Thanks for the nudge here, @"TotallyTocoTours". Can you please describe the steps you follow to upload your Dropbox files to these third party apps/sites? Also, the files you're trying to upload, are they online-only or locally available in your Dropbox folder?
-
Hey @"kristofferb", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Can you please check the sync status of the Dropbox application, to see if there are any error messages there? You can see that by hovering your mouse over the Dropbox icon in your system tray. Let me know and we'll go from there.

Hmm, I see, thanks for trying! The thing is that accessing Dropbox through the files app is more Apple, than it is Dropbox. But do you perhaps have a lot of files in your Dropbox or very large files? Maybe that's why the files app takes a long time to load them all. Maybe clearing the cache of the files app might help.
-
And is that the case for all the files in their Dropbox folder, or just some of them? Oh, and don't forget to have them check the sync status please!
-
Thanks for the info and the screenshots here! Have you discussed what Rich mentioned about the TLS 1.0 and 1.1 protocols with the people from the Walmart site? You can read more about that here and perhaps give them this info, so they can check things out on their end.
-
Thanks for the update here! Can you check if you see the correct file sizes, when looking through the version history for those files?
-
Hey @"Elaf", thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community! Can you follow the steps here to rename the file and see if you can open it then?
-
Hey @"5WF", thanks for reaching out to our Community. Would you mind clarifying something for me? After opening the Dropbox app on your phone and tapping on the (+) create button, did you tap on 'upload photo' or 'create or upload file'? If you tapped on 'upload photo', can you try the other option instead, to see if it…

Hey @"colonialchurch", thanks for letting us know about this. Do you have the most recent version of Dropbox installed on the iPad and do you also have the latest version of iPad OS on the device? Have you tried restarting the device, to see if that helps? Keep me posted!
-
Hey @"arlie14", how are you? Can you open your Photos app, then go to 'My albums' and check the 'Recents' one, to see if the video was saved there?
-
Sorry to jump into your conversation with Megan here, @"AB1977". You said that this person is having trouble accessing the files. Do they see the files on our website, but not in the local Dropbox folder? Or can they see them in the Dropbox folder, but they just don't see the offline/online-only options when…
-
Hey @"novalin", sorry to jump in here. Shared links provide view-only access to the files you want to share, so the recipient is not required to have a Dropbox account. Can you please describe the steps you followed to create and share a link to that file?
-
Hey @"weiskott", thanks for joining our Community. And thanks for all the info provided, it's super helpful. Can you check if you're missing other sync icons, apart from the green check one? For example, when a file is syncing, does it have an icon on it? And what is the sync status of the application? You can see that, if…
-
Hey @"5yska", thanks for the nudge here. What is your computer's OS and was it recently updated? Which version of Dropbox do you have installed on the computer and what is the sync status at the moment? You can see that by hovering your mouse over the Dropbox icon in your system tray/menu bar.
-
Hey @"Snooker", thanks for posting to our Community today. Would you mind sharing a bit more info on the issue? Like, a screenshot of the error message, perhaps, and where you see it, would be awesome. And how did you initially connect/login to your Dropbox through the Walmart Photo Canada website? Is it possible to…
-
Hey @"euanburton", thanks for reaching out to our Community. It is not possible to share backed up files any more, to ensure the security of your files, as a lot of people have very personal files saved to their desktop folders. I do understand your frustration with this, though, and I will definitely pass your comments…
-
Hey @"corbeyluvULS", thanks for the nudge. Have you checked the articles here, to make sure everything is set up correctly, so that LAN sync can function in its full capacity?
-
Hey @"Dnunes69", thanks for reaching out! Like Rich suggested, can you please send us a screenshot of the notification in question, so we can look into it? Thanks!
-
Hey @"READINGDESIGN", thanks for reaching out to our Community. It sounds like this has to do with our backup feature. Would you mind clarifying if you're talking about a 'My Passport' external drive? If that's the case and you enabled external drive backup for it, you can follow the steps here to disable it. Let me know…

Hey guys, thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community. We’re actively working on full support for macOS 12.3. With this version, you may have trouble accessing online-only files in third party apps. However, you can go to Finder and double-click to open these files. You can read more info here.

Thanks for the update, John! It would seem that this is in fact expected behavior. The workaround would be what you already suggested, which is to pause syncing while working on these files. Regarding specific times to pause syncing for, you can check out and up-vote this idea on our idea board.
-
Hey @"HCockburn", sorry to jump in here! Not sure if you've already done this, but have tried restarting your device, to see if that helps? If it doesn't, can you also tap on the warning triangle in the screenshot, to the right of the timestamp and send us a screenshot of what that shows? Lastly, can you try the 'Office'…
-
Hey @"Preston J.", thanks for reaching out to our Community. Are you perhaps looking to launch the Dropbox application interface that used to be available, that looked kind of like the website? Because that was deprecated a while ago. Now, you can only access your Dropbox files through the Dropbox folder in your file…
-
Hey @"TBisley", thanks for the nudge here. The email about the end of support for free teams has gone out to all relevant users, perhaps you're looking at the wrong email account? As for your emails, if you want to switch the email of your account, but it's already used by a second account, you can use a third, placeholder…
-
Hey @"MattFoster", thanks for posting your query to our Community. Even though Dropbox offers a backup solution, indeed, it's not a backup service in itself. However, if a file is added to Dropbox and saved in our servers, it's safely stored and easily recoverable, in case of a deletion. Have you looked into our Dropbox…

Hey @"Locura53", thanks for bringing this to our attention. Can you just confirm to me that these are the steps you followed in order to cancel the trial? Thanks!
-
I see, thanks for letting me know. Do you remember if you had disabled computer backup on the old computer? Do you maybe still have access to it and have the Dropbox application installed still, so that you can disable it?
-
Has anyone tried the suggestion by Brother, that @"hemzet" mentioned, to see if that helps?
-
Hey @"johnfrags", thanks for letting us know about this. Can you let me know what your computer's OS is? And also, what is the version of the Dropbox app installed on your computer? You can see that by hovering your mouse over the Dropbox icon in your system tray/menu bar. Let me know and we'll take it from there.

Hey @"daveaudio", thanks for bringing this to our attention. This does look like a Google Docs error, but it's strange you only see this in Dropbox. Are multiple people working on the same file at the same time, when this happens? What if only one person edits it? Do you see the same? Keep me posted.
