Hello @"meowskers", and welcome aboard the forum! I understand that you’re referring to seeing more info when it comes to shared links, correct? If yes, then I’m afraid this kind of info isn’t available at the moment. I can definitely pass your feedback on this though to our team. For anything else, don’t hesitate to give…

Thanks for checking, @"LukasLarsen"! It looks like the Dropbox account in question has been upgraded via Google Play then. If you open your Google Play account, and follow these steps, are you seeing the Dropbox subscription you're being charged for, along with the option to cancel it?
-
Hi @"EbbiKoko"! Hope it’s OK to jump in. Something else to try, if this happens again, is to check your browser for any pending updates and also, restore it to its default settings and disable any browser plugins. The issue you're experiencing may be the result of a security setting or a plugin that you have installed on…

I’m sorry to hear about this, @"LukasLarsen". Can you please check your bank statement for me, and let me know if the charges are directly linked to Dropbox or Google Play/iTunes? If the former, you can go here and insert your statement’s transaction ID in the given field. It’ll show you which Dropbox account you’re being…

Thanks for these, @"rwoj"! It looks to me that these are shared links, which is why you can access them even while not logged in to your Dropbox account. If you go here, are you able to see these files in the list of shared links you’ve created on your Dropbox account?
-
Hi @"frankiegee"! Did you choose the “Dark Mode” option from your web settings, or the “Operating System” one? If the latter, you’ll need to make sure your OS settings are also updated accordingly and perhaps, also restart your computer. If that doesn’t work though, I’d like to know your OS version, to check this further.
-
Hi @"NiFu"! Please reply back to my email, when you get the chance, and we’ll go from there.
-
Sorry for jumping in, @"ibutter". You mentioned previously that you never received an email about this update. You may have tried this already, but did you also check your spam folder?
-
That’s great to hear! The “Edit” button above is mostly used to edit PDF files on the Dropbox website. If you need something else though, don’t hesitate to nudge me!
-
Hey @"rwoj", sorry for jumping in. Can you please log out of your Dropbox account once again, and then try to access this file? Please take a full screenshot of what you see, and attach it in this thread (if there’s any personal info showing, feel free to remove it first). I'd like to have a visual, and check this further.
-
Thanks for the screenshot! If you click on the "Open in" button, below "Edit", are you able to open it with Excel for the web and edit it?

I totally understand what you mean. However, if you delete the files from your own Dropbox account, the recipient can’t restore them on their end, as they’re only part of your own Dropbox and not theirs (hope that makes sense). I can most definitely pass your feedback on this to our team though, so that they may take your…

Hi again, @"bwessel"! Can you please reply to Walter’s second question above, as well? Do you happen to be running any 3rd party apps on your computer that could be interfering somehow? Have you completely uninstalled and reinstalled the Dropbox app, since this started happening? Also, are you able to see the Dropbox icon…
-
Hi @"Minna96"! Hope you’re doing great. Can you send a screenshot of what you see exactly on your end, when trying to open your file online? If there’s any private info showing on the preview, make sure to mask it before uploading your screenshot here.
-
Hi @"FrederickZh", hope it’s OK to jump in here. After double checking with the team too, I can confirm that viewing shared links to photo collections isn't currently possible via the Links section of your Shared tab, so you can't delete them. The only way to do this would be if the original photo was deleted, which would…

Do you mind sharing a few more details, @"marc74"? For example, are you having trouble renaming a specific file on your Dropbox account? If yes, is it a copy, like the OP mentions? What happens exactly, when you try to rename it?
-
You’re all set, @"jmfccompany"! Please reply back to my email, and we’ll take it from there.
-
That’s great, Jim! It seems like you were previously creating a shared folder instead, which is why the link wouldn’t show. If you need something else, I’ll be right here!
-
Hope it’s OK to jump in here, @"Kevin-54". To create a new user profile on your computer, you can follow these steps. Other than that, I can suggest checking out this suggestion to make sure the Dropbox overlay icons are prioritized and see if the other icon will disappear after following them.
-
Thanks for the screenshot! It seems like your Dropbox account was previously part of a Business team. Do you know who your admin is, so that you can contact them directly? Also, have you opened any tickets with our support team about this, by any chance? If yes, I’d like you to send me your ticket number here, and I’ll…
-
Thanks for the screenshots! Can you clarify the OS version of your device, as well as the app version and syncing status of your Dropbox app? Is the app running at the moment? Other than that, I can see there’s a small orange dot by your images; are you also trying to back them up with Carbonite? Finally, can you send me a…
-
Can you please attach your screenshot in this thread by clicking on the small camera icon above your message box? Due to security reasons, I can’t click on any links, I’m afraid.
-
Hey @"crk__plus"! Hope it’s OK to jump in. One way to do this would be with selective sync, like you also mention. You’d need to sync the folders locally (depending on your hard drive space), and then copy them to the external drive. The other option is to do this via the website. However, keep in mind that the website has…
-
Sorry to hear same thing’s happening to you, @"harleymac1". Did you reinstall the Dropbox app on your mobile device, and you still get an error that the code’s not valid?
-
Sorry for jumping in here, @"Trevor147". Can you please clarify the mode you’ve set your device to, so that @"zacw" can look into this, too?
-
Hi @"Ivanom", sorry for jumping in. Can you send me a full screenshot of what you see on your Backups page online, as well? I’d also like you to open your backup settings online, and send me a screenshot of what appears there.
-
Hi from me as well, @"vutran". Can you please disable the automation once again, and re-enable it, while making sure the “Apply to current files” box is ticked? I’d also like a screenshot of your preferences, when setting up the automation again, so that I can check this further. Thanks!
-
Thanks for the screenshot, @"Lyn14"! From your screenshot, it looks like you’re previewing the file on the Dropbox website. Can you please click on the “Open in” button above the preview, and open your file with Excel for the web instead? Do you still see the dates in the US format then? If yes, do you see any option to…

@"KATHYLRANKIN2", can you please check Mark’s post, and let us know if his suggestion helps with what you’d like to achieve?
