To clarify, the upload sync is working on the Mac Studio (the computer with the zero byte files we have been troubleshooting), but the upload sync and the download sync is very intermittent on the iMac, whereas earlier there was no issue with the upload sync on it.

Yes, it is running and syncing, but when it receives a file, it treats it as online only, and the file has zero bytes. Here is a shot taken just now of it syncing. You can see the two files that were just synced.
