What is the operating system of the server @"SimonParrock" ?
-
Hi @"amandachin" I still dont have access 😞
-
Dead easy @"Jardii" Just download them to your computer. Then upload them elsewhere. There really is no more than that. https://help.dropbox.com/sync/download-entire-folders
-
When you moved them did you give them time to upload? Mac's create 0byte files on devices before populating them with the data. As they are initially tiny they upload almost instantly to Dropbox, but, then upload slowly once the files are 'full' of actual data. Thats not a Dropbox error or fault its just how Mac's handle…
-
Have you given them time to upload? What does Dropbox say if you mouse over its icon on the status bar of the computer?
-
You may not be able to regain access. Have a try of following https://help.dropbox.com/account-access/lost-email-access
-
Is the time and date on the Mac the same as on the website? i.e. is your timezones etc. correct?
-
Hi @"maher1982" Thanks for the images, they really help. Based on the second one Dropbox isn't running - the icon is missing. Restart Dropbox on your machine and all should be good 🙂
-
You will need to REMOVE him from the Team via the admin panel (not delete!) and then share the folder individually with him. Note that he will need an account large enough to access it, so, if its over 2gb he will probably need to pay for an upgrade.
-
Hi Mike If you mean the root of your Dropbox directory that's not possible. It would be possible, however to create and share a folder inside the root and then give everybody access to that though.

Dropbox backup? www.dropbox.com/backups
-
If there is a Dropbox drive installed make sure you only connect to it via the app and after an install. That way it creates a new database when it happens. Dont try and change directories etc. or it'll get confused and use what it sees on the machine as most up to date. It usually compares both, but, as the computer is…
-
Dropbox isnt designed to work like that - it isn't intended that you 'just swap hard drives'. Dropbox isn't intended, or designed, actually to even be installed on external drives. It is intended to replace them. So when you have connected a different drive Dropbox has used the local database on that hard drive and viewed…

www.dropbox.com/referral_status and www.dropbox.com/account/plan will help 🙂

Without access to the email it isnt possible to regain access to accounts: https://help.dropbox.com/account-access/lost-email-access Do you have anything else still connected?

@"MartinNID" wrote:Thank you for a quick response. Does this feature exist in another dropbox plan? No. Sorry. Why not suggest as a feature idea? https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Dropbox-ideas/idb-p/101002013

@"MartinNID" wrote:How to view all shared folders with a specific person in the dropbox family plan? I'm afraid you cannot @"MartinNID". No such functionality exists.

You probably wont be able to get in I'm afraid: https://help.dropbox.com/account-access/lost-email-access For support you can log tickets at www.dropbox.com/support. Make sure you are NOT signed in, even to these forums (incognito works well).

@"amandachin" wrote:We found the issue - Please let me know if you still don't get access in a few hours time! Again - thanks for flagging it! 😊 @"Mark" @"TonyEnglund" @"Rich" Still no access 😞

Where are you seeing this? Is it your own details? If so just update at www.dropbox.com/account

@"Melih" wrote:Can anyone help me about this? I dont think Dropbox web has the same functionality as the software on the computers. If the link on the page is correct (i.e. if you copy and paste it and put it in to a browser and it opens then Dropbox's side works). Same if it works in the desktop software on another…
-
Make sure you have set it to unlimited uploads in the Dropbox software and then just wait. It'll get faster once all of the small files are uploaded as the overheads on those is huge

@"Megren" wrote:My account was charged - did not want it. I did not even use the full trial not the app. how do I cancel and get my money back??? Dropbox only issues refunds where legally required. If you started the trial its your responsibility to then cancel it - not using it wont do that. Follow the instructions…

Hi @"David130" There isnt an automated way with Dropbox, no, but maybe look at IFTTT or similar to see if you can find a script that would do it?
-
You will need to download to a computer or a device and reupload. There isn't a way of doing this automatically. And no, you shouldn't loose whats on a device already if you disconnect from Dropbox.
-
It looks like for whatever reason the owner of the link has deleted the file or closed the link. You will need to go back to them and ask for a new link.
-
Have you tried recreating the link? https://help.dropbox.com/share/set-link-permissions#passwords
-
Can you post a screenshot of www.dropbox.com/home and www.dropbox.com/account/plan ? Note that deleted files use no quota, so, permanent deletion will have changed nothing.
-
Is the change showing at www.dropbox.com/events and does the file appear changed in the actual shared folder online or on your computer?
