Hi @"SDD76", if you access the devices page, as you received an unknown login, then you can check for recent website logins and devices. Hovering over the i icon will show the IP address of that login.

Hi @"carlnielsen", in order to look into this matter in more detail, would it be possible to reach out to the email associated with your forum profile?
-
If you check the Task Monitor, does the process close immediately? Have you tried rebooting the machine to see if this helps?
-
Hi @"Andrew S.98", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Could you try reinstalling the Dropbox service to see if this helps first? Keep me updated with any progress!
-
Thanks, I've replied to your message!

Hi @"Krisias", while we can't provide any specific recommendations, you can try searching on the app store for 'eml viewer' to see if any apps appear which might be able to help you with your query.
-
Hi @"Roger B.30", could you try downloading the Dropbox desktop application from another browser entirely, while all antivirus software is disabled, and then try running it?
-
Glad to hear it's working for you now! If you need any further assistance in the future, please let me know.
-
Could you try using another browser to see if this helps when uploading or viewing images in the Paper doc?
-
Could you attach a screenshot showing what you're describing?
-
Hi everyone, does this occur for files that you've previously uploaded to Paper? How did you attach the images into the Paper doc, did you copy and paste them in, or upload them onto your account and then attach them to the doc?
-
Hi @"dups2788", as @"Rich" states, Windows knows the actual size of the files, and the size it should be. When the desktop app is uninstalled, moving the folder wouldn't download the full 800 GB of files, only the files currently local on the machine.
-
Thanks for the info, @"antoniojl", it seems that there isn't any other version of the file available on the Dropbox site, so it wouldn't be possible to recover them via Dropbox. @"idontgetoutmuch", what happens if you mark entire folders as available offline? Do the files download in bulk?
-
Thanks, I've sent you an email, please could you reply to it when you get a chance.
-
What options do you get when you right click a file in the Dropbox folder? A screenshot of this would be helpful!

Hi @"idontgetoutmuch", what behavior are you experiencing? Have you checked that the files were successfully uploaded originally on the site, and checked the events page?
-
Hi @"adamvnz", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Could you try switching browsers to see if this helps? Otherwise, you can try using incognito/private browsing mode without any extensions running, clearing your cache and even resetting your browser entirely. Keep me updated with any progress!

-
Hi @"Rachelmk55", are you trying to export a file or folder? Could you attach a screenshot showing the options available?

Could you check if you've enabled the Dropbox extension in Finder in the Mac OS settings?
-
Hi @"StudioA", could you clarify exactly what's happening with this new behavior? How are you uploading files to the site?
-
Glad to hear you were able to recover your file! If you need any further assistance in the future, please let me know. Enjoy your weekend!
-
Thanks, it's possible that the file was deleted outside of the recovery period, so it isn't possible to view it from there. If you enter the file in the search bar, can you see any other copies of it?
-
Hi @"AEK1", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Can you find any of the missing files in the events page or the deleted files page to recover them? Keep me updated with any progress!
