I'm getting an error saving an Autocad file, and it's saving tmp files instead?
I use Autocad to work on files I have stored and shared here in Dropbox. My Autocad is set to save every ten minutes. I also manually save very often because I've learned a valuable lesson once when we lost power and my battery backup (UPS) didn't work. Hours of lost work is not fun so I constantly save to avoid losing…

What is the Dropbox desktop application doing when it is indexing files?
I have dropbox installed on my work computer that has software called deepfreeze (software by Faronics) on it. MacOS X Security - Is it normal to allow Dropbox.app "to control your computer"?
I examined “MacOS System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Accessibility” yesterday, and I saw Dropbox.app listed under "Allow the apps below to control your computer", with its checkbox selected. I have several users who are noticing that their Dropbox App completely crashes on Windows 8 and they are off line. We have tried to restart the app and nothing happens. Only solution is to reinstall dropbox on top of itself. I have performed this several times, but today I had a user that required this step again (3 hours…

Can I have the same Dropbox folder for both users on my Windows 10 device?
I have had nothing but problems with Windows 10 Start Menu, search, etc. Known Microsoft problem. The work around seems to be creating a 'Local' User, which I have done. Is there a way to have a common Dropbox folder for both users (Me). It seems not so far, in what I have tried. I have Installed Dropbox in my local user…

How do I sync the My Documents folder with Dropbox?
I'd like to have the My Documents folder on my HP synced with Dropbox, so I have a backup in the cloud. But I can't figure out how to do it without having a copy of My Documents in the My Dropbox folder (i.e., having two copies of My Documents taking up space on my hard drive). I might be overlooking something simple, but…
