Hey @"TomL1", thanks for reaching out to our Community! Is it possible that your hard drive space is running a bit low? The app does have the ability to indicate that and automatically switch some files to online-only, to help you save hard drive space. Nonetheless, you can simply select the files/folders you want,…

Hey everyone, thanks for reporting this and for your feedback. Our team has made an update on this, which you can find here. I hope it helps.
-
Hey @"teresarivasbrea", thanks for reaching out to us. Can you make sure that the option to start Dropbox on system startup is checked in the "general" tab of the Dropbox preferences? If it is, you can try what worked for @"BiLC" here, to see if that helps you too.
-
Thanks, @"Tricia Greeley"! You've got mail!
-
No worries, @"mobin68", and thanks for the screenshots. Does the app just show you that it's "Syncing..." without a number of files left to sync next to that? And if so, does it remain stuck like that for a long time? Or just normal syncing time, depending on the number/size of the files you are syncing?
-
Sorry to hear that, @"townplanner". I just sent you an email, so I'll see you there!
-
Thanks for the update, @"syncingisinterrupted". Can you also hover over your Dropbox icon and let us know the exact sync status and app version shown there?
-
Hmm, I'm still not entirely clear on the original issue, though, @"Joanaa". Would you mind sending us a screenshot of where you could previously see the files, but now you can't, to help us get a visual of the issue? You should be able to see a camera icon above the reply box here on the Community, to attach your…

Sorry to hear about this, @"syncingisinterrupted" and thanks for the screenshots, @"shamim101". Can you tell me what you've tried so far? If you haven't restarted your computer yet, please try that and let me know what you see.
-
Thanks for your feedback here, @"tenderfoot". I've made sure to pass it along to our team. And as for you, @"Shadicxy", I just sent you an email, so we'll continue investigating this over there.

Hi again, Terry. From your description, we can understand that you're manually uploading your videos from your phone to Dropbox through the Dropbox mobile app and then, with the help of the Dropbox desktop app, these videos sync to your PC, where you can later access them, after they've been uploaded, isn't that right?…
-
Hey @"Joanaa", can you clarify if you're referring to backup files? Do you see the files in question, if you go to your backups page here?
-
Hey @"Terry P.", can you clarify where you're not seeing the progress indication? Are you talking about the Dropbox mobile app on your phone or the desktop app on your computer? A screenshot of where you were able to see the progress of your uploads would definitely be very helpful, if you can send us one.

Hey @"JaneGDesign", since the update of the Backup feature is currently still being rolled out, the info in the article you linked, refers to the older version of backup that's still available for some users. But yes, with the update, you won't be able to make your backups online-only. You can see more info on the update…
-
Thanks! It should also tell you the sync status of the app, e.g. "up to date", "syncing..", etc. What is it in your case?
-
Happy to hear that, @"aangulo99"! If you come across any other issues, let us know. Have a wonderful day!
-
Happy to clarify, @"annml"! So, I'm afraid moving the Dropbox folder to the Documents folder, won't allow you to back the Dropbox folder up. The Dropbox folder is what you use to sync and back up files to your Dropbox account; so you can't really back that location up, unfortunately. About your sync icons, would you mind…

We really appreciate your feedback about deleting a signature request, @"Amelia C.". Regarding the separate Sign homepage, I just wanted to clarify that the Signatures page on dropbox.com allows you to send signature requests, see signature request statuses, self-sign documents, and manage templates directly from…
-
Thanks for the update, @"aangulo99"! In that case, can you try a more advanced reinstall of the Dropbox app, to see if that helps?
-
Oh, that's good news, thanks for letting me know, @"sarasheep"! If you do come across any other issues, don't hesitate to post here again. Have a great day!
-
Thanks for clarifying, @"annml". Unfortunately, this is not really possible. You can back things up to Dropbox with Dropbox backup, but you can't back up the Dropbox folder; whatever's in your Dropbox folder and is synced to your account online as well, is already saved to our servers, that's why you can restore files that…
-
Thanks, @"Antman7", I just emailed you, so we'll continue looking into this there.
-
Hey @"aangulo99", thanks for the error log. I believe you should be able to see your message now. I can see that you edited out the usernames from the error log, right? If you do a CTRL+F on the error log and search for the word "users", do you see the same username everywhere, or do you see two different ones?
-
Thanks for keeping us updated, @"sarasheep", and sorry to see you're having trouble. Did you try to follow the steps shown in this error message? What was the outcome?
-
Thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community, @"stephyunghc"! You should be able to switch your files to "available offline" (green check mark), by selecting them, right-clicking and choosing "make available offline". You can also do that to the entire Dropbox folder itself, if you want to sync all your files. I hope…
-
Thanks, Sarah, I sent this info to the appropriate team, so make sure to keep an eye on the ticket for any updates.
-
Thanks, @"Nemesis666", I just emailed you, so I'll see you there!
-
Thanks for the update, @"sarasheep"! That's pretty strange indeed. What do you see when you hover over the Dropbox icon in your menu bar?
-
Hey @"Amelia C.", did you have the time to check Walter's reply above?
-
Thanks for the additional info here, @"annml". I'm glad things now seem better after reinstalling the Dropbox app, but would you mind clarifying what you mean by "choose my Dropbox folder to back up"? Are you trying to back up your folders to Dropbox or back up the Dropbox folder itself somehow?
