Are you seeing the small Dropbox icon in your system tray at the moment (close to your clock settings)? If you are, and you hover over it, the app version should be visible (if your app is updated, you should be seeing this app version).

I’d like to thank you for your feedback, @"csnoke"; I’ve made sure our team can see it too, in case they consider bringing this feature back at some point in the future.
-
Hey @"justinl", thanks for posting on our forum today. It sounds like you clicked on the option to delete your Dropbox account indeed. Can you upload your ticket number here, so that I can check it too and further assist? Let me know when you’re ready.
-
Hey @"Weglarz"! From what appears on your screenshot, you’re missing all Dropbox options from your context menu. Can you clarify the current syncing status and app version of your Dropbox app?
-
@"emendes", can you send me a screenshot of what you see on your end? It’d definitely help to have a visual before troubleshooting further.
-
No problem, @"Vera N."! Please reply to my email and we’ll look into this further.
-
@"lsy", can you describe to me the exact steps that you’re taking from renaming your file to what you see after that? Any relevant screenshots you can provide will also be super helpful.
-
Welcome aboard our Community, @"Vera N."! The error message you mention is usually generated because of one of the reasons mentioned in this Help Center article. However, to further assist, can I go ahead and log a ticket for you instead? I can message you to the email address you see here. Let me know.

I see, thanks @"TheNarg"! I can confirm your most recent ticket has been correctly logged in our system, so our team will get back to you as soon as possible. I’ve also left them an internal note on your behalf.

Hey @"oliverjames", hope you’re doing well. Just to make sure I got it right, you can see the Family Room folder on www.dropbox.com, but you’d also like to see it again on your desktop app. Correct? Do you remember how exactly you removed it from your desktop app in the first place? Did you use selective sync perhaps? If…en How can I bring the Family Room folder back to my desktop app? Hey @"TheNarg"! From what I can see, your previous ticket was automatically closed at some point due to inactivity, so you’ll need to open a new one indeed. Did you go to this page from an incognito window on your browser, like Hannah mentioned above? The reason for the incognito window is that we don’t want you to be…

Are there any other apps running in the background at the moment? If you check the current syncing status of the Dropbox app, what does it report?
-
No worries, @"amcoffice". I’ve gone ahead and logged a new ticket for you; you can attach the new info you’ve gathered there.
-
To be frank, the 300k file soft limit has existed for a very long time; while it’s not necessary that you’ll face performance issues on the Dropbox app, if you have more than 300k files in your Dropbox folder, it can be a contributing factor. In any case, I’d like you to give these steps a go and let me know if you see any…

Hey @"stereosides"! Thanks for posting on our forum and welcome aboard. If you’re backing up files to a third-party app at the same time, then this may also affect the time needed to sync/back up your files to Dropbox. In general, please keep in mind that each file you upload/sync to Dropbox is divided and compressed into…
-
Hey again, @"amcoffice"! I can see that your old ticket with our support team was automatically closed after some time of inactivity. Did you try to reply to that ticket/email directly and you had an issue generating a new one?
-
Hey @"muestik"! Is the Dropbox app stuck downloading those 22 files or does the number keep changing? If you keep the window with the properties of the Dropbox folder open for a little longer, does it show the current number of files that it contains?
-
Thanks for your post, @"HuaDeity_"! Can you try the steps provided here and then attempt to create a new Dropbox account again? Let me know if you’re still having the same issue after that.
-
Hey @"tmp20250109"! I just wanted to let you know that this improvement is now delivered. The feature it's a part of is still being ramped, so not all users will experience it; when they do though, this improvement will be a part of it.
-
Apologies for the delay, @"thedriver"; I just wanted to double check this with the team and see if there’s another option. As the drag and drop function is no longer supported when it comes to the pinned Dropbox icon in the taskbar, I’m afraid there’s not much more I can suggest on my end. However, since there may be…

Thanks for these screenshots! They’re much appreciated. What if you open one of your folders instead, select all the files inside, right-click on them and select the “Make available offline” option? Are they still not being downloaded to your device? As for checking whether your Dropbox app has been updated to File…
-
Hi @"LAist"! Can you provide a few more details on what you’re seeing exactly on your end? Are you only not seeing the option to make your files available offline or all Dropbox options, in general? Feel free to send over a screenshot, as well.
-
Hi from me too, @"spydee"! Out of curiosity was the integration working for you before and it suddenly stopped or is this the first time you’re trying to save your recordings to your Dropbox account this way? Have you tested this via another browser too, and the issue persists?
-
Thanks for the feedback you’ve shared with us, @"ridgenc". You can find more info regarding the new release of Dropbox Paper in this Help Center article. As for the Dropbox Paper mobile app, did you try reinstalling it, and also restarting your device, and you still can’t see your Paper docs listed?
-
Thanks for letting us know about this here, @"compost"! Besides updating the OS of your computer, did you also update your desktop app to Dropbox for macOS on File Provider? As for your online-only files, if you right-click on them instead and select the “Make available offline” option, are you still unable to sync them…
-
Thanks for updating us! We’re currently looking into this and we’ll let you know when we have more updates.
-
Thanks for clarifying that, @"jayparryux"! Can you please try to re-apply now and let me know if the issue persists?
-
Can you also test this via an incognito window on your current browser? I’d like to check if that’ll help at all.
-
Hi @"abitofhelpplease"! Hope you don't mind if I chime in. As for your first post, yes you’re correct; the only thing I’d like to mention is to make sure that all of your .mp3 files have been synced to your Dropbox account online before signing out/uninstalling the Dropbox app on your old machine. You can do this by…

Hey again, @"indub"! Out of curiosity, are you having the same issue, if you compress the GarageBand file first to a .zip one and upload it to Dropbox after that? In general, package files can be uploaded to Dropbox this way, but I understand if it’s not possible to test this, since you’re using the GarageBand mobile app…
