Is there a way to have a shared folder with a view-only file inside of it?
I'm trying to have all of the files in one spot and was having trouble with the shared files being able to get edited without being in a folder. Is there a way to put a view-only file in a shared folder or is everything in there able to get edited?

We've shared an Excel file with other users, but they can't edit it in Excel
When someone opens a dropbox excel file that has been shared with them, it seems they are not able to edit in excel, unless they download it, or save via dropbox. How would someone be able to edit the file and have it show up for everyone that the file is shared with?

I've shared an excel file via dropbox sharing and I saw that the person opened it but they edited it and I'm not seeing their edits.
