Currently, there isn't a method to do what you're asking on the Dropbox site.
-
Thanks for the clarification. No, there wouldn't be any notification to the shared link owner.
-
Hi @"D469", thanks for contacting us. Are you referring to a user trying to click a shared link to a file or folder, to which they no longer have access? Did you make this change by deleting the link or file, or did you change the permissions of the link for it to only be accessible to team members? This will help me to…

We appreciate the feedback on this matter. Currently, there isn't a personal plan for a single user with 5 TB of quota. If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.

Do other browsers on that machine work? Have you tried disabling all browser extensions as well to see if this helps?
-
Could you clarify what you mean when you say that you can open them from another location? Do you mean using a different computer or browser?
-
Hi @"gbeca", for a PDF file, 2 KB in size is extremely small, could you confirm that this is the right size? If so, do larger PDF files around 1 MB or more preview normally? If you download the PDF files, do they preview on your computer directly?
-
Hi @"HarryZ", the search feature will only work if you're online, as it would search your account itself, not the files on your phone. If you access the Account tab and scroll down, is there definitely no section called 'Manage offline files' near the bottom? Could you attach a screenshot showing this, while hiding any…

Hi @"KeenanWellar", currently, there isn't an option for an individual plan with 5 TB of quota. Dropbox Professional has 3 TB of quota, but with an optional add on, you can increase it by 1 TB. Are you looking to use a Dropbox team plan, but with only the price of one license instead of the minimum of 3 licenses?

Hi @"brianskiba", thanks for bringing this to our attention. We're sorry to hear of your loss and understand how important it would be to view any files she may have had. We do have information in this article that should help you in relation to locating her files on an existing device, or gaining access to her Dropbox…

Hi @"Evelene", thanks for bringing this to our attention. It shouldn't be possible to install two copies of the Dropbox desktop application on your machine. What OS are you running currently? What are these duplicates you're referring to, are they Dropbox folders, or the installations of the desktop app? Have you tried…

Hi @"hollis1818", could you confirm the exact level of quota you have on your account from this page?
-
No, there is a monthly fee for the plan, which should be approximately $1.99 a month depending on currency, tax and billing cycle.
-
My post from earlier this year describes what the plan offers. Essentially, it's just like the Basic plan, but with 50 GB of quota.
-
Thanks for the info, the plan should only be available to users on a Basic plan, so it isn't possible to upgrade from a Plus plan. Once your account downgrades in September, you can try to upgrade to this plan again.
-
Hi @"jimmle", could you let me know if you're able to access this link, while logged into your account, to upgrade to the Basic Extra plan?
-
Hi @"Tony888", I've sent you an email, please could you reply to it when you get a chance.
-
Do you have the ticket ID number from your automated response in order to locate it on the system?
-
Thanks for the information. Could you try the following to resolve this behavior? * Search for and open "Startup Apps" from Windows Search or Apps > Startup in the control panel. * Find Dropbox Dash in the list and turn it OFF To finish removing Dash, if you click on the Open Folder button next to the toggle (from the…

Hi @"Krijo", could you try accessing your account page here? Could you also disable any running extensions on your browser and see if this could be affecting the view of the Dropbox site?
-
Hi @"kc879", thanks for bringing this to our attention. As this is related to sensitive billing info, I’d recommend getting in contact with our support team directly to look into this matter in more detail. You can do this by opening an incognito/private browsing window, while not signed into your account, and accessing…
-
Hi @"Seriously", thanks for the information. We're not experiencing this behavior on any of our devices. Could you clarify exactly what version of Windows you're running and what browser version you're using? Is this a company-managed device? Do you have any other cloud providers running on your machine at the same time?
-
If you're migrating to a new machine, the best method to ensure full functionality is to install the Dropbox desktop application and have the program sync the files normally from the site. You could try copying a version of the old Dropbox folder into the new computer, by pausing the desktop app after it creates the…
-
Hi @"SnappingTurtle", thanks for bringing this to our attention. In general, restoring from a Time Machine backup isn't recommended for the Dropbox folder, since the files might need to be re-indexed, or redownloaded from scratch, or in this instance, marked as online-only. As you saw in this case, it made the files…

The team is working on this idea! Thanks for sharing your suggestion with us and to everyone for supporting it. We’ll update you when we know more!

Hi @"GeertS", I've removed the images for your own privacy. The email address created by the Dropbox site is an @addtodropbox.com domain. The sendtodropbox.com domain is a different one, and is unrelated to Dropbox in any way. If that email address no longer works, then you'll need to contact that site for assistance.
-
Hi @"HollisHoHo", just to clarify, could you attach a screenshot, or more information what what you're experiencing, which device and OS you're using, and what steps you've tried so far?
-
Hi @"Phlurim", could you clarify what exact steps you took to move and delete files from your Dropbox account? In addition, could you attach a screenshot showing the error message you're getting about the files not being found?
-
Hi @"AlisonRose", what kind of document are you trying to preview, is it a Pages document, or some other file type? In general, Pages documents will only show the first page when previewed on the Dropbox site, as per this article.
-
Hi @"Brucknerphile", could you right click the Dropbox folder and choose 'Get info' and attach that screenshot here?
