Have you tried clearing your cache and cookies on your browser? It sounds like a fault with some software conflicting

How long ago did you access the accounts @"Dude5" ? If it was over 12 months the data will have been wiped now due to inactivity. In terms of the email issue have you read https://help.dropbox.com/account-access/lost-email-access
-
Hi @"ByTheWillow" Can the people who sent you this rejoin it via www.dropbox.com/share ? However, I suspect the only way to sort this mess will be for you to get them to create and share a new folder with you.
-
https://www.dropbox.com/account/referrals will also show you other space you received towards the bottom of the page. Any referrals, if space was removed, would now list on that page as well and say 'Ineligible'.
-
Does the referral page not show you losing any? Did you have a temp bonus on for something like a device? QuickBooks?
-
You can see a full list at https://www.dropbox.com/account/referrals
-
You cannot refer yourself @"mfagerbu" , so that email and referral wont have worked.
-
What is www.dropbox.com/events showing? And www.dropbox.com/referral_status
-
Another shout to say that this is appearing, and, I completed these back in about 2008! They are also not completing if you try and do them again v365.1.2
-
Just to add that this seems to have resolved itself overnight. The files have arrived in my Dropbox overnight

For info all: https://status.dropbox.com/incidents/1h4ky1glpxfq

Jumping in as well to confirm that I can also say this is not working.
-
@"whausername" - it is definitely only going to be available to multi-seat business licences. Single user accounts (Pro/Professional/Essentials) are not within this. From what I've seen/heard I'd not be surprised if it was for Enterprise customers only.
-
I dont believe their is, no. Sorry

Hi @"edumassu" I'd seriously suggest considering not using Dropbox as a sharing tool for a website. Its simply not designed or intended for this and Dropbox have, in the past, done things which have actively broken websites which host stuff. There are also very strict bandwidth limits on plans which cannot be removed if…

Do the links work for other people?

@"ecarson123" wrote:Will it just delete after the 12 month period? Will someone else gain access to them? Yes, after 12 months accounts are wiped and data removed. And no, nobody else could access them unless they get your email - this is same for even Dropbox staff.

The reason is that support is only available to paying users. If you are logged in and not paid you wont be able to log a ticket. But there is a single help option for being able to access support while not logged in - its getting help with account issues. And its very hit and miss. There are lots and lots of posts on here…
-
You will need to log a ticket at www.dropbox.com/support - make sure you are not logged in to here or the website and ask for help. Note that you may not be able to regain access. It is not always possible. The best bet would be to reactivate the GMail if you can.

Have you installed Dropbox? www.dropbox.com/downloading ?

.lnk files are shortcuts - they are not the actual file they simply point to the file in another place on your device. Dont back them up or you will loose data. They can only be in Dropbox if you added in (often accidentally dragging and dropping causes shortcuts to be created). Note this means at the moment if only the…

Have you followed https://help.dropbox.com/account-access/lost-email-access ?

@"aspireworks" wrote:Wow, genuinely blown away that Dropbox doesn't have that functionality. Thanks for answering, Mark! My suspicion on this is that the volume of emails it would generate would just be too intense and cause issues with spam filters etc.

You need to go to the app store if thats how you paid and cancel it via there
-
There is no such feature for this I'm afraid. Weekly digest update emails are the most that can be done.
-
Hi @"AlexSlaets" Dropbox does have block upload capability in that it uploads in 4mb blocks, but, that means if the file is less than 4mb in size it'll upload the whole thing again. Also you may find it does that if you download and reupload. You'd be better off editing the files within the Dropbox directory so they are…

Again, clutching at straws here - change email.... I assume you did that via the Dropbox website at www.dropbox.com/account page? If so everything 'becomes' the new email (i.e. the old email vanishes and all rights 'become' the new one). So that shouldnt be it. Have you searched emails to see if you have an email from…
-
And also from a practical point of view now - where are the backups of your data? Dropbox itself isnt a backup tool and never ever has been/or should be counted as one (note: they now have a backup tool/product BUT that works totally separate to sync and so can be counted). The rules of backup are to have the data…

Thanks for extra info 🙂 So, if Dropbox says the folder wasnt created by you..... it either wasnt OR it was and you transferred ownership to somebody else. Sorry that sounds harsh, but, folders never 'loose' their owner - even if that person leaves the folder and deletes it without giving ownership to somebody else it is…
