder - they wont sync if they are anywhere else. Dropbox downloads files locally when you open or edit them and so will still need some storage. It also will not turn files locally that have been downloaded to Online only again automatically, you need to actively do that.
