Hey @kimhold, I hope you're doing well! Do you wish to share a folder/file with your client? I'm asking because in that case a shared link would work. A shared link would give them access to the specific file/folder without them having access to your account. If this isn't your cup of tea, feel free to let me know more of…

Can I send you an email, in order for us to have a closer look into this @rjrex?
-
Hey @Charlie Windsor, thanks for the added info! Do you notice this behavior on multiple browsers too? Also, which is your preferred browser that you use?
-
Hi @jbenton42, thanks for posting here today! In regards to folders online not showing info in the modified column, I tested it and the same thing happens on my end so this seems to be expected. As for the date modified, that depends on how you sync the file to your account, and how the file is edited or saved. Generally,…

Hi there, @McDrake 9, let's jump right into this! Have you tried following these steps mentioned at our Help Center, in order to delete your account's Backup? If not, give it a go. I'll be waiting for your update!
-
Hey @mo34, thanks for posting here! Based on everything you described, it sounds like it might be iCloud that's causing it. Generally we don't suggest that you use two cloud providers on the same path, as it may cause issues such as the one you mentioned. And since you identified that the issue resolved after uninstalling…

Hey @Charlie Windsor, thanks for reporting! Do you think you could send me a couple of screenshots of a step-by-step that you follow on your end? I'd love to have a visual of this. Thanks a bunch!
-
Hi again @Doug R.1! Would it be possible for you to create a new user profile of the device, and check if the behavior is reproducible there?
-
Hey @FLSunshine, thanks for the info! Do you notice this behavior only within your Dropbox folder? Also, what exactly happens and is your issue the same as the OP? It'd help me to also have an idea of how many files you have locally within your Dropbox folder. Feel free to send me a screenshot of the folder's properties,…
-
Hey @FLSunshine, thanks for posting here! When did this start happening exactly? Would you mind clarifying your exact OS and the version of the Dropbox app you have installed on the device, please? Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!
-
Hey @Thijxx, let me also jump in here! Yeah pretty much. I'd also like to ask you to clear your browser's cache if that's not too much of a trouble. You also mentioned this happens only with the "Suggested" pictures, right? Meaning if you try to locate a picture in your account and then preview it, do you notice the same…

Hey there, @AustinA1, let's jump right into this! Keep in mind that you can’t transfer or share an entire Family Room folder with people outside of your plan. If you’d like to send specific files and folders from the Family Room folder to people outside your Family plan, you can use Dropbox Transfer to deliver a copy they…

Hey, @febinjohny7, welcome to our Community! You mentioned that others can’t see the progress and changes you make. I’m assuming you’re making these changes locally on the device, right? If not, feel free to correct me. When you visit your account online, are you able to see these changes there? Feel free to also let me…
-
Hey @amiem! You should be able to click on the camera-like icon and attach your screenshots back to me. That way I can have a visual of your profile online, versus what you see locally on the device.
-
Hey @"holpolshuf", let's jump right in! If you try to use these steps, in order to download the files from your Dropbox account online to your device and then preview them there, do they preview like they normally would? Also, what are the syncing icons that you see next to these files when you check them within your…
-
Hey @"dhtax", thanks for the info! Let's check your plan page right here, to see what might be taking up all of your account's quota. What do you see when you visit that page, and also is the folder visible when you visit your sharing tab here?
-
Hey @"dhtax", let's jump right into this! Just to make sure we're on the same page here: are you referring to a shared file, by any chance? When you check your Dropbox account online, are you able to locate the file there? You also mentioned that the account is "frozen" or "locked". Would you mind clarifying a bit more on…
-
Hey @"jaynep", thanks for posting here today! Would you be able to send me a screenshot of the messages you get on your end, in order for me to have a visual? Also, does this happen on your browser, and if so which specific one? Let me know more!
-
Hey @"Doug R.1", do you happen to be running any 3rd party apps like antivirus or firewalls, or VPN/proxy settings on your machine? If so, could you temporarily disable them and let me know how it goes?
-
Have you tried signing out of the app, and then back in or even rebooting your device at all @"eroberts"?
-
Hey @"alexjcrane", welcome to our Community! It'd be helpful to quit and relaunch the Dropbox app on your machine or even reboot the machine itself as well. Also, do you happen to be running any 3rd party apps like antivirus or firewalls, or VPN/proxy settings on your machine? If so, could you temporarily disable them and…
-
Hey @"Doug R.1", thanks for that! Have you tried fixing the hardlinks & permissions of your Dropbox files, following these steps, by any chance? If this doesn't make any huge difference, let me know and we'll keep investigating.
-
Hey @"BuddaRudda", I hope you're doing well! Not sure if I have something in mind about this. In any case, I'll leave your thread open in order for other users to connect with you, and suggest what works best for them. If you need anything else, please let me know and I will be more than happy to help every step of the…
-
Hey @"Doug R.1", let me also jump in here! Can you also send me a screenshot of your Dropbox folder's properties, and clarify how many files you have syncing there? Also, what OS does your device use?
-
Hey @"eroberts", let me also jump in here! Would you be able to send me another screenshot of the Dropbox folder's properties, just to check what's going on there? Also, when you access your folders inside the Dropbox folder, do you see any syncing icons there?
-
Hey @"amiem", thanks for the speedy response! Have you tried re-installing the app using this link, by any chance?
-
Hi there, @"amiem", let's jump right into this! If I understand this correctly, it sounds like you wish to sign out of the desktop app locally on the device. There are the steps. You should be able to locate your little Dropbox icon on the menu bar, next to your WiFi. When you click on it, and follow the steps you should…
-
Hey there, @"LeslieT", welcome to our Community! Have you tried uploading the file to Dropbox using our website and the steps mentioned in this article? If you use our desktop app on your MacBook Pro, you should also have a Dropbox folder located locally on the device, that'd allow you to upload content by copying or…

Based on your screenshot it seems that Ron was the owner, therefore the sender of the folder @"mdhakr".
-
Essentially the "administrator permission" you received when trying to remove the folder, was because it was a shared one @"mdhakr". You needed to remove yourself from the folder first. You can see more about shared folders' permissions here.
