Hi @"Frankie7", if you're trying to export an entire folder, this currently isn't possible via the mobile app. Only individual files can be exported via the app. If you're instead referring to exporting a single file, please let me know.
-
Do you have any other apps that could be running at the same time and affecting the performance of the app during its recording?
-
Just for your information, version history isn't available on folders, but files. If you had a file in the Mobile Uploads folder, the version history would show from which device the file was uploaded. Without knowing where it originated from, it wouldn't be possible to tell, however, given the name, most likely a file was…

Hi @"assma"-MU, the clear data button should clear any login details, so I don't recommend doing that if you're already above the 3 device limit on Dropbox Basic plans.
-
hi @"daddyslilvixxxen", could you confirm what plan you're seeing on this page currently? Do you see any recent payments or receipts on this page?
-
Hi @"sbacuemo", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Is this occurring on anything you're trying to record, or only on specific apps or areas of the screen? This will help me to assist further!
-
Thanks for the info, please let me know when you experience this behavior again.
-
Thanks for the screenshot, this is normal behavior, since the backup is a one-way process, from the external drive to the site. The folder you see there should be the version of the external drive that you chose to Rewind to.
-
Hi @"Victoria 494", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Does this user have an external drive connected to their machine? Do they frequently connect and disconnect it? This will help me to assist further!
-
No worries, glad to have helped out! If you need any further assistance in the future, please let me know. Enjoy the rest of your week!
-
Thanks, I've sent you an email, please could you reply to it as soon as possible!
-
That's right, you can disable your external drive backup, and this will delete it from the account, freeing up the space. https://help.dropbox.com/organize/how-to-use-dropbox-backup#disable This won't affect the actual external drive connected to your computer.
-
This link below should take you to your backups page. https://www.dropbox.com/backup/all

Does anyone have the file open at any point? You can tell by using the Dropbox Badge. Does this occur every time? Does anyone use the web version of Excel to edit files while you're in the file?
-
Thanks for the info, in order to look into this matter in more detail, would it be possible to reach out to the email associated with your forum profile?
-
The link I provided in my post would direct you to the page to see if there's any backups running.
-
What are the settings for both of those folders, when you click the gear icon?
-
Hi @"NermineS", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Could you attach a screenshot showing the exact error message you receive? Are you manually saving the files in the Dropbox folder via the app, or are you moving the files into the Dropbox folder? This will help me to assist further!
-
Hi @"Squick55", are these folders that you might have work files in them? When you try to open a document, do you open it from Explorer/Finder, or by navigating via the app itself?
-
How many 'signatures allowed' do you have currently? Could you attach a screenshot showing the options you get from the ellipsis?
-
Hi @"ClarkP", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Just for clarification, when you say you're using an instance of Dropbox, does this mean you're sharing the login credentials for one account, or are you using shared folders to share files? This will help me to assist further!
-
Hi @"Celemorante", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Is it possible that you have a computer backup or external drive backup running on your account? This will help me to assist further!
-
The first ban is for 1 day, the next would be 2 days, the third for 4 days. and so on exponentially. Depending on which ban you're on, you can figure out how long the ban will last. We wouldn't be able to see from our end.
-
Hi @"rdt17", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Firstly, could you clarify how you open a file? Is it on the Dropbox site, via an app, from within Finder? What file are you opening? How are the Excel files linked to the original? Is it via a formula in the Excel file or using a script or other feature? This will…
-
Hi @"tanyamae", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Could you confirm that you're trying to Cancel the signature requewst while logged into the Dropbox Sign page? This will help me to assist further!
-
Yes, marking a folder as available offline will make all subfolders available offline as well, in perpetuity.
-
Hi @"Dayna62", thanks for bringing this to our attention. It is possible to undo a Rewind, by Rewinding to an earlier point before the Rewind itself. Once this Rewind you've started has finished, you can choose an earlier point to get back to where you were before. If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.

Hi @"Mr Handsome", are you able to open multiple files from the Dropbox folder via the iOS Files app?
-
Is this a normal shared folder, or a team folder on the account? Can you provide any more information on the type of folder, including a screenshot showing the icon next to it?
-
Hi @"jwhitley", thanks for messaging the Community. By default, on the new version of the Dropbox desktop application for Mac OS, newly added files will be online-only. You can mark folders as available offline when right clicking them for files within those folders to also be downloaded offline. If you have any further…
