@"NB141" wrote: @"Rich" Thanks One thing just to be aware of is that if thinks like the card expire (expiration date/change of card number/3 digit CVC2 number etc.) you may need to update via the website. If it doesnt get updated payment MAY fail which could cause Dropbox to downgrade you and so your account get removed…

@"Aymen Mrabti" wrote: What is the guarantee then on your site to sign a contract?? What are the benefits and how can I earn my rights? I assume you mean Dropbox Sign? If so that is just a platform to manage the signatures. It has no control over the actual contract etc. That is down to you and your own due diligence with…

Ah, to view previous version you need to restore. That is the only way to check who uploaded it. The other possibility is that its in a share and they are locked so only shared folder owner can permanently delete them. However they will purge after 30 days.
-
What happens if you click on that photo and look at the Previous Version history? Who was the initial person who uploaded it?
-
Dropbox doesnt do that as a product or service I'm afraid. So you cannot get support here for that, you need to speak to the people you signed the agreement with.

@"Redhotpaddy" wrote:Cheers, yea but it was working fine up to a few days ago. It's strange. Not Dropbox stopped working with Excel? No, Dropbox does still work with Excel.

What was the contract for? What services did you buy?

You are using Backup as I said: www.dropbox.com/backups is using on the main account. The shared files at FD will appear at www.dropbox.com/share As that says you dont have space as you have used it all up. And as its still trying to upload, from your earlier images, what will happen is as soon as you delete say 1gb of…

That is helpful, thanks! What is www.dropbox.com/account/plan showing in terms of space? What about www.dropbox.com/backups Also are you on a trial or a paid plan?
-
Have you checked the links sent? Dropbox were at one point very sneaky at setting it up. And no, deleted files do not use quota. So basically one of those things above is using your space - everything at www.dropbox.com/home and www.dropbox.com/backups uses quota. Nothing else.
-
You need to remove a device from your account as it says. It is very likely your phone is now linked twice. You do that via https://www.dropbox.com/account/security under devices.
-
Have you checked www.dropbox.com/backups to see if you have files there? What about www.dropbox.com/share ? Also post what is showing at www.dropbox.com/account/plan in terms of the bar chart of space used.

@"nitinsirsat" wrote:Dear Mark, What will be next? I am sure that I logged in before 1 year. If an account has been deleted for inactivity it hasnt been accessed in a year - or accessed after Dropbox sent the multiple emails (over 3 months) saying it would be deleted. In that case the data isnt recoverable. If you log in…

@"terrychu" wrote:similar issue here: email account was disabled so I couldn't receive the 6-digit code. I have the correct account name and password, plz help me login. You need to follow the advice already given and attempt to contact support via methods said. Note that it is unlikely you will be able to do so.

Are you sure it isnt the computer saying its out of space and not Dropbox?

@"DonalLally" wrote:Hi Megan, Yes please. Please remove the card details and stop any further invoicing to the card(s)/account. You need to get your card provider to stop it. If they have used it here they will do so elsewhere as well. They need to put a lock on the card etc.

@"Laney Lou" wrote:@mark Hi!! It shows basic but I am charged 11.99 a month and have been for at least the last 3 years. Then you are logged in to a different account to what you are paying for. Which would explain why you only see the data from 2 months ago. Check for an email or receipt from Dropbox to see what the email…

Hi @"Laney Lou" Does events show nothing before the 2 month mark? What does www.dropbox.com/account show in terms of quota and plan - does it show you paying? That means one of two things. This account is brand new and not actually the one you are expecting to be using - especially if you are a paying user and this appears…

Have you tried clearing all cache and cookies on your browser?
-
Hi @"Cola_13" As long as you have made sure everything is uploaded to Dropbox, no, you wont. Check by putting your mouse over the Dropbox icon that its up to date and do a manual check at www.dropbox.com/home.
-
You dont manage Backups via the app. It is all done online Have you looked at https://help.dropbox.com/organize/restore-dropbox-backup-files ?
-
Yes it will be at the bottom 🙂 And it isnt possible to set all as offline I'm afraid. You can do it manually by highlighting and selecting but you may need to keep redoing it

@"EspaceSud" wrote:Okay, got it. And finally the folder file downloaded on mobile is in .zip... not a folder with a pdf, definitely a problem. Thx And to add to what @"Rich" said - that is same if you are on website or mobile. And across all Cloud solutions that I can think of - means you get 1 download instead of 10 or 15…
-
You need to set them to available offline first 🙂 Oh and make sure you have the software on your device to open them. Sometimes Windows will auto try and download files and then open them if they are online only, but, if not you can manually do it using above - note that Dropbox will need to be running to do this.
-
There isnt an official one, no. But, could you print and save as PDF?
-
Not sure how you are using it, but, I suppose the biggest thing I'd say is that Dropbox is not a content delivery system. It is not designed to be used for people to share it as a work group type set up - its much more intended for 'you need this doc/files etc. here you go' rather than a "we are selling these" or "here are…

Do other files and folders appear in Tempo? My suggestion would be to remove the connection with that software and re-add it. If the files are in Dropbox and you can see them then Dropbox itself is working. Its the link between the app and Dropbox which isnt - but that is controlled/set up and managed by the app itself.…
-
No there isnt. They need to tap on the bit that says 'continue to website' (or similar). The only options to get around would force it to auto download, but, as its a folder on a mobile device that wouldnt work
-
Do the files appear online if you go to www.dropbox.com/home ?
-
Where and how are you accessing the file? If its via a shared link then the file is referencing a file stored locally on (what looks like) Sandy's machine. She hasnt created the links correct in the file.
