Hey @"Akash gurung", thanks for the nudge here. If a file has been permanently deleted, I'm afraid it cannot be recovered. Recoverable files can be found in your deleted files page here. I hope this helps.

Hey @"mmakabeh", thanks for the nudge here. Please go to this page, take a screenshot of your space usage and upload the screenshot to your next reply here, using the upload button seen below.
-
Hey @"KHAIR" and @"Wissamgh", thanks for all the info here. Can you please check this article and let me know if these are the steps you're following? If not, can you reproduce the issue on other browsers too?
-
Hey @"joe lotz", thanks for reaching out to us. The article that Mark linked for you, includes the steps on linking your second account on the Dropbox desktop app, so that it will also be added to your Finder. Are you having any issues with the steps?
-
Hey @"PD24", thanks for reaching out to us. It sounds like you've accidentally joined a Dropbox team account. To go back to your individual account now, the admin of the team, in this case your colleague, will need to convert your account back to an individual Basic account. That way, the team files will be removed and…

Thanks, James. Would you mind sending us a couple of screenshots of how your files appear in both of those locations, what you see when you right-click on files in both as well, so we can have a visual?
-
In that case, I don't think Dropbox can help with this, @"MysticLenz". You might want to reach out to WhatsApp for support and ask them how you can download the files from the link.
-
Hey @"MysticLenz", where are you trying to download the images to? Your device or do you want to save them to Dropbox? If the latter, saving them to your device first, would be the best option here. Once they're saved to the device, you can upload them to your Dropbox. Doesn't the link allow for them to be downloaded?
-
Hey @"SR SLS", does this also happen with files uploaded by yourself directly (non-shared ones)?
-
Hey @"James Burford", jumping in here as well, if you don't mind. When you uninstalled the Dropbox app, did you also sign out of the app before doing so?
-
Hi there, @"MysticLenz", and thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community. Can you please clarify how this link was generated? And are you trying to save files from this link to your Dropbox account? If the link doesn't have an option to export files directly to other apps, I believe you'd need to save the files to…
-
Hey @"Wissamgh", thanks for the nudge here. I just tested this on my end and the file saved as a .pdf to my Dropbox account. Are your iOS, your Dropbox and your Safari all updated to the most recent version?
-
Hey @"Wiskers", do you also have a Dropbox team account? And can you clarify if you're referring to creating a folder in the team member folder or in the team space?
-
Thanks for trying, Peter. I just emailed you, so we'll continue investigating internally. Cheers!
-
Hey @"C-22", if this is regarding two different Dropbox accounts, your wife will need to contact us from her account as well. Regarding your own account, are we okay to send you an email? As for you @"eitanas1", I just replied back to you, so make sure to check your email.
-
Thanks for that, @"KafS". Can you sign in to your account from a different web browser or a private browsing window and let us know if you see the same thing?
-
Hey @"AnneKC9YL", if you have view-only access to the folders, there's not much you can do on your end. But someone with edit permissions, can follow the steps here, to change how files/folders are sorted.
-
Hey @"C-22", thanks for your comment as well. Are both of those devices linked to the same Dropbox account? Your account?
-
Thanks for keeping us updated, @"p_kasandraa", in any case, and I'm glad to see that it was resolved. If you need anything else, don't hesitate to let us know. Have a great day!
-
Yes, please, that would be really helpful. Thanks, @"KafS"!
-
Hey @"DmytroGo", sorry to see that you're having an issue with syncing on your Dropbox application. What is your computer's exact OS version at the moment? Also, can you send us the ticket number for your communication with support, so we can locate it in our system as well?
-
Hey @"p_kasandraa", thanks for posting to the Dropbox Community. Are the files being shared with you, shared through Dropbox links? Because it's expected for links to open on a browser. If you save the files to your Dropbox, though, you should be able to open them with the local Excel program on your computer. Can you…
-
Hey @"Tanja3", sorry to hear about this. Can we reach out to you via email, to investigate this further?
-
Hi there, @"benhy", thanks for reaching out to us. Although it's not possible to sync only certain folders in your Dropbox to a different drive, you can move the entire Dropbox folder to a different drive, if you want. You can see how to go about that in this article from our Help Center. Having said that, we appreciate…
-
Hey @"KafS", I just wanted to clarify that a Dropbox account can only be associated with one email address. However, if there are no events in your events page and no files in your deleted files page, I'd suggest searching your other email accounts, to see if you can find any emails from Dropbox. This way, you'll find out…
-
Hi there, @"bryn1", and welcome to our Community. Are all the files in your current Dropbox folder fully synced/set to 'available offline'? I'd suggest right-clicking on the Dropbox folder itself and choosing 'make available offline', to make sure everything is synced and then try to move the folder again, to see if that…
-
Hey @"eitanas1", thanks for your nudge here. I just sent you an email as well, so we'll continue there.
-
Hey @"Fay3", if you're logged in to a Basic account, you won't see an option to cancel your subscription, as Basic account are free. Since that's the case, I would suggest using the payment lookup tool, like Rich suggested above as well, to see which email address is associated with the paid account, so you can login to it…
-
Hi from me as well, @"EJL1"! I saw in your screenshots that there's a banner at the bottom of the page, providing some info about the "join folder" option. Can you click "OK" there, to see if the other options are clickable afterwards?
-
Hey there, @"yesthatsandra", thanks for posting to our Community. When you say that Dropbox is copying files to your desktop, can you please clarify what you mean a bit? Do you mean that files already inside your Dropbox folder, get copied over to your computer's Desktop folder as well? Or simply that your Dropbox files,…
