Thank you! Do you know if it will ever be possible in the future? It would be incredibly helpful for us. Is there a way to save a document to the dropbox app so you can see real time changes to a view-only file?

Gotcha. Yes, it does pop up there but only has an option to download. It seems to be working when someone edits on a computer but not on a phone. We might have to create separate folders then. We just didn't want them to have access to the other files in that folder.

Okay, thank you. I thought that would work too but all they're able to do from there is download, and then it downloads on their phone but they aren't able to upload it via the Dropbox app or if they export it or save it to their phone and open it via excel that way, it creates a copy.

They have a free dropbox account, does that not work?

Do they need to be part of my team to edit? I'm just extremely confused why some are working and some aren't. I'm not sure what to do and it's very important I can see all the edits right when they happen.
